I wonder what if Blizz made Lazul remove the chosen card from opponents hand? Too op?

Way too OP. It'd basically be an almost garanteed win again any combo deck, which combo decks cannot play around. And at 3 mana you could even combine it with cheap bounce to guarantee you cripple a combo.

3 mana 3/2 draw the best out of three of your opponent's cards and deny them the same card? That would be insane card advantage and on a completely different level to any other hand hate effect we've received.

It'd probably be too good even if all it did was discard the card from your opponent's hand. Then it's essentially a Thoughtseize effect with a body.

(Granted, in Magic, Thoughtseize at 3 mana is a lot worse than at 1, but if it came with a creature attached, it might be used. And Hearthstone cards tend to get away with higher mana costs than in Magic, due to how the game works.)

Just got 500 wins with Warlock. When I got 500 with Priest, Warlock was my least played class. How much have two cards(Quest; Cataclysm) changed that.

• EVIL Cable Rat - Common Neutral Minion; 2 mana 1/1 Beast; Battlecry: Add a Lackey to your hand.
• Dr. Boom's Scheme - Common Warrior Spell; 4 mana; Gain 1 Armor. (Upgrades each turn!)
  • Seems there isn't any cap on Schemes beyond physical ones (which makes Rafaam's Scheme feel that much worse, honestly).
    • ...Improve Morale doesn't work, so... small indie company, folks.
    • Omega Devastator confirmed to be the only Omega card of the expansion. Presumably the same is true of Forbidden Word and other returning gimmicks.
• Blastmaster Boom - Legendary Warrior Legendary; 7 mana 7/7; Battlecry: Summon two 1/1 Boom Bots for each Bomb in your opponent's deck.
  • Ah, nothing like Legendaries forcing you to play very specific cards. Neat stuff.
• Wrenchcalibur - Epic Warrior Weapon; 4 mana 3/2; After your hero attacks, shuffle a Bomb into your opponent's deck.
• Heistbaron Toggwaggle - Legendary Rogue Minion; 6 mana 5/5; Battlecry: If you control a Lackey, choose a fantastic treasure.
  • The treasures are the same selection as the one off Marin the Fox.
• Hench-Clan Burglar - Common Rogue Minion; 4 mana 4/3 Pirate; Battlecry: Discover a Spell from another class.
  • It's any non-Rogue spell.
    • In fact, no Lackey-generating cards work, period. Good stuff, Blizzard.
    • The entire stream is buggy as hell. Shame on you, Blizzard.
• Unidentified Contract - Epic Rogue Spell; 6 mana; Destroy a minion. Gains a bonus effect in your hand.
  • Turncoat Contract - Destroy a minion. Deal its damage to adjacent minions.
  • Recruitment Contract - Destroy a minion. Add a copy of it to your hand.
  • Assassin Contract - Destroy a minion. Summon a 1/1 Patient Assassin with Stealth and Poisonous.
  • Lucrative Contract - Destroy a minion. Add two Coins to your hand.
• Traveling Healer - Common Neutral Minion; 4 mana 3/2; Divine Shield; Battlecry: Restore 3 Health.
• Khadgar - Legendary Mage Minion; 2 mana 2/2; Your cards that summon minions summon twice as many.
  • Apparently two Khadgars stack.

I am definitely going to play a warrior in wild and stuff my deck with "Add bombs to your opponent's deck".

This is looking like a powerful set so far. Or maybe they're showcasing all the four and five star cards first.

So it looks like we'll have two legendaries per class this expansion?

Also what happens if you play Khadgar while you are yourself playing as Khadgar.

Not that I have Khadgar, mind you.

Cards usually react to the opposing hero anyway (See Illidan, Cairn, Brann).

And honestly IIRC cards with alternate quotes have been rarer and rarer lately. Presumably because a lot of heroes aren't on sale anymore.

It's a shame. It was a nice little bit of fluff to hear an unexpected voice line. Just Illidan could have those with so many people outside of just Malfurion.

Khadgar, Liadrin, Lunara and Alleria as defenders of Dalaran!

Dr. Boom's Scheme honestly makes Rafaam's look good.

Other cards seem viable, although I dislike Blastmaster Boom as the kind of card you have to explicitly build around (in a sense that it is useless if you don't play a metric of Bomb cards)

Thankfully it shouldn't be too hard to put a lot of bombs in an enemy deck. In wild, you can have five cards in your deck sending bombs, and some of them are cheap enough that you could jump them back in your hand and play them again (although not as well as rogues can).And just with a single bomb, he's as strong as the first Dr. Boom was.

...was this supposed to be a Common or Uncommon Mage minion?

Oh mage is getting a pretty shitty legendary.

So far, Mage is the one class where every hero is a legendary.

I see that they're following up on the "Mage is a minion class" theme from Witchwood.
