I think I'm going to stay hands-off after making such a colossal mess of it before.

I guess I'll wait and see how other people sign up before I make a final decision. Are the G Ms going to be reprising their characters from S3?

My apologies for the epically massive sign-up there. Hopefully everything's still in order!

Our old characters will still be around, but they're not going to be the ones we're mainly playing. They'll mostly be around for information purposes.

Kiri's going to be playing the Tactician from Fire Emblem Blazing Sword, Mal's going to be playing Max Payne, I think, and I'm going to be playing Gilgamesh from Final Fantasy.

Max Payne? Nice.

Is there a list anywhere of characters that are being used/have been used? I don't want to tread on toes, cause awkwardness, or play as someone from the same universe as another character without advance warning.

For reference, I'm considering Fuuka Yamagishi.

Funnily enough, X1 Kyriaki played her for a bit in S3... but then she disappeared, so I'd say she's fair game by this point. That and it was the Fem!MC version.

There isn't one, but that's a good idea. We'll get to working on that sometime soon. In the meantime, though, there shouldn't be any problems with you playing as Fuuka.

And yeah, I think Fuuka was around for about four posts back then, but I think we retconned her out after Kyriaki dropped out.

Depends on the duo. We generally don't want people playing more than one character at once, since if a lot of people do that, combat tends to slow to a crawl, but on a limited scale, it's probably okay. Sorry for not answering your question in the sign-up thread, but I saw you edit it out, so I assumed someone P Med you the answer already. I think the example you gave there was Ice Climbers, and someone like them would be fine.

's okay. I had an idea of playing as a Weapon/Meister team from Soul Eater, but I didn't think that duos would count as a character.

Ah, awesome. From what I remember of Soul Eater, those two should be fine. Just post a sheet, and we'll take a look at it.

Nigel, I was also thinking of signing up as a Soul Eater duo, but I was considering Black Star and Tsubaki...

However, instead of having two duos from the same franchise, what if one of us plays each character?
