Katherina was jolted back to reality at those words. Why that little..! a vein throbbed in her temple He might be cute but he has an atrocious personality! she fumed at what he had said.
"Listen here, I don't know what the HECK your deal is, nor do I care. I have spent 8 years in that army, training my BUTT off at that training facility. I did NOT do just to get insulted by some jerk whom I've just met, so shut your damn mouth, got it?! You don't know me nor what happened to me so shut your mouth!" as she was saying this she stepped closer and closer to him.
Once she was in front of him she poked him in the chest, and watched as he doubled over in pain. She huffed angrily as she stomped out of his room, slamming the door on her way out. Damn jerk!! Who the hell does he even think he is!! The next time I see him will be too soon. she kept grumbling all the way to her room.
When she entered her room, she slammed the door closed and jumped on her bed, screaming into her pillow. She grabbed on one of her pink bears and proceeded to punch it, all the while imagining it was Emil.

Magnus looked around, checking to make sure that no one had seen him enter SERVE's base. He had already started feeding a temporary loop to the cameras and finished uploading a few "false lead" files. He decided to head back to his room, as steathily as possible. He managed to get to the door without much incident, and had parked his "mech" in the hangar bay.
He closed the door silently begin himself and sighed in relief.

He shifted his form, gave his armor some dents, burns and scratches, and fell into his bed.

After abusing her bear, she fixed her room and grabbed a piece of paper and a ballpen. She drew what she remembered on how Emil looks like. She changed into her gym clothes quickly, which consisted of a black sports bra with small intricate red flower designs and black cargo pants with the same designs. She grabbed some tape and went to the gym to train, slamming her door closed.
Once she reached the gym she went to the nearest punching bag, stuck Emil's picture on it, and started beating it, applying all hand to hand combat that she knew of as she stared at his arrogant face.
Belittle me will you!! Treat me like trash huh!!! I'll show you what I can do you rude, insufferable jerk!! her mood and aura became darker and darker as each and every strike landed on the punching bag with Emil's picture on it.

"No, I like them because I like them. No one influenced me on them. Though unlike Dan I don't like to reference stuff a lot." Summer replied.
"Well I already mentioned I'm a tomboy. So it's no real stretch to guess what I'm into. But I really love the mechas here. It's an absolute dream to be even working on so many of them. From their weaponry, mechanics, systems etc. You get the point." Sarah added, clearly gushing on the giant machines.

"Thing? You... Why would I need to strip just to cover myself in a towel? Besides, the mere act would be wrong even if you didn't see me." Sighing as much as possible, Leo wrapped himself in the towel before setting off a short alarm on the iPhone. Still wearing his clothes underneath the towel, Leo types out a message. "~Let's start by checking Samson's room, okay? By the way, why did you turn away?~"
Conner turned to Simon's attention, trying to calculate so many things from just looking at him. Turning to see Mimi not looking the man in the eyes, Conner somewhat forcefully turned her head upwards and tilted it in Simon's direction. Removing his hands and placing them into his pockets, Mimi coughed a bit before genuinely looking at the man. "Hello, I'm Mimi Deuce and this is Conner Keller. He didn't speak often, but he is loyal and a hard worker." As they began moving, Mimi nervously played with her hands before speaking. "Um, if its alright, what's your middle name? Assuming your last name is supposed to be derived from Jarrett, your names end several combinations. 'Spear-brave to hear, to be heard. Reputation spear-brave, spear-brave reputation, and... To hear, to be heard spear-brave.' My mother and uncle have a tad interest in the meaning behind names."
Glancing somewhat disappointed, Faith sighed and placed the cursor over New Game + (which upon further notice involves the figure actually looking in its direction). "Okay, every time I complete a story I unlock a new story and by completing certain objectives I unlock side-stories or variations in the main story. For one, I unlocked an Evil Route which has me in the role of the Big Bad as he quests to gain control over the thirteen swords made by their world's god. It eventually begins conflicting with the events of the main path, and he ultimately overpowers the goddess and her champion. The overarching story connecting all of them has something to do with the state of nothingness between death and rebirth and the creation of life. Its eventually revealed the Goddess came from another world and only gained power over this one because she was the first lifeform to stand foot within. Regarding the main path of Blades of Magic, I'll just start a new game and all you need to know currently is the player character is just a simple adventurer to begin. Its rather amazing how much detail and work they put into this. Each voice for the player character actually has unique lines and they do speak, awesome right? Sooo... I'll let you help me decide how they'll look this time!"
With that Faith clicks New Game +, with each of the options quickly fading away and the figure walking away from the ruins. What follows next is what seems a return to the "Limbo" between stories, before a light clears away the darkness and a formless thing drifts within the light. Next to them are various options and sliders, and there seems to be smaller options as well. From the looks of it this would probably have a far greater customization than most games. "So Alex, he or she? What do you think their name should be? Oh yeah, you do know the voice actors from Collapse of Destiny right? Man, it is fun having my player character voiced by Allision. Its kind of funny to watch the bumbling antics of those voiced by Ivy, and oh! Choosing the voice also modifies their personality and in-game behavior, which adds a deeper degree to the replay value."
Some hours ago there was reports of Melissa sneezing along her way to give a public speech that was rescheduled for tomorrow, and because of her sneezing she crashed into SERVE Commander Victor Manchester who was here on a visit to review the employees and pilots. Instead, his bodyguard Alice Reigher had a freakout because of Melissa crashing into Victor and his visit was cut short when Alice began beating up Melissa. Alice was drugged out of her mind, Victor apologized profusely to Melissa, and Melissa didn't care too much that she had a broken rib and several shattered fingers. In her opinion, this was pretty good material for the manga she was currently working on. Now, who would she apply this to? She's sure to get bonus points of respect if Celeste was like that, though the girl might attack her. This wouldn't really fit her portrayal for Hans, and its kind of wrong enough that she has Emil pedo-lusting after a girl-Leo... She didn't want to write gay men as bastards, her mother's weird obsessions was already unstable without purposefully angering her... Eh, she'll figure it out later. Hmm... Wonder if Sarah would like to help her out.
Erica felt pretty bad about informing Melissa just a few minutes before the public speech was rescheduled for tomorrow. Because of her Melissa got hurt and had her wounds being attended to the past few hours. Desmond was still weird like every day since she met him, and earlier there was a man who stepped through the room she guarded who asked for directions to the base baker. On his way back he simply told her he worked for Gerald and that she can ask Gerald about him later. At first she thought he was an illusion, and... She's still not too sure on that front. She was often awake for so long, at odd times that she started losing her own concept of time and reality. Now that she thought about it, why were SERVE guards active for so long with a tendency for odd hours? Desmond's borderline insane because of it, right? Argh... The next time she gets a major break period, she'll ask someone about this.
Each of the mecha were pretty much repaired completely, and Gerald stretched out his arms. He would have to check the city later to see if everything was still there, but currently he didn't have better things to do. He had the kitten transported to the Underground and intended to see how it was doing, though... Three new pilots had just come in. Gerald wasn't too clear on the deal that SERVE made with the Marines, but given how easily their mecha were destroyed SEVER probably allowed a portion of their workforce to use this base. Still, he would like to overhaul those toys of theirs. The Russian girl doesn't seem to work for SERVE, but she's far to ridiculous to be an actual soldier of a military force. Though if she's not SERVE, how did she get such a mecha? The least of his concern was Loke Kinipela, someone who actually worked for SERVE out of this entire squad. The other two were his Faith and Emil, the wonder twins hardly count as pilots let alone Fae. Calling those two SERVE operatives would be the same as claiming a cat to be a dog.
Though, Gerald was waiting for Simon to bring back Mimi and Conner. He wasn't expecting their arrival, but Destiny must be up to her games again. It would be nice if she took something seriously for once, she should know better by this point. Still, SEVER would likely find a mission or objective for the two to do here. Thus, Gerald had been sitting patiently where he ordered Simon to fetch the two. Hmm... Where had Simon been earlier today anyways?
Well, today was certainly productive... There was only enough genetic material to replicate the light manipulation ability of the psychic Eldritichian, though... If he creates enough and stabilizes the genetic material, his mecha could very well store and create light if the Eldritichian's ability did what he assumed. The construction of Blazer would be delayed if he did that, and if his mecha proves successfully on the battlefield he would get proper funding and aid to complete it. Still, he could worry about this later. He needed to figure out what Dan did at the Bio-Lab and Leo is likely worrying by this point. Though where would Dan be?
Rift in space opening, a winged tiger-like creature flies out of it. Gracefully landing on the ground, its tail flickers back and forth as it looks for a presence. "~Tigis, I see you have already returned. Why have you not brought back any mutants?~" Lowering itself as if bowing apologetically, he replies. "Sorry master, I was patrolling the stalker's final location when I encountered a small creature that reeked of Eldritichian biology and smell. I must ask for forgiveness for crushing it instead of capturing it, but a group of Marines had advanced upon my location. They seem to be working within the city, and possibly working with SERVE themselves. I can return and help Ovis capture more-" "~No, was that the only Eldritichian you saw? If those were the Marines I'm thinking of, Ovis must be recalled immediately. Its a waste of our time and resources recreating one of you, and I prefer a damaged Ovis than a dead one.~" Tail flickering in shame, Tigis hangs his head low before continuing "There were several more that were sneaking up on the humans, obviously implying they're meant to infect or mark them for capture. The humans were constantly gunning in my direction, and Ovis wasn't too far away. I will allow my paw to be examined to hopefully pick up any genetic traces of the Eldritichian I killed." With that the creature lifted it paw from the ground and took flight instead of walking with his other legs. The halls were darkly lit, though a pristine white as if recently cleaned.

Man on a Mission
After hearing the phone's tone, Vaughn turned around to see Leo with the towel wrapped over his wet clothes. While he was actually relieved to see him choosing that alternative over what he originally thought he would do, it was also slightly jarring for him to see him like that. In any case, after reading the phone's display, he spoke to him...
-“OK, we'll do exactly that then. And regarding why I turned around, well... For one second I thought...”,he nodded his head from side to side before speaking once again,“Nah, never mind. Let's just go find Samson. Don't fall behind, OK!”
And so, quickly but carefully, Vaughn and Leo traveled through the corridors without speaking nor making any contact with each other. Surely enough, it only took them a couple of minutes to reach Samson's quarters. Vaughn knocked to the door in the hopes that Leo's caretaker would be there right now, but after several ineffectual attempts, it was obvious that the owner of this room wasn't there at the moment...
-“Figures...”, he said, mostly talking to himself, “He doesn't spent too much time in his room anyway. And now that I think about it, I don't even know what he does during the most of the day... What to do, what to do...”
He turned around to see Leo, who was shivering a little bit because of the water over his clothes. Vaughn knelt before him in order to “speak” face to face...
-“It seems that Samson is not here yet. Do you know where he might be right now? If you don't, we're gonna need a different plan, because I can't let you freeze due to those wet clothes. What do you say, Leo?”
As he saw the agents right in front of him, Simon couldn't help but to feel an overwhelming uneasiness... Something about this pair seemed strangely odd to him. For starters, the male one had a clear paranoid vibe to him, just like a lot of the staff working for Gerald... And yet, this one unnerved him more than any of his other underlings. The only way that he could describe it, was that it felt like he was a rabid dog ready to attack without any given warning. The way he “corrected” his companion's posture only emphasized that lingering aggressive aura around him.
And then there was the girl, who was possibly even more unsettling than the man. Despite her timid behavior, the decidedly non-threatening aura around her, and her attempt to strike an affable conversation, something about her looked extremely off. Her white hair and golden eyes were definitely unusual, not something that you see everyday, unless you're in some sort of Anime convention. Her wardrobe choice was also slightly odd, nothing too extravagant, but still odd nonetheless... And her mannerisms and speech pattern were also strange... Not overtly eccentric nor unnatural, but just... Off. Everything about this girl was slightly off, in a certain way.
In order to ease his uneasiness, he decided to test the waters by saying something outrageous, so that he could try to measure their reactions...
-“Well, I can guarantee you, Ms. Deuce, that those are my only two names. Simon Jarrett. There's nothing between, nor before, nor after them. And, regarding the meaning behind it, that would be a little hard to pin-point, considering that my parents are extremely dead right now, so, I never got the chance to ask them why they choose that name. The bastards took the secret to grave along with them, one could say.”
Then he started thinking...
-“What will you do now? Only a sociopath would laugh at such a bad taste comment... The same goes if they just brush it off as if it wasn't a thing worth noting... Come on, let me see through your poker face...”
After listening to Faith's explanation, things started to look a lot clearer in Alex's mind...
-“Alternate dimensions, eh? That actually sound really intriguing... Kinda like the types of games I liked to spend a lot of time on when I was younger. Despite the harshest moments, I'd actually like to return to those days...”
Clearing his mind, he spoke to Faith...
-“So, I get to choose the character? Hmmmm... Let's see... I think it should be a girl named Casey.”
After speaking those words, a thought flashed through Alex mind...
-“Wait a second! Why did I choose that name? I promised I'd forget about her after... Goddammit! There's no need to think about the past; a name is just a name, it doesn't matter to whom it belonged to... I shouldn't give it too much importance...”
...This idea happened so fast, that no one could have really noticed the brief pause in Alex's speech...
-“And, regarding the voice, I'll let you choose that one; I'm not that familiar with the Collapse of Destiny's cast, so I wouldn't know which one to choose... Hmmmm... Pick a happy-go-lucky one! You know, the kind of girl that isn't afraid to do what has to be done!”
Then another flash thought went through his head...
-“A happy-go-lucky one... Damn... I seems that I haven't forgotten her after all...”
Listening to Nolan's plans for the future didn't make Celeste any more confident, but all the contrary. Her mind raced after listening to those words ...
-“I don't know how he does it, but Dr. Reitman was right about Commander Briggs, just like he usually is: He's a man who wears his heart on his sleeve, he's definitely more a warrior than a master strategist. And yet, there's no doubt that he's a good man, indeed... I just hope he doesn't get in troubles because of GeneSys.”
Clearing her damaged throat, she spoke to Nolan...
-“You'll have to speak to Dr. Reitman himself to see what would happen, Commander. While I can't guarantee you that GeneSys will be able to take care of all the issues you mentioned, as there's no way for us to completely restructure SERVE, what I can assure you is that we'll do our best in order to defend mankind.”

"I completely understand that Celeste. My words were a little too hopeful, but then again I like to have big dreams. Besides all that, how have the other pilots been treating you so far? I'd like to see how they treated their new teammate." Nolan replied, with curiosity.
Sarah looked to Loke and replied "I didn't really ask for an answer bu thanks. Oh and the celebrity you're referring to is Charlie Sheen."
Summer added "I could see why he would enjoy that, he is insane." as she laughed.
Dan was simply walking around the mech hangar bored when he saw that Mexa-One was up and running.
He decided to take it out for a test run in the training field for some fun.
He ran around in the machine shooting countless targets and slicing stuff up with the pizel sword, enjoying every minute of it.
He eventually finished the session, grinning with delight and walked off.
As he walked he saw a familiar figure in the distance and ran up to him.
"Samson! Buddy I've been looking for you, I even called you a couple of times, anyways we need to talk." Dan stated.

Looking back to see Dan approaching him, Samson turns around completely sighing apologetically. "Sorry about that, I lost my phone and saw it get crush before I could retrieve it. Labs, you know? There's always something moving about that's heavy enough to crush a man's spine. I was intending to inform others of my new number yesterday, but you know how that went. I had something I needed to do this morning, and lost track of the time. Despite what people might think, there is a home for my family outside this base. It formerly belonged to my maternal grandparents if you were wondering. So, what is it you need to talk about?"
Leo wasn't overly fond of Vaughn so far, though... Shivering a bit and looking him in the eyes, Leo began to type out a message. "~Despite having worked together for years, we hardly know each other. Vaughn, who and what do you think I am? Samson needs his secrets and mysteries like all humans. I don't know where he could be aside from the various locations dealing with the mechas. Vaughn, before we go anywhere, what do you think a secret is? Samson usually engages my random questions, and I'll feel better asking questions until we find Samson.~"
Conner's nigh-perpetual stare slightly shifted, as if thinking something out. "So, this passes as an Aboveground employee? I much prefer the straightforwardness of the Underground and Labs. His speech and tone is rather obviously a trick to elect a reaction out of us to presumably understand how our own minds work. Mother was dead long before I was made, thus the best course of action would be one that displays my distaste of his vulgar behavior..." As Conner thought things out, Mimi looked towards Simon sternly. "This is a trick isn't it? If your parents were dead, they would certainly be angry that you would sully their name just to trick two strangers. I really hope you're lying Mister Jarrett, I don't like people who casually disrespect their superiors and the dead like that. So-" Mimi stopped as Conner withdrew his right hand, and raised one finger to hopefully carry across his point to Simon about his little speech. Putting his hand back into the pocket and Mimi starting to look away, she spoke much friendlier. "I'm sorry, I seen and known people who had rough upbringings. You just seemed so casual about it when you seem so fine, so I thought you were trying to trick me. This world isn't as peaceful or perfect as it seems, and people constantly have to lie and deceive to get what they want. Why can't people just understand one another..."
Mulling over the details and things Alex said, before making a short-lived whistle. "Ally is kind of angry and short-tempered, the woman known as Sarah Nexus plays stoic and logical so... That really just leaves Ivy out of the core three, but she plays more naive and friendly characters... There's Katherine 'Kate' Nekomimi, she plays kind of spunky characters and played Princess Alexandra who pretended to be a man named Alex in Collapse of Destiny. Misty Meller voices assertive and rather carefree characters like Stella from the same show. Though, did you only suggest she'll be a girl because of me? A girl named Casey seems a little too planned as if you've been thinking of her concept for a while. So... What about her hair, eye and skin colors? Hell there's even a bust and waist modifier for female characters. The character's starting outfit can be somewhat designed as one pleases, and how tall and old is this girl gonna be? I'll also like to know what kind of elements and combat styles she'll prefer, but that's a post customization screen. Wait, is Casey all there is to her name? There's a secondary name that's a basic title for the character which develops and evolves with their actions. So calling her One Stroke and specializing her for fire and swordsmanship would cause her title to become One Stroke from Hell. Seriously, I actually did that once." Pausing in thought for a moment, Faith turned back to Alex and spoke "Are you really okay with this? Most people try to figure a way out by this point."
Having polished his helmet and noticed the curious glances of the Enigma girl Eric simply stood up and gave a light yawn. There were three main things Eric was concerned with currently: Ensuring Fuji and Ezekiel don't get their asses killed, make sure humanity is still standing by the war's end, and not dealing with the problems of romance until everything is over. Walking semi-aimlessly down the halls, he held his helmet by his side as he overlooked the various day-to-day activities of this lab. The levels accessible to the public and the "Aboveground" SERVE operatives didn't leave a single clue of the real experiments. The only Fae allowed on this floor were those stable enough not to freak out and expose their nature, which sadly happened once before. The people still alive were never seen by the above world ever again, and Eric felt it only fair to provide the poor folks that were still alive or sane company when he entered the deeper sectors. Now that he thinks about it... Fuji should be trying to explain Collapse of Destiny to some of those Eldritichians. It was somewhat impressive actually, and most of the Eldritichians in the lab were "tamed" because of the accidental discovery that they're capable of empathizing with humans to some degree. Still, she really needs to learn better.
