In topics that will hopefully cause less hair to fall off my head, do you think this game will have a proper "main" character? The trailer and fanart has put some emphasis on the orange girl inkling, so I'm wondering if she'll stick as the game's face.

Then Nintendo would have more female protagonists than any other company.
As for game modes, I'd like a Secure-the-Base mode where there are nine bases, and you need to paint more of them in your color to win. Having 9 bases means camping is out, so the players have to keep running around to secure and re-secure them.

did an interview where he talked about the Splatoon team.
He mentioned that the team is made up of 10 members from the Animal Crossing team; they also have the director of Star Fox 64 3D and the director of Nintendo Land working on Splatoon.

I think we talked about that one. But I still love the looks of the characters. I wonder if there are even going to be any male models to play as.
Since they're coming out around the same time, who thinks this game will have exclusive Sunset Overdrive gear and costumes(Definate no, IMHO)

The male ones are the ones with the tentacle ponytails. The pigtails are the girls.
