-Alex finally reaches Archer, and with his good arm throws a supersonic, building-busting punch at the Servant's face-

"Let's take this fight to hell with us."

With an imitation of Ausar the Vile's technique, Archer swiftly sidesteps, dodging the punch. The shockwave from the impact is absorbed by Jack's shield, which fizzles out.

So, as I pray...

He dismisses the Infinity Blade, then smirks at the monster.

Unlimited Blade Works.

A ring of heatless fire expands from his body, and all the combatants are pulled into Archer's Reality Marble. Now in the landscape of swords, Archer begins to levitate dozens of Noble Phantasms around the ensemble...

   (glances around the new landscape) Yeah, count me out of that one. It's getting too melodramatic for my tastes.(portals out)

-Alex gazes up at the myriad swords. His remaining arm recedes to normal, as his other seems to have stopped healing. He needed biomass, badly, but there was no one to consume. Growling and realizing he's reached the endgame, he grips his shoulder with his one remaining arm, and the black tendrils swarm again, this time covering nearly his entire body-

"You think you're the only one with a finishing move?"

-He had only one shot. It was pure adrenaline that enabled him to do this. He pulled all of his biomass into his center, building up pressure. And then, barely whispering...-

"Tendril Barrage."

-Black tentacles strong enough to destroy tanks in one hit shot out fifty feet in all directions, seeking to impale all of his foes in one go.-

Archer sees the attack coming. He calls upon his strongest shield to protect himself.

Rho Aias!

As the large Shield of No Loss tanks the damage from the tendrils, its petals cracking, Archer sends at least sixty blades down on Mercer's form. Meanwhile, he begins to worry a little about Jack...

Jack looks around, confused. "Well, guys..." He whispers to himself. "We may have just found the next Vault."

He didn't notice the Tentacle Barrage, but his Protection Surveyor absorbed the damage.

Meanwhile, a seemingly pointless heap of rock at the edge of Whiterun, disturbed by the chaos of the battle, suddenly stirs.

The heap of rock stirs, and two blue, almost mechanical eyes, blink into life, staring, unblinking, at the battle.

-The thing that calls itself Alex Mercer looked up to see a glowing shield in front of Archer. It is the last thing he will ever see.-

"Damn it all."

-The swords close in on him, and he hears the voices of a thousand dead men sigh in peace at what is about to happen. When the dust settles, all that is left of the Monster of Manhattan is a writhing black stain on the ground, slowly fading away.-

GG, everyone. You have successfully prevented Prototype 2 from happening. That's all folks!

Oh for the love of god, I do not have the energy for this.

Extremely tired from his overuse of magic, Archer allows the World to crush his Reality Marble; everyone is (safely) returned to Whiterun. He turns to Jack, but doesn't say anything; he can tell that Jack wants to fight him.

Since he's in no shape to fight, Archer decides to leave, phasing into spirit form.

Sorry, Hobo Tortle, but I don't have the energy, either. That was a fun fight. See ya around.

The large heap of rock slowly shudders, and falls still, its eyes dimming, as it returned to its long slumber.

Darn it. I missed what looked like a real cool fight. Oh well, I can wait.

"...Aw, hell... Oi!" Jack yells to the Drop Barge's pilot. "Ring up Blake! I wanna find that jackass ASAP!"

Jack climbs into the Drop Barge, and it takes off. This would be the last Whiterun would see of Jack... for a few hours, anyways.

Added an Awesome entry for this, but I don't get a few of the references. Can someone link a few things for me?

In this case, though, yeah; Alex isn't really big enough to prohibit as long as he doesn't have his endgame abilities (I assume; never played Prototype myself), but Kage cut it pretty close. As he said, though, he was getting teamed-upon.

I really should reenter this myself soon. Thing is, I have DND tomorrow; maybe tomorrow or Thursday or something.

Knowless, is Basaran ok to use? He's big, but not OP at all. The only decent weapon he has is his electro-bolts but I like a challenge. On that note, is using Colossi in general all right?

:/ Is it one of the smaller ones? Say, two stories tall or less?

Very, very large, regrettably, several stories tall. But on the other hand, he's very damn slow and far from being OP. If you're looking for OP, then that'd be Malus.

EDIT: He couldn't fit into Whiterun without sitting on three houses, so I'm afraid that's gonna be a no.

I should also look at getting a new setting already, come to that.

(near Jorvaskr stands a peculiar ghastly-looking man◊, looking at the building)

(he seems... content for whatever reason)

(The blue-haired alchemist wanders around Whiterun. She spots the ghastly-looking man and looks confused.)

(glances in the direction of said alchemist) Hello there. I don't suppose you know which circle of Hell do we happen to be in right now?

(The alchemist finds the man strange. Why would they be be in Hell?)

Alchemist: @Man: Wait... Why would you say that?

...why, if I'm dead, wouldn't that make me a lost soul forever to be damned in infernal fla-ghrk!(suddenly clutches his head before dropping on one knee) ...no. How come is this still... a thing?(he seems noticeably pained)

(The alchemist looks very concerned for the man.)

Alchemist: @Man: Uhh.... What's going on?!

...(grits teeth and looks down on the ground as this thing◊ appears behind him, bending itself to some truly bizarre shapes)

(cue a sudden bolt of electricity coming Alchemist's way)

(The alchemist gets shocked by the electricity. The alchemist, known as Marcia, has decided to stop the spirit's rampage and end the man's misery. She tosses a few potions at the man. Who knows what will happen?)
