It’s only a matter of time until he eventually does a full review on the Lion King remake. If he wants to be clever, he’d copy and paste his original Lion King review for this to comment on how it’s too similar.
I just hope he doesn't get into a full-blown meltdown over it like he did when he reviewed it as himself. It really is one of the better live action remakes.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.I remember the original trailer and ads that focused mostly on the "Catzilla" scenes, making the film seem like it was all a live action Tom & Jerry movie.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationDoug is planning to review this movie but wants to wait until it's safe to gather everyone at the studio, as his idea for the video involves getting the whole cast together. (Though he said that depending on how the situation evolved, he might just bite the bullet and shoot the review at his home. Cats, however, he definitely wants to review at the studio with everyone.)

Just a person. He/him.Mouse Hunt's year setting still feels strange to me. So is it 80's or early 90's?
Well, it's a Retro Universe, so dating it precisely is hard.
I missed the part where that's my problem.Ahh right, I forgot about that trope.
I wonder if they'll go back to clipless reviews and do them with clips, like Batman v Superman.
This time in Dark Toons, Doug talks about Invader Zim episode "Dark Harvest":
I thought he already covered this one, but then I realized Oh yeah, Saberspark covered this one first.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Very unlikely. I saw a list of stuff he won't review and one of them were things he already reviewed and that was it.
Yes, I have been waiting for him to look at "Invader Zim" for a long time.
Maybe he'll review Spongebob episodes Season 5-7. They're just like "Invader Zim" and "Courage The Cowardly Dog", only pointless and hateful.

Where'd this whole thing about "Dark Harvest" being the episode that got Zim cancelled come about? I've seen or heard others say that recently too.
Wasn't "Door to Door" the more controversial episode?
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationFWIW, Doug said during one of the streams that he was considering doing a Redux Month with longer and more in-detail reviews of stuff he first covered when he was on YT and had a 10-minute limit, like Batman and Robin or Street Fighter.
Just a person. He/him.Ah, so like when James Rolfe did "Nintendo Days Re-Visited" with AVGN.
Doug seriously needs to do a re-review of Space Jam, especially with a sequel in the works.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationHonestly, one of his more disappointing reviews was that of Last Action Hero, as he never acknowledged the movie was supposed to be a parody, and he generally approached it if it were just one of Schwartzenegger's standard action movies. Of course, properly reviewing that movie is difficult because it's a parody. Even he admits it's hard to review comedies because you can only say "That's not funny" so many times.
His Alita review was interesting because he tries to admit its flaws but the overall tone is otherwise worshipful. I adore that movie too and generally agreed with everything he said, though there is a lot more to talk about.

IIRC, Space Jam was one of the reviews he wanted to potentially re-do.
Just a person. He/him.Is one of the reason he feel disapointed with junior: for all the crazy premise, the movie seen to take seriously that it was just boring instead of crazy.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"So what are all the movies he plans to re-review?
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.I don't think there's an official list or something but IIRC, he mentioned Space Jam, Street Fighter, Batman and Robin, and the first Ninja Turtles movie as the candidates.
Just a person. He/him.With "Dark Harvest", I heard it was an example of Murder Simulators. I heard it on this website, but I can't find the exact page, so maybe it was just an inaccuracy that was deleted.

Did he even review the first TMNT movie properly? I thought it was just a lose video of the first three videos in a nutshell, and mostly going for "Nerd did it".
It'll be fun to see his Street Fighter and Batman and Robin re-reviews, since the memes from those are part of the reason he got famous.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.I imagine that's why Doug would like to cover this movie in more detail.
Oh, and as for The Lion King (2019), Rob said in the latest episode of Brad Ruins Rob's Day that it was one of the upcoming reviews.
Just a person. He/him.Something funny happened. I went back to Doug's Disneycember reviews on all the DCOMs that he did. And man does it show his age. I was the target age for allot of them when they came out. So I tended to talk about a lot of them with my friends at school and online. And allot of topics were braught up between us. None of which are braught up by Doug. Not that it makes the reviews bad, but I just found it interesting to get an outsiders point of view on something that is a really big part of my childhood.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup thread
Doug has mentioned before how he hated the Hakuna Matata song, so I imagine that's why he hated the joke.
I missed the part where that's my problem.
