Your jetpack ran out?! I'll come get you, hold on!
I got the character page up.
Janey Springs looks really familiar.
We ever figure out who Tina's parents were?
Oh really when?Lot of speculation that Krieg was one of them, but nothing official.
My theory: Tina's dad was black. Thus her periodic blackcent and devotion to Roland's memory in the Dragon's Keep DLC.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117OK, if I pick this game up (and that's an if) Wilhelm will be my guy. Doesn't seem to be an official sniper in the game, but his little bots remind me of Gaige and Deathtrap.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117I'm split between Athena and Wilhelm.
Oh really when?Looks like I'll be going primary in Phalanx and secondary in Ceraunic Storm, using the Aspis as a defensive ability.
Will be quite different from the Siren playstyles that I normally roll with.
I'm more interested in knowing if they made the game more interesting in the meantime, I found Borderlands 2 quite boring. between the Loot and the bosses that swung from tedious to utter bullshit
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Well if Janey has the same voice as Tina's mother from the Echo recording, then the fan theories will have fuel to go by. People thought Krieg might be her father, but that was officially debunked.
Examples?
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Athena and Wilheim are looking fun, but Nisha just looks Boring, but Practical, and Claptrap is a Joke Character. Maybe a Lethal Joke Character, but still.
Athena looks sick. I'm totally gonna play her when the GOTY edition comes out.
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."So I'm playing with the skill tree builder thing.
Is it just me or are there fewer things to put skill points into this time around? Like quite a lot fewer.
Also if I read this right the level caps at 50 and at level 3 you get your ability.
Oh really when?Well, it's probably fewer in that there are more Gamechanger skills that use only one point rather than just a mid-level and a capstone Gamechanger (or Anarchy in the case of Gaige).
From what I can tell of the skill trees, they're trying to focus more on giving players weird and wacky skills rather than simply +30% better at stuff skills.
Ah, that's a bit of a bummer actually. I like the plus 30% stuff to skills more than kill skills and so on.
At any rate, we're 12 days to launch, everyone properly hyped?
Oh really when?WAIT IT'S ONLY 12 DAYS!?
I comes out October 14th, yeah.
17th in Europe I think.
Oh really when? The skill trees do have a lot less, because the levels do cap at 50. They always do, then add-on packs give more. And yes, you first get your action skill at level 3, and your first skill point at level 4. The problem I have with skill trees (especially kinda weird ones like Borderlands) is that it's hard to see what exactly the points really mean unless you actually use them. Luckily, Borderlands lets you respecc at any time for only minor cost.
Borderlands 2 started off at level 50 but never saw an increase in skills on the trees when they expanded the levels. By the time level 72 rolled around, there were enough skill points to get two end-of-tree skills and fill out pretty much all the skills that actually matter. Without those... lesser skills, when level 72 roles around for this game, pretty much every skill will be filled, not leaving much in the way of customization.
If level 72 rolls around for this game.
What's the word on DLC for this game anyway? We know of anything for sure? Extra vault hunters or something?
I know I got access to some arena for pre ordering it.
Oh really when?we know they're more than likely going to create the Doppleganger character so players can play as Jack.
Hmm, as I first thought. Wilhelm and Athena are going to be the two I like this time around.
So be it, I'm ready to go to the moon!
Oh really when?
