Do you think the Samurai Jack's YMMV is going to be revamped after this? I enjoyed season 5 but I can't disagree with these complaints.
Man, headphones are a bad idea.
No. YMMV pages are not there just to chronicle random internet critics' opinions.
Thats not how it works.
Watch SymphogearThank you for correcting me. I do believe he highlights a lot of YMMV tropes of season 5.

ashis death is NOT logical as its a paradox no ashi means no her sending jack back in time
also the romance is creepy when you think about it ashi has the maturity of a child no idea if enter brings this up have not watched his review yet
but yea i honestly think a father daughter bond would have worked better
also jack going back in time was a mistake
honestly i think he should have died in the battle with aku both killing the other and then the last scene is ashi with his sword striking down some random robots and when asked who she is she says "call me jack" basically taking up his mantle
Agree about Jashi being unnecessary (I liked Season 5 overall but Jack didn't need a love interest IMO; he works better as a Celibate Hero to me), but have to disagree with the time travel thing. The ENTIRE point of the show's story is that Jack "seeks to return to the past and undo the future that is Aku". It's literally in the intro of every episode, and I think NOT having Jack return to the past would be a letdown (time paradox issues aside).
"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"To me having him fail to go back to the past could be thematic. You can't change the past, but you can make a better future. I also kind of figured that they would fire the chekhov's gun of the guardian's portal by having Jack permanently defeat Aku by sending him to the end of time itself.
going back in time means none of the characters we loved from the series where ever born
it was not jut ashi who was retgonned so wa the scotssman the dogs the rave children the jumo good guys
none of them where ever born as such a massive amount of history was changed its impossible for any of them to have been born
and season 5 was about this really about how jack cant change the past the episode showing every one he helped was showing that he has made a difference here in the present or future or wtv
Found three interesting videos that I have been itching to share them someplace for discussion. They're basically counterpoints from people who liked some of the series that Mr. Enter has thrashed, so I thought it would be interesting to highlight some positive unpopular opinions on series Enter is well-known for having given a thumbs down to. The first one is of Angela Anaconda, and the other two are on Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners.
Now admittedly, I don't think this thread is the best place to share what I found (if you have better recommendations, please tell me!), but I couldn't think of anywhere better and REALLY wanted to highlight the videos to a potential audience. Besides, Mr. Enter is behind some of the notoriety these shows have gained to some degree (and more or less expresses the common opinions the cartoon fanbase has of them) and my mind immediately went to him with the Angela Anaconda review (also the Nickelodeon ones are outright rebuttals to him).
Truth be told though, I don't care much for any of the shows discussed and don't plan on checking them out any time soon, but these videos definitely made me see them in a more appreciative light.
Also, Benzie Johnson (the guy behind the two Nickelodeon ones) is an underrated cartoon reviewer, and I highly recommend that people check him out; I especially love his reviews of Canadian cartoons because of how much he genuinely loves and respects the output of Teletoon, YTV, Family Channel, etc. (in his words, "Canadian cartoons are like packages from Planet X* . Sometimes they work, and sometimes they hurt, but they always blow my mind").

“Now! Let us engage in the art of deduction!”Is it weird that the impression I got of Mr. Enter before the shit that went down in 2020 was that of a guy obsessed with Seth Mac Farlane

Me: "I think I'll go and edit the page of a work I read" Also me: Get frustrated at the editing UI, gives up, and hopes someone else does iWell, he did review a lot of Family Guy episodes. Although I don't recall him making any comments about Mac Farlane specifically, but I don't usually follow the social media of youtubers.
He did make a lot of disparaging comments towards McFarlane, most recently during the "Worst Cartoons of the 2010s" list where he rambled McFarlane for how bad modern Family Guy is when McFarlane is about as involved with FG these days as Matt Groening is with The Simpsons (that is to say, barely at all)
I'm having to learn to pay the priceDoesn't Seth Mcfarlane voice like half the main cast of Family Guy.
Yup! He's Peter, Brian, and Stewie, as well as a large chunk of the supporting cast. Guy is a really talented voice actor; it's really something he does not get enough credit for.
"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"Seth is now doing The Orville which past its first season has done quite well actually.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."It's honestly pretty baffling that he would blame Seth's writing for Modern Family Guy when I'm pretty sure none of the episodes he did an Animated Atrocity for were even written by Seth (who apparently hasn't written an episode since 2010).
What's the over/under that he starts ranting about Seth in the next AA he does on Family Guy (which seems to be the episode HTT Pete, an episode written by Damien Fahey)

Me: "I think I'll go and edit the page of a work I read" Also me: Get frustrated at the editing UI, gives up, and hopes someone else does ii disagree with the idea seth is a tallented VA
he has good range sure
but he cant put emotion into anything any time he tries to sound emotional it sounds hilariously bad
and i dont just me sadness he is not good at any emotion really
also im pretty sure he said he is done with family guy reviews
i dont believe it either just saying

He's apparently really great in The Orville, which incidentally is supposed to be good all around which certainly surprised me.
Self-serious autistic metalhead who goes by any pronouns. (avvie template source)In all seriousness, I honestly do not get his hatred of Seth... then again, I don't get a lot of things about this guy
Me: "I think I'll go and edit the page of a work I read" Also me: Get frustrated at the editing UI, gives up, and hopes someone else does iI just remember thinking that his speech to Macfarlane was dumb. As if Seth is actually gonna watch your video and take what you have to say to heart. The fact that Seth has very little involvement in FG beyond voice acting just makes it, while well-meaning, very miusguided
As for hatred, well Enter has issues with mean-spiritedness, and seeing as how Family Guy seeks to offend pretty much everybody by being super mean and vulgar, its going to trigger him

He's one to talk, considering his recent videos are basically on the same level of Mean spirited ness that he supposedly hates.

Watch Symphogearso some drama went down with enters editor star giant productions no idea whats going on but a response video is releasing soon
Well, considering how stories work, narratively speaking that was the exact right time for something bad to happen to her.
