Kain, being within the range of impact, merely stares upon the destruction coming towards him with pride. He had a lot of fun, and he knew that his coming 'death' wouldn't be permanent. "Unto the breach!" In a few moments, his body is vaporized as well.

The Winter Soldier climbs down from the rooftop and approaches the wounded Alpha, then draws his pistol and aims it at her head before firing twice.

By the way Questor, if you noticed Kain's null field didn't protect him from a physical attack. So if your Knight chick somehow managed to pull free and recover her energies, she coulda just stabbed Kain down. Maybe.
Also is it just me or did she just think Kain was a simple robot with high tech?

Wounded, completely drained, Alpha is helpless...
...but then a portal of pink Instant Runes of the same style appears in front of her, and the new arrival angles her Device to deflect the bullets in the nick of time.
...you are fortunate indeed that my sister requires medical attention immediately.
She picks Alpha up in a fireman's carry, and forms a new portal.
Now you, on the other hand... nothing will spare you my wrath. After you are healed. Sister.
Alpha groans, but then her eyes close, and her face relaxes back into a serene smile.
Make no mistake, Alpha would have died from that attack, but I really wanted to do this, and I was gonna do it either way. Also, WS wasn't really part of that battle.

She's a cyborg. Has a plasma battery inside her chest to power her cybernetics. Because with that level of physical strength, there's no way she can use magic along with being able to easily fold a frying pan into a tortilla roll with her bare hands, so she was rendered unable to move with any speed or swiftness to get out of the way of his punch.
Also, there's shock and fatigue to consider. And yes, she only considered Kain a robot with very, very powerful tech since that's what her scan said.

Laura sits up, clutching her head in pain, while Raina stands up, shocked at all the destruction.

The two women look at each other awkwardly.
Eldren is still breathing, but his vital signs are currently very weak. He won't be able to do anything.
At the same time, a silhouette of something slips away into the light, and seems to be circling around the weakened Eldren.
The battle is coming.

The last thoughts in the Knightess' mind before she was annihilated were that of longing and regret as well as contentment and acceptance, reaching out as if to touch the now blinding visage of the comet; she meets her doom with a smile on her face.

And then she is vaporized by the blast.
