• Weapons and Equipment: Stormer's weapon is known as Raijin, a katana named after the ancient Vacurian word for thunder. It is made of a special steel alloy, with a glowing silver blade and black hilt with chrome accents, and has the special ability to channel lightning for attacks thanks to its ability to use Lightning-element Dust. The sword also comes with a special sheath with a trigger built into it, which makes the weapon function like an assault rifle (shooting out lightning-charged bullets, no less), but only when the sword is sheathed. He has 200 points of lightning to use before the blade runs out of juice, and he likes to carefully spend them. Each non-special usage of the lightning in sword mode costs 20 Lightning Points and consists of shooting a small stream of lightning at a target. In assault rifle mode, it uses up 1 lightning point for every bullet shot. Both modes run off the same pool of Lightning Dust, so he must be cautious with his usage of electricity. He can recharge it with Lightning Dust Crystals, with 1 crystal = 100 Lightning Points, or it will recharge very slowly over time, with 1 Hour = 100 Lightning Points.

• Semblance: Flash of Light- Stormer can use his Aura to perform a short-range, limited use, weaponized teleport. He can quickly teleport from point A to point B in seconds, which has both mobility and offensive abilities. Upon reappearing after using his Semblance, he releases a blinding flash of light and lightning in a small area of effect around him, about 5 feet wide. He does also have the option to teleport farther, teleport more often, or have the flash and lightning hit harder, all at the cost of draining more of his Aura. However, farther teleports cause more damage automatically, so allies have to stand away if they're not going with him. But using his semblance too many times in a row, or pushing the distance of the teleport too far will drain his Aura quickly and tire him out. The maximum distance he can teleport without completely draining himself is about a mile.

• Personality: Stormer is a very honorable gentleman first and foremost. He possesses a strong sense of justice and honor, and refuses to use dirty tactics in battle, even if doing so would make things a lot easier for him. He is also a firm believer in the Straight Edge philosophy, which abstains from alcohol, smoking, or any other kind of modern vices. He is calm, cool, and collected, and his rather happy and caring upbringing has lead to him possessing an idealistic worldview. Although he is a normally reasonable guy, harming children or innocent civilians is a surefire way to incur his wrath. He also can't stand racism, sexism, or any kind of prejudice toward others, and unlike many others, he sees the Faunus as equals. And he will not hesitate to teach any person who shows signs of bigotry a lesson in respect.

• Bio: Stormer Aurion comes from the Kingdom of Vale, and has dreamed of being a Hunter ever since he was young. His parents were a pair of retired Hunters, who were actually Beacon Alumni back in the day. He always heard stories from them of Huntsmen and Huntresses, and their noble deeds defending all of Remnant. Stormer wanted to be just like his parents, and asked them for years to send him to a school where he could learn to be a Huntsman. Then, his father gave him something that would change the young boy's life forever on his 12th birthday: a weapon for him to use to become a Huntsman, which he named Raijin. Stormer, overjoyed that his parents were finally letting him study to be a Huntsman, was sent to an all-boys Hunter school called Searchlight, where he learned the skills needed to perfect his combat techniques. He trained long and hard for 6 years so he could get into Beacon when he graduated from Searchlight, and mastered a swift, but fierce fighting style to suit his weapon. When final exams came, Stormer ended up passing with flying colors, and soon was accepted into Beacon. He's prepared for whatever challenges he might face while there, and eagerly awaits meeting his future team members.

Funny thing about Hunters: Either they're too focused on, like, being professional monster hunters to give a damn about that, or they're all aggressive and confrontational folks who don't understand why some people would need to be articulately educated on problematic behavior due to differing cultural backgrounds.

I guess my character's a bit different in that regard, then. Is he good to go for the RP?

Most seem good. Except, why does he have no Semblance? Anyone with an awakened Aura should have one.

I always assumed she was different bexause of her modifications.

See, Stormer has no semblance because I want to make him a Badass Normal, in a way. Although, I will give him one if you require me to.

I don't think having a semblance or an awakened aura is a requirement, but I might aught to just add one, just in case I'm wrong about that.

It's required. There is no way someone can survive in Beacon without Aura.

Okay, I've added a semblance to his profile that I think will fit him and isn't too broken. Am I good to go, Grim?

One of our biggest problems during this rp's past was someone who hadn't even watched RWBY. I'm not sure he ever did even after starting the rp.
