"My web? Oh come on it's just a harmless joke. You people need to chill a little bit! Stop worrying so much and and stop taking everything so seriously." He said with a narrow grin.

Ayers watched the fight with dull interest. "Shucky dern, I sure am glad I got myself a beau arready. Maybe I oughta bring'm to the museum? He'd like'at a lot, and it's bin ahwile since I done seen'm. Hwutchall think?"

Dorm White Rose

"Bring'm over. I'm sure most of us would love to meet him." Charisse replied, her face clearly showing interest.

"You gonna tell us his name, or what?"

Dorm Workshop

The smell of instant noodles and coffee filled the air of the room. Belle didn't feel like making anything more elaborate, it would just be a waste of time. Because inspiration had struck her, and she had to get as much work done as can. She hadn't slept since yesterday and was still up and raring to go.

Not particularly caring about all the arguing going on, Glen ceased sharpening Mors for a moment to ask "This may sound a wee bit daft, but what's a museum?"

Ghatz blinked and looked at the girl who had ran into him. He recogbized her as Naima, and just smiled in response to her flustered actions. "Hey, no prob." He said, sticking a hand out to shake. "I'm... Ghatz. Ghatz Mienne." He looked at her studiously, his eyes fixed on her own. "And... you must be Naima. I've heard your name once or twice."

The Dorms

Naima took a moment to readjust her glasses before smiling back. "Hey there Ghatz! I've heard of you, too." He was one of the loud ones, right? There were so many hyper people around here it was sometimes hard to keep track. "You fought in Professor Port's class today, right? You all did well!"

"Well," Ayers began, light gathering in his eyes. "While I wuz, uh, recovering..." He wiggled his shoulders, "I had this doctor. Real friendly guy, real supportive'n smart. Cute feller too, which helped—Beetle Faunus, name'a Gregor Samson." He grinned stupidly. "Once I wuz well enough to walk around'n stuff, I aksed'm out. We hit it off, 'n he wuz totally supportive'f me going to Beacon too. We ain't bin together too long, but I figger it'sa gud thing we got going." He nudged his left pocket with his right foot, pushing his Scroll out of his pocket. From there he dropped it on the ground next to him, turned it on, and declared, "Call Gregor Samson. Speakerphone." He frowned and looked at everyone else as the phone rang. "Tha'sallright with y'all, right?"

Ghatz grinned and pumped a fist. "Oh heeeells yeah. We showed that overgroen guppie who's boss!" He laughed."I... I didn't really do as much as Al or Ieria or Medus though." He said, tugging absentmindedly on his scarf. "But hey, every little bit counts, am I right? And i didn't screw anything up this time, either so thats good. Anyways..." He held up his book. It was an old mythical epic, one that seemed worn from use. "Now I'm just chillin out. After all the fighting today, I'm exhaudted. What about you, are you up to anything tonight?"

The Dorms

Naima nodded. "Yeah. I still think you did great for what it's worth." And that was her genuine opinion. Take it or leave it. "Ah, I'm not doing much. Just walking around snacking before bed. I tell myself I won't do it but I can never resist. Now I have to go brush my teeth again..."

Her eyes fell on the book in his hand. "Oh! I've read that! It's really good, isn't it? Not many people know about it."

Ghatz blinked and grinned. "Yeah! You have?" He handed it to her. "It's a great story, right? Dashing and brave hero, beautiful and strong heroine, and a crazy-ass extreme adventure." He looked away for a moment. "Sure, it's a little cliche'd and unbelievable. But don't you like to think sometimes that life could be just like a great story?" He chuckled . "Sorry. I get a little.... weird sometimes. But you seem to have an appreciation for good literature, am I right? That's awesome!"

Charisse didn't say anything, and instead gave a silent thumbs up of approval.

That made 2 other couples that were like hers. Interesting. She wasn't completely sure how those would be accepted in Mistral, but from what she could remember from her studies (which wasn't much) she was pretty sure they had been accepting of it since way back.

Didn't Lando himself have a boy toy of his own? Calris or something like that. Ansol?

"Chariiisse!"

Ai collided with Charisse midair as she tackle-hugged her girlfriend while nuzzling her cheek affectionately.

"I finished it!" she said. "My new weapon design, I mean."

Ai let go.

"I've thought about it, and I think I'm ready for new weapons," said Ai. "I just want some opinions before I go making them."

Ai unfurled a rolled up blueprint. It was a fairly small one, reflecting its simple design: two as-of-yet unnamed reinforced boots with an extending blade each concealed in the soles. The blades would be recycled from spares normally used to repair her yo-yos. The same booster mechanism used in the Tiger Teeth was replicated in the heel of the boots, for devastating Dust-powered kicks.

And yet their main purpose seemed relatively mundane: used in conjunction with her yo-yos' Claw Mode, they would allow her to scale walls. Yun's comment about his gecko faunus classmate earlier had given her the idea.

"What do you think, team?"

Silently, Tori had snuggle her way into Jack's grasp while he was passed out, and stayed there, giggling quietly. She pulled out her Scroll, and took a picture of the two of them snuggled up.

A smaller person would probably have fallen over, but Charisse held fast despite the tackling.

"The boots look fine, but do you really need claws on all your limbs? Well then again, that's what tigers are like so that makes sense... what're ya gonna call 'em anyway?"

Names were always important. While Charisse didn't really like poetic sentimentality, she believed that the name of a weapon carried some kind of weight to it, like a soul of sorts.

Rufus loitered around, his ears picking up Ayer's conversation. His mood darkened, not that one could tell. He was always frowning.

How does he get a boyfriend.

Some people like aggressive assholes.

Well, I can be an aggressive asshole.

No, I'm aggressive and an asshole. I don't tend to really combine the two.

Ayers isn't that bad.

He has burning tar in his belly and he spews it from his mouth at every opportunity at every perceived wrong.

Frontier justice, only an extension of that. While help when you can hurt?

There are certainly more civilized people who live in the same conditions. I've seen them. His is just a violent people.

Aren't all of the Snikersnax?

We never called it justice.

So, yeah, Rufus spent a great deal of time staring at the wall, quite a bit spaced out.

Naima took the book and clutched it to her chest, nodding along with every said about it eagerly. "It's a classic! I'm surprised no one has tried to make a movie out of it yet. I think it would do really well. I know I'd see it. And what you're saying isn't weird at all!" She reassures, reaching out to rest a hand on his shoulder. "Life is what we want it to be. And if you want it to be a great adventure, then it can be." Wise words!

"Good literature is... well, good! I'm always on the lookout for great books. The library here is so massive. I don't think I'll be able to read everything before graduation!"

Workshop

For once Imuka has actually not joined Belle in the workshop, even stranger is she has not really cleaned up from earlier either with her rockets and there tubes scattered a bit around.

Earlier #Team Blue

"Y-Yes it also a deriga.... derogatory term for some one who perferes the company of there own sex" she replies looking down at her feet, before leaving doing her best to hide her face as she does so.

Ghatz looked up, smiling. "Yeah! But it's nothing compared to Cascata's library. Some people spend their whole lives there, reading every last page to the letter." He sighed. "That's probably where I'll end up if I fail here... but thats beside the point." He lit up. "Thanks for not thinking I'm just a weirdo. Maybe sometime me and you could hang out at the library together? Would that be cool?"

The Dorms

"Their whole lives? Wow." Naima wondered if she could spend her entire life in a library like that. "And I'd like that a lot! It's not easy to find common ground with people when it comes to that sort of thing..."

#Teambreezy—er, Blue

"Well shucky dern!" Ayers exclaimed in surprise. "Seriously?! Sheeeit, I can't believe I bin doing that fer so long!" He clenched a fist. "Gat dangit, ain't that funny, me being panseckshul'n'all too!" He grinned at Imuka. "Thanks fer letting me know! Anything else I oughta know about hwut I bin saying?"

The Scroll picked up on the second ring. "Hello? Gregor Samson's office." The voice on the other end had a bad connection, but still came through as high-pitched and reedy, with a buzzing undercurrent.

Ayers smiled proudly at the room. "Howdy, Boo, how y'all bin?!"

"Ayers!" The voice on the other end squeaked excitedly. "It's been awhile! What is happening? Where are you?" The voice slowed down a little, as seductively as his voice could get. "Or were you here to schedule an, uh, examination?"

Ayers cleared his throat. "Uh, Gregor, yer on speaker."

"OH MY GOD!" For a split second, Ayers thought he saw the phone blush. "I AM SO SORRY YOU HAD TO HEAR THAT! Oh my god, Ayers, you fucking dingus! And to the rest of you Hunters... you are all actually out there, right? Daddy Wulf isn't just pulling my wing? And he better be keeping good company!"

"Aw, c'mon!" Ayers groaned in embarassment. "Y'all call me Daddy all y'all want, but first'f all yer the one fretting over me, and second," Ayers grinned evilly. "Gregor's actually—"

"THEY DON'T NEED TO HEAR THAT!" Gregor squealed in protest. "So, anyway, please, Ayers, who's on your Team?"

Charisse restrained herself from erupting into boisterous laughter. Physically too, she actually appeared to be in pain from how much she was holding back.

Her mouth was covered by one hand, and her other was firmly pressed against her lower torso. This was gold, maybe even platinum quality stuff here.

It was great material to use when the guy came over.

Dorm

Pius was now going through his post-battle relaxation routine. He had downed his third glass of chocolate milk, and now he was working on his fourth as his body slowly forgot his impact with Jack and the subsequent rolling around the arena. He was glad that Lucas and Alexia had finished the job on the Grimm, but he wished that he had been part of the final strike.

Now he was observing the situation in the living room area of the dorm's first floor, noting that the Golden was arriving in Vale in a couple days. The Nobel frowned as he watched Alexia interact with her excuse of a knight, wondering how she could be seriously considering an outing with him as a date.

She deserves much better than him or myself.' He thought.

Pius then noticed Rufus acting like he himself did whenever he was in a brooding mood. The Nobel walked around until he was in the Snikersnax's field of vision before speaking up.

"Something on your mind, Rufus?" He sipped some more chocolate milk while he waited for a reply.

Ghatz nodded. "I know. You seem like a pretty nice person, somebody I'd like to chat with." He scratched the back of his head and chuckles, a subtle bit of nervousness in his voice. He couldn't stop looking at her, into her eyes, as if he were trying to find something. "So... as for right now-ish, if you're not busy... we could go do something. If thats cool with you. If it ain't, um, its fine and sorry. I'm just wondering..."

On his way up, Yun spotted Naima chatting happily to a boy he recognized as the "Unlikely Fighter". He smiled at the fact that they both seemed to be getting along very well.

It's rare that Naima gets so engaged in conversations with others… Yun thought happily. This boy might be good for her.
