I still find it amusing that Johns and DC keep pushing Barry and Hal as these uncomparable titans and the greatest heroes ever, when most people outside of fans of the TV shows couldn't care less. It doesn't help that both their successors and predecessors are more interesting and fleshed out than they ever were, which is a helluva accomplishment.

YMMV on the idea of no one caring about them.

Of course Hal (or anything GL related for that matter) hasn't appeared in the Arrowverse yet. So that means he got the short end of the stick (though I liked Kyle, Simon and Jessica better than him anyway)

Actually I recall that a GL TV show is in the works.

Both a GL movie and a GL TV show are in the works, but haven't come out yet. There also was a GL cartoon, but that was cancelled after one season (even though I heard it was really good). So, really, most people either know about Green Lantern from:

1. The Ryan Reynolds movie, which bombed.
2. The Justice League cartoon, which was John Stewart.

I don't get why DC claims the New Gods exist outside the multiverse and there's only one Darkseid when they blatantly ignore it for the sake of what ifs and Elseworld stories

Have they said that there's only one Darkseid? Because we've seen AU Darkseids before. I know there is a version of the New Gods that exist above the Multiverse, but that doesn't mean that there are only one version of them.

there are one versions outside the multiversal spheres the ones in all the alternate universes are just splinters

So how do you explain varying depictions of Apokolips and New Genesis themselves?

Because mortals can't perceive the ACTUAL New Genesis or Apokolips, so whatever we're shown is just someone's impression of those places.

An article that got taken down mentioned a possible crossover between DC and Marvel.

spoilers in this postit was just a glimpse of manhattan seeing the future of the metaverse with 2020 having gods mess with the hypertime, and 2026 being 5g and a rejuvinated superman, and 2030 being thor and a green behemoth invading in a secret crisis leading to another moving of supermans origin and there is superman landing in 2030's and 2060's and his story will keep being updated and moved further throughout the metaverse because superman is the bridge between the old guard and the new wave of heroes.

i feel like the ending of 12 would have had more impact if it came out months ago when it should have
