Weirdly enough, I only seemed to have an issue with the animation during the non action scene.
The others seemed fine to me.
Well ok, something did feel like it was missing compared to Season 1, but it didn't fill me with rage. I'm just kinda disappointed at most.
I rather wish they'd somehow saved the season 1 animators for this season or something.
One Strip! One Strip!Or just waited for them to be available. I wouldn't have minded waiting another couple years for Season 2 if it was the same quality as Season 1. Since it'd be a known hit, we wouldn't have to wait as long for Season 3 (well, aside from having to wait for the manga to get far enough ahead, depending). It'd basically make it similar to the situation behind the Shingeki No Kyojin anime.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!New webcomic chapter out! I'm so glad it's updating again. Poor King.
New Murata chapter up as well.
Gyoro Gyoro and Orochi bit off more than they could chew, but only the former knows it.
One Strip! One Strip!Welp. Orochi is straight up fucked, but it'll be interesting to see how much he gets to show off before getting one-shotted.
Dost Thou Desire the Power ... Glove? It's so bad.I love how this franchise is basically "how far can the villain get before Saitama f-cks them up royally?"
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Considering that in quite a few cases, Saitama is the only one who can stop them, pretty damned far I'd say.
That's not to say that others don't have a chance, but that might only be temporarily, or if they fight them early enough.
Saitama is the only one who's mere presence is an instant win button for the heroes. He can't be planned for, planned around or anything like that.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean - to be fair Sea King didn't have to put up with any S-Class fighters other than Genos. And Genos is, well, Genos.
The S-Class had Boros' forces under control and Tatsumaki was on her way to destroying the ship. One has to wonder how that battle might have turned out if Saitama didn't pull a Leeroy Jenkins and rush his way to the final boss.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Sea King did actually fight Puri Puri Prisoner, who's also S-Class. I can't quite remember his number though.
But yeah, Genos is the only one who seemed like he could put a dent in him. Even with one arm, he was fighting fairly evenly with him, and I recall Word of God saying Genos actually could have won that fight if he'd been more careful.
One Strip! One Strip!Oh, right. Puri Puri Prisoner.
I think I subconsciously omitted him from that fight.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Yeah. I'm pretty torn on him myself.
Seeing a big burly Manly Gay man as a Sailor Moon parody gets a chuckle out of me, but he also enforces a lot of negative stereotypes as well...and then there's the Prison Rape.
He's a massive mixed bag, which is frustrating cause I kinda want to like him just for how ridiculous he is.
One Strip! One Strip!I personally don't take camp stuff seriously in the first place, so i'm fine with him.
Watch SymphogearPuri Puri Prisoner is the weakest S Class, by his own admission. Even Tanktop Master is stronger. Genos is actually among the weaker S Class heroes, he's weaker than the mid-tier S Class heroes like Atomic Samurai, Pig God, and Child Emperor, and he's vastly weaker than the top-tier S Class Heroes like Bang, Tornado, Superalloy Darkshine, and Lightspeed Flash.
Actually, wasn't there a moment recently where Puri Puri Prisoner defeated a monster as strong as Sea King? PPP seems to be able to adapt to changes very quickly and improve his fighting style and moves on the fly, so despite being the weakest S Class, he's still constantly getting stronger.

Puri is confusing because he does Serious Series Serious Side Hops over the line and it's hard to tell where he lands.
He's an Obliviously Evil Offscreen Villain who's targets are mostly Asshole Victims.

Wait so did Saitama one punch Orochi and he regenerated or did something else leave him as just snakes?
Secret SignatureIt's more of a limiter released mode. I believe that he showed it off in the fight against Garou.
Dost Thou Desire the Power ... Glove? It's so bad.Genos had been winning against Sea King till the rain healed him and Genos took a hit meant to kill a girl like a hero should.
But to say he'd be out of his depth fighting Orochi is totally correct. Same for fighting Gyoro.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Being as Saitama is essentially super effective against everything, yeah.
I mean, you can't even use Telekinesis to just throw him away.
Tornado does do that, but not seriously enough, and when she tries it again later with the intention to throw him into space, he just braces himself and she can't move him at all...despite the fact that he's not even holding onto anything. It's pretty ridiculous how strong he is and how logic defying it is too.
One Strip! One Strip!Hell, Genos is out of his league against Fuhrer Ugly.
Tatsumaki is essentially Telekinetic Saitama, but still weaker than him.
Hell, its even stated that Had Tatsumaki not been injured prior, she would have easily defeated even Golden Sperm.
Watch SymphogearIt's heavily implied that Tatsumaki could take Garou when he was at the height of his power if she hadn't been injured. Garou no-sells her attack but openly admits that he'd have been in trouble if she'd been fighting in peak condition.
Dost Thou Desire the Power ... Glove? It's so bad. It's also implied that Tatsumaki was the person the seer prophesized would fight Boros, since she claimed that there was someone out there in the universe right at that moment who could challenge him, and Saitama didn't get his powers until recently while Tatsumaki had her powers since she was a child.
I thought that was Blast.
I thought it was Garou.
My various fanfics.
Yeah, the first season is god-tier. It is legit one of the best animes ever made. The only complaint I've ever heard was from people who didn't get into the story, so if you're already a fan of One Punch Man, you should absolutely check out season 1 of the anime.
Season 2 is so much more disappointing because it's being handled by a different animation studio, one with much less quality than the first season had.
