Okay, that was an interesting episode.
But seriously, the ridiculousness of Kara's so called Secret Identity was on full display here^^
And I'm really curious to see where they are going with James and his new powers.

One Strip! One Strip!I really liked the little waver she affected in her voice when she was in her civilian persona. Really sold the "I'm just a reporter who was caught in the middle of a prison riot and I'm super out of my depth and don't know what to do!" thing. Honestly, that whole scene was up there with the "welp! guess the bullets missed me somehow!" in the ep where she was with Lena and Eve earlier this season unable to change into her superhero guise.
I also just love Secret Identity Shenanigans. They are so much fun.
I hope they continue to tie in his powers into his PTSD arc that's been going on. Seemed like that's what they were doing last week and I dug that.

Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.
That episode because a lot darker in hindsight when you realize Eve knew who she really was the entire time.
One Strip! One Strip!....oh damn, I didn't even think about that. You're right. Lots of stuff about Eve becomes darker in light of the reveal.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Like, did she know Mon-El was Supergirl's Daxamite friend when she slept with him?

I think Supergirl should just keep saving people and telling people she didn't do it when people bug her. Disappearing is just going to make her look more guilty.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.
Everything will make her look more guilty, because that's what the plot wants.
I kinda see what you're saying, but alternatively, her presence my just escalate things. All it takes is someone with a lot more power than stupid dude with a gun and soon things go really crazy (and somehow Kara gets blamed).
One Strip! One Strip!Given how faceblind people in the supergirl universe seem to be, she could likely just.. dye her hair red, change her costume and start calling herself Dana Karvers.

Think Superman or Supergirl impersonator is a legit job in this universe?
Wake me up at your own risk.I'd be surprised if it wasn't, honestly. Though maybe they wouldn't be inclined to keep those jobs now...
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself. It's fun watching Lockwood suffer.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Well, it's fun now.
There was a time when he didn't really deserve it.
Now it's just like that's your fault.
I kinda wish the woman wasn't an alien though. The irony of the person who first came after him (Manchester) being a human was great. I think having the woman be a normal human who married an alien killing his wife would be an extra helping of irony in Lockwood's asshole sandwich.
One Strip! One Strip!Great to see this smug asshole getting humiliated, for sure. Though I'm not sure if killing Lydia is gonna help....I mean, Lockwood knows who did it, he is gonna come cracking down HARD on her, her family and aliens in general off course. And George might have his Heel–Face Turn reversed.
Still, absolutely no sympathy.

I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyWhen Lena was coming clean to Kara about working with Lex, THAT was the moment for Kara to tell her she's supergirl. But she didn't. Whatever excuses she had before for not doing it, they are all meaningless now.
You lost! There is a tendency to make the secret identity drama for far longer than it should be. Even if there are given several chances and the person has been proven trustworthy several times. Kinda dumb, to be honest.
Wake me up at your own risk.I say it again: Kara disclosed her Identity to Lucy Lane in Season 1, so that she would stop being jealous.
This ̶i̶s̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶s̶t̶u̶p̶i̶d̶ has beend stupid for a long time.

You lost!Yeah, but Season 1 wasn't directly the CW yet. Once it was, DRAMA become the order of the day.
One Strip! One Strip! Now that's I've watched the episode, Lena's massive trust issues probably play a huge role in it.
She's got Kara terrified of ever telling her the truth and it's just causing her to dig herself deeper.
One Strip! One Strip! If I was a lesbian I'd find Alex's baby subplot so offensively stereotypical.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. The way it ended was hilarious though.
Damn it Kara, that moment in the plane was the PERFECT moment to come clean towards Lena and you blew it!

I'm glad we got to have some very nice Secret Identity Shenanigans! Also, hooray for finally getting to focus on reporting again.
Next week's episode looks like fun! I'm excited for Nia to get to really shine as a superhero.
