So weve talked about the Weird/Dnowgrave route extensively, but did you know there is another route?

If you dont loosen Berdly correctly in the queen fight, Berdly can lose function in his right wing. This proves that injuries in the Dark World remain on return to the Light World.....which means yes, Berdly is dead in the Snowgrave route

Oh yeah, I knew about that! Really interesting tbh.

Although one thing I was wondering— if you go to the graveyard, it says there's a hammer buried symbolically in Gerson's grave, which would imply that monsters still turn to dust upon death, since there's no body. If that's the case, it seems like Berdly might not be dead, just...comatose or brain-dead, which is still pretty bad.

I think a this point that kris is probably a variant of chara since both since to share way to much point.

There is a dialogue with sans that pretty much tease he could be sooner of later.

Yeah, understale is probably the only fandom I see which such extensive multiverse that is enterely fan created.

I have thinking WHY sans is so popular and why genocide is the reason, there is another:

-For starter he is a genuly funny chararter so that help a lot.

-it also one of the "inocent chararter that is plot heavy latter on", you can said he is tobi/obito but good in that sense, given the fact he is also good means you can make him as goofy or serious as the plot need to be.

-Is skill set is also another issue: his space bending bullshit allow him to teleport to diferent part meaning he can be anywhere as the plot need him to be a sort of stage man in a theater, he is also a rare heroic chararter who use teleporting which is kinda weird, aside for that is other stuff like is telekinesis and gaster blaster which look really cool and is VERY flashy for undertale standars.

-Add to other point is also HOW he used it: his fight pretty much break other rules of not just RPG(which he ruthless violate) but also other series: he atack in middle of is dialogue, he doge several time, atack in middle of your menu and more, I feel a lot of sans fans are people who didnt play genoice(since the process is long, annoying and heart wretching) but saw it in youtube and let me tell you as visual process is a blast, like a anime fight), for many animators and comic reader, sans is the perfect chrarter to shine your skills.

And finally, the reason sans dosent seen a overpower chararter is probably because he is pit against ANOTHER overpower chararter,chara/the player, which with megalovania is sure it was going to be.

I think another reason is also the existence of multiverse, look how people barely care about neutral endings to the point they might well not exist, is ALL about pacfist/genocide and as result, it become more about sans and chara show because they are heavy tie to the "metaplot" as result.

So in conclusion: I feel the issue is sans is a good chararter....probably TOO good, he is so damn versatile and cool and toby probably overdid a little bit, is intersting he have being reduce to a very minor role to deltarune, he probably want to rest the chararter a little bit and is for the best.

I believe both in the Dark World and in Hometown, Berdly is Fallen Down. The state the monsters Alphys worked with were in before before the injections. Normally being Fallen Down is an absolute death sentence. So de-facto Berdly is a dead bird "sleeping".

Megalovania slapped before it was murdered by overuse, so that helped.

From the AU talk earlier, now I feel would be an OK time to link the TCC part list.

I was so into niche fandoms back when I was a kid, I knew Megalovania from the Halloween hack, and recognized Toby Fox as Radiation.

Berdly could be Fallen Down, yeah, but DR is, like it or not, unrelated to UT by and large, so maybe monster deaths and corpses work differently in this. Fallen Down was related to sickness anyway, wasn't it?

IIRC Alvin mentioned that his dad's hammer is buried in his grave, implying the dust thing still applies.

Or it was just buried along his corpse.

Remember monsters are implied to be able to use determination like humans can.

More than implied; remember Undyne the Undying? Though Deltarune kinda implies that monsters are better at it in this universe, since Queen thought Noelle was her best bet for opening more Dark Fountains, despite Noelle being a monster. It also kinda implies that darkners don't have determination, or at least, even less than monsters.

Today, on more Developer's Foresight, the Snow Ring has unique reactions if you try to put it on the other party members: Ralsei will ask if you're proposing, and Susie comments that it smells of Noelle.

I'd marry Ralsei if he was of age.

It's a pretty well known trick righ tnow but man I wish I knew it earlier. Still it only took me 2 tries to beat Spamton. And honestly I find him more memorable than Jevil.

It helps that Spamton has much more story relevance than Jevil ever did.

They're both great imo.

Though . .I think Jevil's definently going to return. I mean, look at the ending of his fight and tell me otherwise.

It helps that while Jevil's antics are just the usual kind of wacky jester Mad Clown antics, Spamton uses the power of [Hot Singles In Your Area] crossed with [Express VPN] and [$!$!]ing phone calls to shoot eggs and his own heads at you.

I want to get back into this game but I feel like I have to go back and replay ch1 to get a refresher. Plus you can carry over your old save file. And I keep on hearing about this secret route but I cannot find a guide talking about it without running into spoilers so its all a bit overwhelming

I recommend trying out chapter 2 without worrying about any secrets and just enjoy.

I imagine the secret route has more impact if you play the regular route first anyway. And your next playthrough you don't need to worry AS MUCH about spoilers.
