I know that I'm alone here, but I'm honestly sad that there's no Guest Fighter for Season 3.

Guests are cool and all but t7 has had some glaring holes in its toster from the start. Bruce, Wang, Beak, and Roger jr. are still MIA.

I thought that was his ending in Tekken 6?

Not all t6 endings are canon. T5 ending for asuka had her heal jin, we never know whats real until they show up again.

Yea, I still can't believe they still do anything with Asuka yet.

Then again, Paul used to be the guy that fought Kazuya to a draw. Now look where he is.

Is that really all the missing characters that aren't in the game that aren't some sort pf palette swap? What about Kunimitsu & Jun?

We're running into characters with fewer and fewer differences from the core cast. Bruce unfortunately had his style applied to Josie. Wang shares a lot of his style with the Changs. Hwoarang adopted some of Baek's moves in Tekken 7. Roger is still pretty unique, though there's always been a bit of DNA shared with the Kings. Ganryu is also pretty unique. Kunimitsu is largely derived from Yoshimitsu, and most of Jun's stuff was usurped by Asuka back in Tekken 5.

That's not to say that there isn't enough difference to make the characters worthwhile, or to assume that they wouldn't be evolved further as part of their development for this game (see Zafina with her Azazel powers), but it muddies the waters of prioritizing who gets in. Of those still missing, I'd argue Roger Jr, Ganryu, and Jinpachi (I know he's dead, but hey, so is Kazumi) have the most unique styles that aren't already represented in some form. But they are pretty far from popular picks.

No lies though, if it was Roger and Ganryu I'd finally buy the game. I miss my weirdos.

I wonder if the next 3 characters are going to be returning characters. I would imagine one of them will be a scrapped idea from Revolution.

Fahkuram looks like he came striaght out of Baki the Grappler.

And Leroy being a Whing Chun Pimp is great, even having a good doggo to assist him.

I pretty sure that look Julia had on her face at the end of Ganryuu's video was shared by a vast majority of the fandom.

Leroy Smith looks great, and I love seeing Ganryu back! Fahkumram may take some time for me to appreciate more, but his design looks cool.

Now I'm gonna hope for future Seasons with Prototype Jack, Kunimitsu, Jun Kazama, Roger or Mrs Roger and Roger Jr, Alex, Tiger Jackson, and Miharu Hirano added in.

Fahkumram reminds me of Galoang especially in his battle against the Fang of Metsudo.

Its really offputting how in cutscene mode he dwarfs mardauk but in gameplay they look about the same height

Yeah, might of been smarter to cut a trailer without any gameplay first the way they did Leroy.
