Welp, The Flash is back to doing dull, gloomy episodes again. And, I gotta say, if this really is permanent, that's a hell of a lame way to kill off Caitlin.
I'm still surprised they didn't just do a Split-Personality Merge seasons ago - it's not like that isn't a plot that isn't dramatic plot point too. The whole Caitlin / Frost / and now Snow situation has just became more and more of a mess as seasons go by.
On the flipside, it looks like they might genuinely be building up The Rogues this time, so there is that.

I think it's cuz they wanted Killer Frost to stay a morally ambiguous character like thr comics without losing Caitlin as a main character.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
That probably was the initial idea, but Frost quickly ended up becoming an almost entirely heroic Bad Butt anyway.
Plus instead of using both they started doing stuff like having Caitlin conspicuously leave the story because Frost is here for a while, or vice versa.

Apparently they weren't sure they could get Panabaker back for the final season which is why they wrote the whole Khione thing this way to introduce a replacement character.

The character pages surrounding the Arrowverse (and other live action DC properties) are going to need some real cleanup eventually.
After just spending the last twenty minutes cleaning groundless additions of Alternate Self from the Batman 66 page, and remembering a lot of that stems from over eager additions after the Crisis event of the Arrowverse, it suddenly hit me how titanic a job that's probably going to be.

I used to be one of the main contributors to the Arrowverse pages, but after last year or so..... I lost my interest.
Superman & Lois now being set on a different Earth didn't help matters.
All in all, there is a lot of outdated stuff in there now, and it keeps piling up.....
