Hammond Robotics facility on an Alternate Earth. Or at least a simulacrum of it.

Hammond Robotics Facility? I have not heard of this place. Do the people here work for someone known as The Grandmaster?

Lloyd looks really confused by the whole situation.

It means a copy, boy. Well for one thing, this place is definitely not any kind of Earth; but rather some sort of pocket dimension that links to all known universes... At least that's what the eggheads call this place.

Feel free to make one of your guys annoyed at Lloyd's out-of-place-ness. He's not really the type of guy to attack without reason to, I don't think.

Hiryu wouldn't be really annoyed by Lloyd. As a Strider, he keeps his cool in situations like this, and doesn't let such things bother him.

We are all out of place here, as we seem to be each from a different world.

Well, my boss has been researching this place for over a month now; but the theory that holds the most ground is that this place is some sort of battle arena where anyone sent here is meant to fight for unknown reasons... But who cares about reasons? I'm here specifically for the fighting...

Neith just laughs in a seductive but extremely dangerous manner before she suddenly disappears in a blur of red and is suddenly right behind Lloyd, arms crossed over her belly.

Strong words from a human.

And then several portals open up behind the Red machine and each deposit what seem to be floating mines the size of soccerballs.

"Whoa!"

Lloyd turns around, pulling out two blades. One looks like flame given shape in steel, while the other looks cold as ice.

He sees the mines, and immediately a golden sphere of light surrounds him.

"Guardian!"

[Runes begin to appear all over the ground]

Neith quickly blocks the blade with a gravity barrier generated from the shield-like protrusions extending from her elbows all the way to her wrists.

Let's dance...

The floating mines then fly towards Hiryu and Lloyd, moving a little bit faster than an adult human briskly walking.

The mines going for Lloyd explode against the 'Guardian' shield. From out of the smoke, Lloyd shoots at Neith very quickly, sword first; green shock waves being thrown off of the blade.

"Sonic Thrust!"

[Neith will find herself stepping on one of the runes. Quickly, the spell takes effect — ice begins to form, hopefully freezing her feet to the ground]

-Strider Hiryu then uses his great speed to dodge the floating mines, then deploys two attack satellites called Option-A that begin firing disc-shaped laser shots at Neith-

Neith zips and dodges the return fire quite easily thanks to her Extreme speed before retaliating with a swarm of homing lasers from her hands aimed at all three of her aggressors, with the thickest concentration of beams focused on Aqua.

I wonder what kind of magic you've got!
