^^You've really improved.
"Doctor Who means never having to say you're kidding." - BocajSecond attempt at inking with a dip pen.
I suppose I also need to learn how to shade with it and study more of the human face.
D'aw, thanks Yuan.

it reminds me of the joker
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. Here's the most recent thing I borked.◊
This isn't objectively that bad - although the shading on the face and shoulder is pretty fucked - it's just so different from the way the character should look that I can't use it.

Sometimes I wish those myths about digital art were true.
Tried to replicate the her crazy faces from the comic, but she just ended up looking kind of drunk.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"I wish I could even come close to some of those "bad drawings"
We all suck at the beggining.
Practice practice practice
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.i'm stuck at what looks like glorified stick figures...
Practice is not just repeating the same thing over and over again my friend. Is all about learning something new while doing it. I think it's best to describe it more as "studying" and less as in "repeating"
I recall a newbie artist being angry (to the point of name calling) at a pro artist for the "just practice" advice. His problem? he wasn't learning, he was just repeating his same mistakes over and over again.
I advice you to start with mastering the basic shapes (I have yet to master them myself :p).
This tutorial series is a great starting point

Wanna see the random crap I get up to? Me neither. http://jesseskwilliams.tumblr.com/Well, I only just started drawing, but compare my first drawing (of Zangoose) to the second drawing I've done (with a really weird concept)
Will check those tutorials though. I mean, my drawing is okay right now, but I tried to do a different Zangoose and couldn't make it's left foot not look... derpy.

Oh wait, that stuff's new...
Title says it all. Looks more like (to quote Retsupurae) 'Retard Abraham Lincoln' than Elizabeth Comstock.

I am not great these day but at least I don´t use a fucking iron on my stuff to attempt to straighten it out and it still looks folded. There was worse stupid angsty teen art, but I fortunately didn´t own a scanner back then.

For those times you just want to doodle something in a napking (jk, but hey that's how Phineas And Ferb was born :D) or something not very serious.
If you want to just show off your doodles, bad quality scans/photos, "bad drawings", art you don't care, Old Shame drawings etc this is the place!.
Don't forget to use your scrapbook if you use deviant art.
I will start with a doodle of my oc
