Besides Morty basically blew her off earlier this season. She wanted to go skinny dipping but the crystal said otherwise.

Jessica is pretty much a multiversesal constant for Morty.

In the Morty school on the citadel everyone’s lockers were filled with a picture of Jessica.

He did that because he thought blowing her off would be a better way to eventually live out his days with her, though. That was very much not a case of him not wanting her.

Sure, but he came across as an ass. He made an assumption about what was happening in the future the crystal showed him.

Which led to him being unable to actually work on a relationship. No wonder that future didn't involve them getting together.

Correct, Jessica is a very understanding person.

• Jessica ignores him and of the four times she didn't
  • he had to drug her and then it caused an apocalyptic event
  • she and Rick went to restore Morty's toxicity after which she ignored him
  • Tiny Rick was the catalyst
  • the crystal prevented him from going skinny-dipping with her
• I suppose he did start a relationship with that woman who fell into Toxic Rick's trap
• The girl from the Purge episode outright friend-zoned him and tried to kill him

His luck with women is terrible.

Morty's a fourteen/fifteen-year old, wimpy-looking, nerdy kid. The fact that he's scored with any hot women at all probably puts him above average in matters of romance.

There's also the implication that he slept with some mermaids in that one episode.

I have always wondered what Rick was like before his experiences with the infinite cold multiverse beat him into the nihilistic jackass we see today. Maybe he was like Morty(but smarter, obvs) and that's why he rags on him but also seems fond of him in a weird way. I kind of wonder if Rick had a Rick-like figure of his own and in true Troubled Abuser fashion there's a cycle to this

He also literally attracted a bunch of redheads once.

The women from his dog's incepted dream don't count; they're just thoughts. Also, as Roy, he married his high school sweetheart.

Finally caught up with season 3 after holding it off for too long.

Was anyone surprised about how chill the President apparently was about making contact with a micro-civilization in his birthday suit?

Because I was like "they didn't bother making a small suit for him?"

Or maybe he didn't really care so long as he could rub it in Rick's face that he made first contact before him?

Morty slept with some vampires in the comics.

Okay, first:

Second: I notice how much less control Rick has in this situation compared to... well just about every situation in Season 4 sans the magic dragon episode. He even commends Morty at one point for using the gravity shoes to flee.

I wonder if the writers themselves intended that or if this was just Early-Installment Weirdness.

Yeah I honestly miss Rick being more vulnerable, it adds much more suspense to challenges than his current status of being even more prepared for anything than Batman.

Or maybe it's because Rick was so drunk at the spaceport that he wasn't able to operate at his full potential that day.

Actually Rick has been extremly vunerable for the majority of season 4's episodes.

The Wasp episode mentally strained him over how many times he got killed & the Tony episode ended with nothing going his way.

The heist episode was the only one where he was in control & that was only due to the twist ending.

Granted it's hard to call him vulnerable when the first episode of the new season established that he simply cannot die now.

Not being able to die isn't something to be happy about if there are fates worse than death.

Like being stuck as a pickle.

Also: he's often suicidal, so from his perspective having resurrective immortality is not so great.
