The Numbers War (Yu-Gi-Oh ZeXaL RP)

"Ah! Aya! Otlichno! Is great name!" Vlad said, "Is name of lake in Sevastopol, beautiful place. I guard missile system there when I was in Army! My name Vlad."

"Here you go."

Ichigo says as he passes cookies to the two. As he listened to Vlad talk, he was relieved by the fact that he seemed like a nice guy. His spoke weird, but he seems nice.

"No idea if anyone's here. Maybe we should try and draw them out, if there are people here to draw out, and set a trap for them?"

Aya blinks at Vlad.

"That's...nice. Well it's good to know that we got someone like you on our side."

She giggles a little then turns to Ichigo.

"So we set a trap? What would we bait it with? Our Numbers?"

You just had to suggest that, didn't you?

"Ah, is clever girl, Tovarishch Aya," Vlad said as he munched on the cookie. "Very sneaky. Sure you not Russian? But this is special case. We have Numbers, so anyone we set trap for knows we are here. And anyone try to ambush us, we feel Numbers and know they are coming."

Ichigo shook his head.

"We don't even need to go that far. If people even suspect that people are here, they will investigate. We could turn on the rollercoaster or find a boombox and turn it on. People will investigate, and we can hide and watch. If they don't have a Number, they won't know where we are, but if they do have a Number then we know where they are."

He shrugged.

"Or we could not do that and continue as we are. I'm just laying it out as an option, cause honestly, slowly looking through this abandoned carnival is pretty creepy and I would really like to know where people are."

Aya blinks again at Vlad.

"Um...I'm sure I'm not Russian."

She turns to Ichigo.

"So what now? What's the plan? Oh god I hope that other girl hasn't got into trouble. She went into the funhouse all on her own."

"She did? Dammit. Let's go after her then."

With that said he began walking toward the funhouse.

"Don't you know you never split the party?"

"Yes, is power in numbers," Vlad said, "Ha. Numbers. Is pun, is very funny.... Yes, if we are group, we must stick together. Aya, and other people with names, we must go into house of fun."

He looked at the others there, motioning towards all of the others that they should be following Ichigo.

Power in Numbers...

Aya follows Vlad and Ichigo into the funhouse, sticking close to Ichigo.

And Naoto followed them close behind, unwilling to get left behind and let those three go in there, with the possibility of something going wrong.

He just hoped that there wasn't what he knew there would be...

Duel Ghoul Clowns. Knowing their luck, there would most likely be evil clowns. Just hopefully none as bad as the infamous Mr. J.

"Hello, purple-hair girl, did you plan on going into house alone?," Vlad asked as he approached Anabella.

Mac sighed as he followed the group. He did know that they were right - if they didn't find Numbers quickly, then they'd be screwed, but at the same time rushing into what could be an obvious trap....there was no reason to be stupid.

"Well, are we walkin' into the trap or not? We gotta make a choice here, ya know."

Anabella stopped short in front of the entrance, and turned to face Vlad. "A house of mirrors would provide cover and shelter, an ideal place to hide. If you wish to come along, go ahead." She said as she turned around and walked on.

Like any half decent house of mirrors, the inside was covered in mirrors. Looking around, the party would see dozens of reflections of themselves. But they'd also see the vague outlines of their Numbers over their shoulders.

It seemed like the structure was far larger inside than it appeared on the outside in that a branching path appeared before them. Their choices were to continue walking in the direction they were heading, turn left, or turn back.

"Looks like only three ways to go," Vlad said, "And unless you are coward, only options are left and straight."

Naoto spoke of the way the place seemed, "I am willing to bet something supernatural is going on in here...way bigger on the inside than out."

Looking around, he shuddered a little, "All the same, Anabela's right. If we can, we should use this place."

Aya looks over at Noato.

"Or maybe it just looks that way because of all the mirrors? Y'know that's a more logical explanation. Or maybe part of it is underground. Anyways I think we should go straight."

Aya waits for someone to go on ahead of her.

"Supernatural?" Vlad said, "You want see supernatural, you do cleanup shift at Chernobyl. This is carnival. Is happy fun times."

Since no one else seemed to want to go ahead, Vlad was perfectly willing to, and he picked up the pace to head straight down the hallway.

Ichigo looked around and saw that no one else was going.

"Straight it is."

With that said, he began to walk forward slowly and cautiously.

"Why am I in the front again?"

He reached into the bag and shoved another sweet into his mouth to help calm his nerves.

Aya follows close behind Ichigo and Vlad, glancing this was and that at their reflections as they walked along.

"This place is 'happy fun times'? I'd h-hate to see what creepy is then."

"I can't imagine it get's much worse than this."

Ichigo said quietly.

It's interesting you would say that. You hear the sound of heavy footsteps coming from the way you entered the house of mirrors and rasped breathing. Dead giveaways that Duel Ghouls were afoot. It is possible that they do not know you are there but if you gamble and are wrong here, you'll be even more hard-pressed for time to find a way out.

Time to put your Numbers where your mouths are. What do you do?

Look out Vlad, Duel Ghouls, Force Focus's voice spoke to the Russian's head, But more importantly, if you turn to the right a little more I can get a better view of the broad with purple hair and-

"Duel ghouls?" Vlad said, curiously. "In Russia, zombies want to eat brains, not play games. Is most definitely happy fun times."

Oh. Oh my. More chumps to deal with.

"Duel, or try and run? I don't fancy trying to run away without a map."

"Lets continue on the path, see if there's a way around them."

Ichigo suggested in a low tone.
