Not sure if it's mentioned already, but I really love the music for the series. Especially in Klonoa 2.

The BGM to Ishras Ark is so soothing.

And Path of Goddess Claire

They should just release an HD port of Klonoa Wii and then remake Lunatea's Veil in that same style. I loved Lolo in Namco High and really want to properly meet her.

Klonoa 2 still looks gorgeous so I think an HD-uprez is all it needs. At any rate I wouldn't want them to again risk Klonoa's future on a remake.

Rob Pereyda, producer of the ill-fated Klonoa movie, recently became head of anime, editorial, and publishing in Netflix in their Tokyo HQ.

Think he'll try to bring back the Klonoa movie via Netflix?

Honestly, that wouldn't surprise me.

…Funny, I watched Caddicarus' review of Klonoa just yesterday. And it made me want to jump back to 1997 so badly.

I have no idea what a movie would look like though. =[

That's a pity. Here's hoping Namco shall at the very least offer a remake of the Lunatea's veil and hoping even more there'll also be some whole new Klonoa-games. Seriously, Klonoa's whole story is so much yet to develop. It would be a huge pity if it never got the chance.

Bandai Namco has recently filed trademarks for "Waffuu Encore" and "1&2 Encore" in Japan!

For the uninitiated, "Waffuu" is how Klonoa's signature "Wahoo" is spelled/interpreted in Japan! (Maybe it's supposed to be spelled "Wahoo Encore"?)

As for "1&2 Encore", that indicates that the elusive "Klonoa Encore" that got trademarked years back will not just be a remaster of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, but also of Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil!

Another trademark update!

Bandai Namco trademarked "Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series" in Canada on December 17th, 2021 and Europe on December 20, 2021.

For the crowd that's scratching their head about "reverie", Google says that "reverie" means "a state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts; a daydream."

And on a related note, "phantasy" is a variant of "fantasy" that nowadays refers to the fields of psychology and psychiatry. ("Phantasy" isn't just a word Sega made up, kids!)

Right! This is now the third of BN's Klonoa-related trademarks. The first being the "Klonoa Encore" trademark from September 2019 and the second being "Wahoo Encore" and "1&2 Encore" from September 2020, both cases in Japan.

We're very nearly there, folks!

I wonder if it'll just be the 2 console games or if it'll include the GBA Empire of Dreams game. (Or maybe even a new game?)

Whatever it is, all I can say is... wahoo! I was starting to lose hope.
