Yeah, Zed Time is set to Hell on Earth. Up, Up, and Decay, Cranium Cracker, and the exploding zeds one were set to Hard if I remember correctly.

Where'd you hear about the difficulty for the exploding Zeds one? That doesn't start until next week.

Did anyone else find Bobble Zed much harder than Cranium Cracker (headshot only)? Headshots were pretty easy to get anyway, so giving them a bunch of extra health more than made up for the larger targets.

So the Beefcake weekly is basically "Zeds can now become Titans" mode

: Exploding zeds was the weekly outbreak that debuted along with the summer sideshow. Whether it was intentional or not I don't know, but I played it and got the reward for completing it.

The floor was killed.◊ (unofficial map though, and they said beating the boss did involve exploiting an AI bug)

I initially assumed Tripwire was making shit up.

I assumed wrong.

They seem to have a thing for bizarre, obscure guns.

It has two triggers, so maybe it'll be like the sawed-off shotgun where you shoot one at a time with primary fire and both with Secondary Fire.

So, they're adding perk Prestige ala Call of Duty, a new system is being released which has all weapons being upgradeable to increase their damage and possibly weight to change up late-game builds, and Mrs. Foster is returning as paid DLC VOICED BY CLAUDIA BLACK! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

A prestige system will be a nice addition—I maxed all the perks a while ago and kind of wanted to re-experience being low-leveled again with the maps/weapons/etc. released since.

I just wish the last five levels didn't take so long. Yeah, prestige increases experience gain, but it'll take the same amount of time proportional to other levels.

Free weekend...this weekend.

M32 MGL, Fireaxe and the Thompson SMG will be returning to KF2 shortly.

It was nice taking my perks back to level 0—now I can go back to Hard without it seemingly trivially easy.

Well, I didn't see that coming.

In addition to the aforementioned GaryBusey playing Badass Santa, there's seasonal Zed skins, the Fire Axe, M32GL, Thompson SMG and Krampus Battle Axe weapons are being added, and two new maps.

New map, weapons, and now it's fine-ish to burn Scrakes and Fleshpounds after they went pissed off.

New weapons being worked on KF2, the Seal Squeal again, and Horzine deciding the idea of a Healing Shiv is just too subtle.

Objective Mode added to Outpost and Zed Landing as well as a new map. Also, some balance changes.

The Halloween event for this year.

Oddly, the website shows a picture of a Mosin Nagant among the weapon pictures while there is no blurb for the weapon itself.

I'd been wondering if we'd ever get a bolt-action rifle (a repeating one, not a super-powerful single-shot). Enemies are so numerous, the game is kind of averse to manual-action guns unless they're shotguns.
