Finally watched new episode.

Liked the Charlie Brown reference.

But this episode felt more like a PSA than it did like an actual lesson learned

Well, that bit of fanon kind of got killed back when we found out the Apples have an entire closet just for storing spare hats for AJ and ribbons for AB.

So the Manehatten episode was cute.

But Friendship Games had me laughing. I loved Midnight Sparkle and her evil voice.

She looked way better than Sunset Satan...was that what they called her?

I also liked Sunset's new outfit. This was like a reversal of the first movie with Sunset reaching out to Twilight then.

And the ending with the sunset and the star...and then Princess Twilight popping in really late.

After a second watch, the new episode wasn't the best of Rarity month, but solid enough.

Bah, what? I thought this was live reactions and I watched it an hour after it aired.

Spoiler what.

Yeah, this was the weakest of the three Rarity eps. Just, nothing all that great besides the moral, and that one was hammered a bit to hard to really feel that great. It wasn't bad but, just kind of... meh. Third lowest ep of the season, or, no tied for second. Princess Spike was the worst, though still the best Spike ep. Then Appleloosa and this one. Same reason neither is bad, but neither is great either just two average eps.

Man, I still haven't seen the first EQG movie. I should finish my copy sometime so I can see the others.

Still haven't seen Friendship Games yet. I plan on watching it after Season 5 gets over.
