Yup. He was the biggest deal in the original mini as him.
As I mentioned, only him and Silver Samurai were pre-established characters when that comic premiered. The rest were all original.
Man, it's crazy that I know what Big Hero Six is. That one was really obscure. I just lucked out coming across the issues at my local store at the time.
One Strip! One Strip! So I was looking up some stuff on the group, and it turns out Silver Samurai is dead.
Killed by Ninjas. Poor bastard. I didn't even hear about that one.
One Strip! One Strip!Someone brought this up, but does anyone know is the X-Men are divided by animation rights or just film in general? Because if Disney/Marvel maintained animation rights, they could conceivably use Sunfire or his sister.
If they don't have those rights, they can change anything they want. They moved the story into a flimsy excuse of what a child thinks an Asian town is like!
They got Wolverine for the first Avengers cartoon and Ultimate Spider-Man. So I'd assume they can use Sunfire.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatSan Fransokyo looks awesome in the test and is, to me, silver age silly in conception. It has a Japan Takes Over the World vibe that I adore and seems rife for trope busting.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceYeah, personally, I don't like it when a company intentionally pushes a superhero story back to a more campy, Silver Age style, like Batman The Brave And The Bold.
Except B:TBATB was awesome *despite* being a Silver Age homage. The Incredibles was, too, and not just to comics but to 70's Spy Films. So although I fear this will be an In Name Only adaptation, I still have faith in Disney to make an enjoyable product.
Disney film, set in future japan/ japan-like destination with robots?...... SOMEWHAT CALLED IT!

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.I do remember reading that, and yes, they somewhat made it into a reality. But would the characters be designed like CG anime characters, or just Disney-esque, faintly-ethnic ones?
Probably the later. Which is ironic, given that Anime got its big-eyed art style from Disney cartoons!
FULL CIRCLE!!! CRISS CROSS!
Well, that depends on how you feel about the Silver Age of Comics. As much as I loved it, I have to admit it is too campy for most modern people.
Do you think Stan Lee's gonna voice his own cameo in this film?
Stan Lee didn't create the Big Hero 6 so I don't know why he'd have a cameo.
They showed some stuff off at D23 and some silhouettes of the characters. Looks like a nice sentai feel to them.
But he had a cameo in all of Marvel Studio's films. Maybe they'd just include him in a cameo because people expect it.
Silhouettes aren't much to go on, but they've got great designs as usual from Disney.

I can see Red Ronin and Baymax, at the very least.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatOh God, they ARE using that awful "San Fransokyo" name!? Why can't they just use the real Tokyo??
Oh well, at least the movie is officially confirmed. Now we'll truly see what happens when Marvel characters get "Disneyized".
I can't wait to see New York City represented in a future Disney film, where they'll call it Los Yorkales.
After reading The first comic of this, I really want to see how far this movie can go with the chalenges it faces.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI suppose they think they'll alienate us narrow-minded Americans if they go too foreign.
Looking for some stories?Well, the fact that they put it in a fantastical, fictional blend of two cities, instead of a real one, tells you about how much they'll change...
The Sunfire?
