Does that mean Doom wont be played by Patrick Warburton?
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsDoom will be played by a different person in every scene.

Welcome to th:|Can we have a scene where there are 50 Doombots all in the same room plotting different ways to destroy Reed Richards who are completely oblivious to each others' presence?
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsWell, someone's a fan of Divekick.
Which reminds me of another point - if they make Doom a woman, does that mean we have to worry about Johnny Storm trying to hit on her?
Or worse - Doom using Johnny's nature against him by seducing him as part of her evil plot?
Which, again, implies they're planning on playing Doom the same way regardless, which is absolutely the worst way to go about doing it if they really feel a need to go through with this ridiculous idea.
I'm sorry, why is Doom having a vagina instead of a cock a "ridiculous idea"?
You literally have to change nothing about the character.
I mean, it might be unnecessary, but not "ridiculous".

The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.I think we had that discussion on the previous page.
Yeah, I agree that there's nothing wrong with a Lady Doom. The only real problems that might arise are more about how Hollywood treats women, not because being a dude is central to Doom's character.
In other news, it appears confirmed that Annihilus is going to be the main villain, and Mark Millar compared the film to Alien.
Also, I read somewhere that the movie will be titled "Fantastic Four in the Negative Zone". I like the comic book-y quality of it, but I can't find a proper source.
Also also: what do you guys think about the fact that this will be set in the same universe as the X-Men films?

...
Are you kidding on that last one? Please tell me you're kidding.
Hey. If a female actor can do for Doom what Elba did for Heimdall and blow Mcmahon's portrayal retroactively out of existence, then I'll probably pipe down

That is such a stupid title. I don't see this ending well at all.
It's been known since the project start that the Fantastic Four reboot will happen in the X-Men universe.
Curiosity and surprise will probably put butts in seats. And the inevitable controversy will lead to free advertising.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)Shame. Would be cool to see more female villains.
(V)(;,,;)(V)@Geth: i remember how Deathstrike mopped the floor with Wolverine in X2.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Yea, we need more like her! Well, till the whole "Get your body filled with a liquid metal" thing.
(V)(;,,;)(V)TBH, if Lady Doom ended up being poorly written, you get the whole "Bitches be crazy" vibe that Oz The Great And Powerful gave off.
There's also the fact that if Doom was a woman they'd have to change her dynamic with Sue and Reed. Either she becomes the evil lesbian that tries to steal Sue away, she goes after Reed instead which doesn't seem like a good idea to me, or they drop that plot point. The last one is doable but I'd prefer if they kept it.
Or they just have her try to break them up because Doom doesn't want Reed to be happy. Seriously, why is it always coming to a relationship thing? There are many different motivations .
(V)(;,,;)(V)I can't see how they'd have her do that without some kind of romantic or jealous overtones.
Okay, I just got on here and I'm very confused.
Why are they making Doom a woman?
That's like making Magneto a woman. Or Wonder Woman a man.
It makes no sense.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else
...if Doom is played by a woman... does that mean we can't cast James Earl Jones as the voice?
