Should've been called "Joss's Memes".
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"To be fair, it's been established that the Alliance were the good guys with some Well-Intentioned Extremist, and were justified fighting the Outer worlds aka the Brown coats since the latter worlds lack law and order and were pretty bad (eg.sexism, slavery, crime). The main protagonist is just a bitter Brown coats veteran that couldn't accept that his side lost the war and hated that the outerworld leaders accepted surrendering to the Alliance to remain in power rather than fight to the bitter end.

Nah, what makes it dangerous is that the game itself is actually good. But then it tries to steal your wallet.
It doesn't sound good.
It's a shame about the Gacha, if it didn't have that awful nonsense I could easily imagine having lots of fun with the gameplay.
Oh well.

"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnWhy is it so slow looking though.
Eitherway, seems the FTP and Gatcha mechanics cripple whatever potential this has, so meh. Skip.
I feel like anyone who's playing the game is doing so because they don't have a Switch and want to play Breath of the Wild, or beat BOTW and want something similar, hence diving into the FTP/Gatcha trap.
Don't forget the waifus

"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnDefinitely the waifus.
Maybe lucky and/or unlucky that both my laptop and phone couldn't run this game since I currently playing Girls Frontline, Arknights and Illusion Connect.
I don’t even find the waifus here that appealing.
They look very generic & plain, real basic-ass stuff.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The more Murican, more popular answer to the Da Vinci Code, National Treasure.
And on the game side, Amnesia: Rebirth.
Bit late for Halloween, but here’s the Evil Dead series -

Huh ya know I feel like they complain about the games being more hard than they actually are.
Now don't get me wrong, its a hard game. But I feel lines like "Everyone finally admits Crash was never good" are rather overblown.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, Honest Game Trailers have gotten meaner and try to make stuff up like the Crash Bandicoot games were bad even though they were actually good and popular during the Play Station 1 era (Also a lot comments in the Honest Game Trailer for CB 4 is telling the narrator to say "I was wrong about Crash Bandicoot and I apologise.")
I suspect some of the original writers for HGT didn't return after Smosh Games went under before they got back again when reformed into Fandom Games.
The one actually writing the texts seems to have stayed, since I can still recognize their style under the new announcer. It's very notable, especially in earlier reviews for the new guy, since the text doesn't quite fit his own style.
Optimism is a duty. They have credits in the description. You can see who wrote each episode.
Theres always been multiple writers, not always the same ones on each episode, and some of them work on the regular honest trailer.
This week's writers were Max Song, Andrew Bird, and Spencer Gilbert. All three of them have worked since the smosh days (They did the Asscreed trailer for example)

Huh well I guess they still won't review Batman: Arkham Origins then.
Seriously it may not be the best game, but their constant lambasting of it while refusing to actually do it just comes across as petty.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The Fox Men make one last bad film and suffer one last Honest Trailer as the franchise is laid to rest, it’s The New Mutants.
Fun fact: that “Native American proverb” traces back to Billy Graham in the 70s, who would change what tribe he allegedly heard it from.

The newest Watch_Dogs look awful and aimless.
I can't imagine why Josh ever thought equating the heroes with the confederates was a good idea!
