Yeah, it was kinda disturbing that you couldn't tell if Marco broke up with Jackie because of feelings for Star or because of Blood Moon (even if its really both)
In the end the blood moon was a leech that needed to be cut out for their own good in the long run.
This is a good outcome for any ship involving the two mains since it was definitely messing with Marco. It also is a great outcome in a pure character sense in regards to Star, Marco and honestly Tom also since he planned to bind himself and Star using said curse.
It does cement old Tom as a pretty terrible person. Because not many people decide that using a curse is a reasonable means of getting back in a relationship with your old flame.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee Costa"I love Kelly, but I just don't see the chemistry between her and Marco as a couple. 'Break-up buddies' actually sounds more what they truly are. It doesn't help that Marco just keeps on showcasing more chemistry with Tom. Seriously Disney, let Star/Marco/Tom be endgame!"
This seems about right (maybe a slight bit more one-sided against Kelly if generous). That said, I admit to being slightly surprised and not being particularly pleased when Starco started moving season 2 after Season 1 had an excellent Like Brother and Sister sort of rapport that is generally so hard to find. So I've been wrong before.

One does not simply defy the cliches, they're gonna get together and it'll be cute and bland AS.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Gotta agree that I didn't see them as couple at all in season 1 so I was surprised that Blood Moon Ball episode went there
Eh, I like it, really. I think it's handled pretty well. Just because it's done before doesn't mean it's not good. If it seemed like they went with it just to finish the checklist, it would have been bad, but they actually went through some very real development to get to this point.
I also like the way they acknowledge that feelings are complicated, and included an Unrequited Love Switcheroo to make sure the feelings involved are actually complicated, as opposed to waffling around the subject by way of Can't Spit It Out alone.
Also, Starco is adorable.
This hasn't been done before, if they get together "now" it doesn't really matter.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I suddenly remembered the episode "Marco Grows a Beard". Makes me wonder if that's just a coincidence regarding his relationship with Kelly.
Also, I recall seeing Wool-Hair-Do practiced before.
It really is weird how I want Starco to happen, but I want to see Ship Tease with Marco and the other girls too!
I wouldn't be surprised if Marco had Ship Tease with Pony Head just for the hell of it. I mean, he's already done it with literally every other female character.
Here's all the episode names up until the series finale.
To note: the series finale is named "Cleaved."
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."shudder
Think it'll have some deeper meaning?
"Now, that's a funny word. You can cleave something apart, or you can cleave something together."
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh man.
Is anyone NOT ready for this?
Because I'm not ready...
Well, then it is a good thing that we still have about two months of weekly episodes to ease us in, eh?
Man, 'tis a good show. I hate to see it go, but I'd hate it even more for it to keep going until it's been run into the ground.
I dunno, I feel one more season would do...there's just so much hanging right now that I fear will never be left solved.
Still, as long as Kelly and Tom get generous appearances, and there's some time at Echo Creek, I'm not going to have that much to object to.
So, it seems that we'll be getting a couple of episodes centred on Jannah. Which kinda sucks, since I'm not a big fan of Jannah. I'm guessing they need her there for a Pair the Spares ending between her and Tom.
Kelly's closure might be along the lines of "Don't need a boyfriend to be happy".
Also, much hype for the finale, but the episode titled "Coronation" is one to keep an eye on too. Going by some of the titles that come afterwards, I'm predicting that will be the end of Eclipsa.

> I'm predicting that will be the end of Eclipsa.
I'm willing bet it's either going to be Globgor or Mina,or combination both during a crossfire
New theme music also a boxOoooh, now that is interesting. It would be all tragic and stuff. I can go for that.
Biggest twist I'm expecting is that Solaria didn't die during a monster ambush but swapped bodies with Globgor, the irony being that she hated monsters but became one herself
New theme music also a boxI admit that Pair the Spares can be cheap, but I really do think it would work here, seeing as how Tom is a demon and Janna is an occultist.
Oh, I don't mind either. I just really don't like Jannah all that much. Or much at all, rather.

It'd be her only comeuppance if that means anything...
Something to look forward to.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.At least the show remembered Janna. As opposed to the editorially mandated dorks, Janna does stuff.
