Why haven't we tried diplomacy yet, then? Invading someone doesn't automatically make you evil. I was just establishing that we were, in fact, the 'good guys'.
EDIT: Also, I'm pretty sure this RP is supposed to be over-the-top and somewhat silly.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget? All you would be doing is establishing that we're fighting because of Horrible Communication Skills.
Or whatever that trope is.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI would be establishing that humans DIDN'T just attack us because Poor Communication Kills, but because Humans Are the Real Monsters.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Sorry, I can be a bit antagonistic sometimes.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseIt's fine. I can get kind of defensive. We all overreact sometimes.
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?I dont't. Angler coming soon.
Good to be backWe are at war because A), Poor Communication Kills, and B), WHAT ABOUT ALL THE GOOD THINGS WAR HAS DONE FOR US?!

"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousIn any case... My issue with the character is that that sort of personality/motivation has gotten rather cliche, and it doesn't look like the character has any new spin on it. If you don't mind me being really blunt, the character feels boring and I don't really want such overt message-anvils in a game that's supposed to be light-hearted.
Exist, pursued by bearWell, it could provide fodder for snarking.
Good to be backI would recommend not being 100 feet tall.
And yeah, seems a little cliche.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousOne, I was intending for him to be the Comically Serious, hence the 'mistaken for a tree when he meditates' thing (I probably should have been more clear on this - my apologies). Two, being Anvilicious enough, especially if done really badly, can wind up being funny. Just because something looks serious and heavy-handed doesn't mean you can't make fun of it.
Why not 100 feet tall? I can make him shorter, but it's not like we're going to be fighting indoors anyway. Also there are trees over three times that size. Redwoods, to be specific, and Sylvan is supposed to be based on the Eldritch equivalent of them.
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Yes, he's very tall, yes he's genetically fused to a tree...-ish...
My point is, I think a 100-foot ent towers over most Mechs, period. Well, except some of the Gurren Lagann ones, but that's Gurren Lagann. Never mind our Mechs, who top out at about 65-70ish.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousEVAs, Gunbuster, and the Megazord are all taller than him, off the top of my head. There's probably a lot of others. Hell, the original Kaiju is 100 METERS (328 feet) tall. Our mechs and Kaijus are actually somewhat short, comparatively.
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?I've been influenced too much by The Humongous Mecha RP, methinks...
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousWe could all make ours bigger.
Mine is based off of Pacific Rim, where 200 meters is a common thing.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseGood Lord, I need to redesign...
New average on both sides is going to be determined, but I think 75-100 range average sounds right, yes?
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousThat's not much bigger than it was already.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI was at 50 avg. last time.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousThat's only 75% more.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseLike I said, still reconsidering.
150, maybe?
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousI think that sounds good, but I want to hear what other people have to say, as well.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseGigginox-zilla will be able to devour an entire house in one bite, then...
That would be freaking terrifying. ._.
Let's let events play out as they will. What happens in WAOA stays in WAOA.\*cough*
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI'm good with any size really.
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?
The reason we're fighting the humans is because they're invading and trying to wipe us out.
There's not really any point in having a personal beef with them.
It's like that girl from Sharknado having a personal vendetta against sharks when sharks were raining from the skies and eating people. It's just kind of over-the-top.
