Sounds good to me.
Okay. Thanks guys.
Well, I suppose I may as well bite the bullet and say that I'm interested in playing a character. While I do not have an avatar as of YET...I do have a character that I can throw into the mix.
Let's see, he's a morally ambigious doctor, who's main shtick is DNA manipulation, creating diseases and afflictions and generally seeing people as guinea pigs and interesting to observe what their bodies go through in terms of being afflicted, charges them a ludicrous sum for a cure since they don't know he's behind it, rinse, repeat.
Of course, there's some obvious lines he doesn't cross, so...yeah. Um, I can give more details if need be...?
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day. What kind of lines does he not cross, exactly?
Cause keep in mind, we're aiming for mostly "Saturday Morning" levels of villainy here, although there's room for other sorts if they're interesting enough.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Hmm...I could try and play Lord Von Prong from Death Spank.
So, how fast does this RP go anyway? Is it as fast as WAOA (while I was still on it), or does it go a bit slower?
"Stealing is a crime and drugs is a crime too BUT if you steal drugs the two crimes cancel out and it’s like basically doing a good."Details?
Generally slower, since it's still starting out.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)On second thought, nah. Stupid idea. Disregard.
Ah, okay.
I'm thinking of either playing a Phyrexian from the Machine Orthodoxy, or Bronn from Game of Thrones— if I decide to join.
Or maybe just reprise my role as Caim in WAOA.

"Stealing is a crime and drugs is a crime too BUT if you steal drugs the two crimes cancel out and it’s like basically doing a good."So, what kind of villain should I be going for here?
Nothing grounded outside of "No random kill-happy murderers" and "No reality warpers capable of solving all their problems easily". Mostly "Saturday Morning Cartoon" kinds, but considering how permissive we generally are, if you can sell the concept well, we'll probably let it in.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)I could possibly do Shanath from Baten Kaitos Origins.

Details, good sir, already on a good start with the Baten Kaitos mention.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)The ultimate Smug Snake. He'll take orders from superiors, but isn't above "interpreting" them to suit his goals. He's also...kind of a psycho under his calm exterior, though he won't go around killing for no reason. He is, however, very evil. You know those wings people in Sagi's world have? He regularly ordered his soldiers to tear people's wings out.
Works for me, I suppose.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Oh, and he kind of has a weapon called a "machina arma" that takes the form of a bladed, winged mechanical exoskeleton with claws.
Think it'll be ok.
Sorry, sorry. Was at work and pre-occupied before I could reply.
Anyway, general morality applies, making sure his diseases/mutations/afflications don't effect children, either lies or is outright honest to the point people don't believe his threats/claims and is generally isn't a jerk unless it has some purpose.
...Hm.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Alright, your in.
Alrighty then~! I'll get to working on finding a suitable avatar and I'll join in tomorrow~
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Actually, I kinda changed my mind. I'm thinking of playing Kharn the Betrayer from Warhammer 40,000. The fanon one, where he's a heck of a guy. Not the canon one, where he's too Ax-Crazy for this group.
"Stealing is a crime and drugs is a crime too BUT if you steal drugs the two crimes cancel out and it’s like basically doing a good."Personality, Ok but.....
....how powerful we're talking about?
He's Kharn the Betrayer.
He's built like a brickhouse, he can rip a guy in half with his bare hands and make fifty guidance counselors implode with a single tantrum.
So, fairly high up there, but proooooooobably within reason, since he's only a Champion of Chaos still.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)would it be okay to bring in a hero antagonist?
I have this insane idea to bring in some of the characters I created for my school newspaper years ago as annoyances for our group of villians
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."
No problem here.
