Trailer 3 introduced machines, debuted Blake and showed off the first male character.
I think Yellow will be another music video. She doesn't strike me as the type to work with someone else, though we could see her in a one-on-one fight with another male character.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Just watched Black.
I was actually surprised to hear a voice acting. Hmm.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Hmm... I'm thinking that the 'Yellow' trailer will be a 'proper' trailer, for the series itself, though with a noticeable focus on Yellow. Why?
We went from 'animation test/music video' to 'music video delving into character' to 'actual scene involving character interaction and sort-of plot'.
It just seems to me that the obvious final step before the premier in July is a trailer that sets the basic premise of the show. o_O;
Yellow will air on June 1st.
Can't wait!
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Huh. And I had thought that they intended to air Black & Yellow closer together than that.
I wonder why there's no Blue or Green.
Maybe they'll be male characters? It is set in an Extranormal Institute.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. The colors are brought by the characters, not the other way around. Ruby, Weiss and Blake are all based on fairy tales and they embody certain traits. Color is one of them. Given the color pallet Monty is using, I can say the ladies are almost literally painting the world as it's being created. They are the ones giving shape to what's around them. And that's awesome.
Bleye knows Sabers. So, if you listen to the theme songs for Weiss and Blake (especially Blake) they seem to say an awful lot about the plotlines of those characters, or at least the backstory.
Poor Blake, sufferin' from ye old Fantastic Racism
I was wondering why there was no Blue just now.
Well, I found him on the far right◊, along with three other characters. There's a male Yellow on the far left and Orange right next to him.
Surprisingly, the picture revealed a third Red character. Longer hair than Adam or Ruby.

I'm A Pervert not an Asshole! The voice acting was much better as a whole, too.
And Yang is my favorite of the four girls, now.
Watch SymphogearAhem, Yang's quite the looker.
Dammit, the voice acting still needs some work. The twins sound pretty bad, and Ruby sounds way too high-pitched.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.I think the twins were intentionally voice acted the way they were.
Watch SymphogearGood point. Still pretty bad to listen to.
Lindsay is Ruby's actress. I get how her normal voice wouldn't quite fit Ruby, but it's too girly.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang.
I didn't think the voice acting was that bad this time around. It's definitely improved in quality, though I agree that Ruby's voice was a bit too high-pitched for my liking. For some reason I think that all of the songs that have played so far may be sung by Weiss. I don't know why I think so but I do.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I can say that Ruby didn't sound as grating as the twins.
I'd still like for it to change, though. I can't get into the series if the characters sound off.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Honestly I'd just let Casey do Weiss' voice
So all the character songs are hits made by Diva Weiss?
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!I think so.
Speaking of voices, I thought it was Adam's actor playing Junior, but I was wrong. It's Jack, from Achievement Hunter.
Get Michael and Ray, too, please.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. The voices okay-ish to godawful, but everything else looks good. It looks a lot more campy and less serious than what the first two trailers suggested.
Ruby and Yang are tied as my favorite girls, so far.
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterCALLED IT!
I think she's my fave. She's certainly the most enthusiastic about beating people up of the four so far.
Wild fight. Ruby takes out a legion of Mooks, Weiss gets a Wake-Up Call Boss, Blake teams up to fight both and Yang gets all of the above plus interest. Something tells me she's gonna get scolded for all the property damage she'll be causing.
Surprised we got a reprise of Red Like Roses. I wonder how many versions of that song there are gonna be, counting fan remixes.

Bleye knows Sabers. It looks like Yang is searching for Blake, while already being acquainted with Ruby.
Not sure how that'll turn out, but I think Weiss will be the last to join.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Everything was awesome...then Ruby spoke. That voice...it's so unfitting...
Yang is tied with Blake for favorite though.
To be honest, the voice acting in so far in both trailers - as well as the dialogue - has been cringe-worthy. :/
I seriously hope it improves before the final release, otherwise it's just... eugh. ):
Look at it this way, we already know there are going to be 4 girls as the title characters. We've had two trailers showing that. There's only two trailers left, and there's more to the show than what the first two trailers showed. So trailer 3 will serve to introduce other things that will be present in the show.
