I bet Lucky Chloe makes people wish they'd just used Eliza instead.

And I don't think Eliza is all that popular either.

Eliza got voted in Revolution so I'd imagine people can at least tolerate her.

People still haven't gotten over the poor girl, she doesn't seem too bad tbh. I don't like the idea of her possibly replacing Christie though.

Judging by what the link saying about Kazumi a couple of moves pertaining to Mishima-ryu Karate, think she may have also studied under Jinpachi and that Heihachi was her training partner, only for their relationship to evolve into being lovers?

Ah, quick question. Why would Kazumi be the boss for the game? She wants to stop Heihachi right? If Jun's not busy angling for a Japanese Sons of Anarchy she'd be all for that. If Asuka is not busy being a Bully Hunter she'd be all for that. If Leo is not busy being awesome she'd be all for that. The list of characters that would be happy for Heihachi to go down would easily make up the roster of some other games. Why would Kazumi have a problem with that?

Maybe she wants to take down Heihachi, but protect Kazuya and Jin, who are worse, and extremely anti-heroic (but still villainous to everyone else) respectively.

Since most of the other characters likely see them as being as bad as Heihachi (and in the case of Kazuya, they are right, though Jin is more debatable), this might means she's fighting people who'd she'd be working with normally.

Took me this long to realize that...

Jin is gone from the roster. Jin Kazama is gone from the roster. Even if Xiaoyu is in.

Is he gonna be another time-release character, I wonder?

Or maybe his story ended with Azazel. Though I doubt it. He wanted to end the Mishima line, and he didn't really accomplish that.

I just wonder just how Xiaoyu is still around even if Jin is gone. Her story has always been about 'follow Jin'. Without Jin, what do you think she'll do?

This gets more about returning to roots when the Mishima struggle are just between Kazuya and Heihachi, back in 1 and 2. I bet those anti-Jin guys who think he stole the protagonist title from either both of them are squeeing in joy.

High School Girl even harder with Alisa, who's story ended before it even really began.

Half the cast has no reason to join the tournament any more.

Money.

Yeah, what is Alisa gonna do now?

I enjoyed her Rocket Punch styled justice.

Maybe she can find a new purpose.

I just want to say this about Lucky Chloe - I think it's premature to judge her. Yeah the design isn't the best (cat arms... WTF), but a silly look shouldn't be a surprise considering that it's Tekken. I'd wait until we actually get to play as her/know more about her character before passing judgment.

Really, does anyone stay dead in Tekken? 5 opened with "HEIHACHI MISHIMA IS DEAD" and no one bought that for a second. Kazuya came back, I seriously doubt Jin is actually dead, Jun is officially stated to be missing... not that I'm complaining mind you. I'd hate for any of these characters to go.

0. This game is not known for deep characters. What you see is what you get, and she's specifically been described as easy to play and learn.

And she might even be replacing the Capos entirely, at least in the arcade release.

Then tell me your definition of 'more than meets the eye' followed by an example even if that doesn't come from Tekken. I'm not sure about the standards of people these days.

Prime example of more than meets the eye, and a mostly well executed misdirection I like to think.

I very highly doubt Lucky Chloe is going to turn out to be an Illuminati agent.

I responded that we've known everything about every Tekken character not named Kazuya the second they're playable in some capacity.

I don't think you're wrong, and I'm not trying to make fun of you, I just couldn't resist the More than Meets the eye line.

It's my personal weakness.

I don't really care about Chloe, but I do agree we should see how she turned out. She could easily surprise us.

Could be worse.

Could be a LOT worse. Or maybe I should have wrote to Harada and said the Chole haters would prefer Cena.

But it's fun booing John Cena. I don't even hate him, but I love how people will side with whoever is against him just because they don't like him, no matter what that guy does.

Kazuya just needs to beat up Chloe every chance he gets, and he'll be the biggest Big Damn Hero ever, no matter how many people he murders.

I'm just waiting for the legendary hall of fame Tekken King of Iron Fist warrior, Jun in other words. If she's in Harada can have Chloe, Cena and whoever else he likes.
