Fate/oath alternative RP

Fate/oath alternative Discussion

Alright, you all knew about the Fate RP called Festival of Epics, right? Well, I've taken it upon myself to start the reboot since under circumstances, Daltar can't manage it. I'm taking the helm, and that's why I started Fate oath/alternative! I named it after music, so sue me.

The premise is the same as Festival of Epics, except instead of the of Sur-Loire, the war takes place in an American city called Archwood which is pretty much a mix of New York City and Los Angeles. It has the attractions of both, and much more! Even a nice view of the beach. Alright, so KSPAM and myself are going to be your G Ms.

Now, this Grail War is different. There isn't any limit on the amount of Servants that can be running around. And, as in it's predecessor, Jeanne de'Arc is serving as the Overseer so shit doesn't go awry. The Grail isn't corrupted by Angra Mainyu either, so that's always a plus! So then, let's get to the rules.

  • Number one and most important No Godmodding. Even if you play as an all mighty servant about to drive your heaven-splitting sword into the heart of a cripple child Master in a wheelchair, you don't write that you hit him. You state your intent and then wait for confirmation of the kill. This rule is slightly more lax with NPC but still use your common sense. If you really feel your character is being pushed around then please report it to me and I will mediate as I deem fair.
  • There might be high fluctuations on the powers of those in the game... However, this doesn't mean that there is a net benefit on playing a mightier legend to push people around. Stronger Servants and teams will face greater challenges and be on the target from several other Servants who might aim to take the greater menace down. While I hope that we can have fun, take into account that signing up for more power will mean more trouble for you and be held to closer scrutiny.
  • This is an elimination game, which means that your character will most likely die. Now, remember, make sure you clear everything up with the other players if you wish to kill their character. Be it through P Ms, or if they say I want this character to die.
  • The Holy Grail War and Magic is supposed to be kept a secret in the game world. Which basically means that even thought you can kill civilians in plain daylight, destroy whole buildings while giggling and declare yourself Lord Mage and Master of all the pathetic Muggles, all these acts carry will carry dire consequences. If you break the Masquerade you will make yourself enemy of all and a price will be put on your head. You have been warned. Still you can commit as many atrocities as you can think of as long as nobody notices.
  • You control your PC and I'll even allow you to control the actions of some little NPC's like your PC parents, service or whatever, but please don't abuse this.
  • Last but not least, if you want to quit the game, please just say so instead of simply disappearing into the night. We'll reach some agreement on what to do with your character. Elimination, retirement and other options are at hand.

I have to thank Dalt for the rules.

And if you don't know much about Fate, don't worry, some info on the oh so trusty wiki and be found here.

And if you need to ask questions, feel free, I'll do my best to find the info if I can.

Now, onto applications:

Alright so here's a map of the city of the island of Archwood and the main land of De le Mancha!

  • Archwood City: This is where everything happens! A city with many different things to do and see. Buildings as high as the eye can see, a main district with shops that house everything you can imagine (Even the kinky stuff)! Apartment complex after apartment complex. Oh, it also has a wide string of casinos.
  • Archwood Pier: This is pretty straight forward. This is where all of the ships coming to Archwood dock.
  • Archwood Ghetto: This is.. probably the most dangerous part of the island. It sees the most gang activity and it's where most of the violence happens. Run down houses, people trying to scrape together enough money to make a living, it's not a pleasant experience.
  • Redrock Town: A suburb that lies on the outside of Archwood. The description is pretty mundane, so have a picture!
  • Abandoned Manor: An island that houses one of the many landmarks around Archwood. It's said to have housed a ancient vampire in years passed and it's a hot spot for those interested in the supernatural. The island has a newly renovated dock so others can come and see it. A forest surrounds the old manor, adding to the creepy atmosphere.Picture!
  • Archer's Peak: An old light house named after the founder of the city. It's now abandoned, and a popular tourist attraction and landmark. Lighthouse!
  • Brunhild Bridges: The twin bridges that connect Archwood to the mainland. They look something like this.
  • Archwood Lake: A large lake that lies outside of the main Archwood City and next to the two main parks. Water!
  • Archwood State Park: It's your typical state park with some hotdog stands, pretty trees and wildlife. Nothing special.
  • Archwood State Amusement Park: It's a theme park with a lot of rides! What more is there to say?
  • Brine Beach: It's a beach. Pretty beach.
  • The Church: This is the place where you can go talk to Jeanne about any questions you have about the war, or if you want to seek refuge while the war finishes out! Jeanne's always glad to help anyone in need. Something like this.
  • De la Macha: The famous Spanish founded city that's connected to Archwood via the Brunhild Bridges. Archwood City is the main attraction, and others just treat De le Mancha as a resting stop before the main city. It looks something like this.
  • Le Mancha Forest: As Archwood is famous for its different attractions, De le Mancha is famous for its wild life and the forest aptly called Le Mancha Forest. It's not a State Park so to say, but the forest itself is very famous. The forest.
  • Phoenix Road: The road that goes North past Chico de Aqua and further up the coast. You can see the difference from its sister road.
  • Feather Road: A road that passes through Deadway and down below Le Mancha Forest to get to the Southern end of the state. The road itself.
  • Chico de Aqua: What was once a small settlement during the Gold Rush in California. It's now a small community that can be defined as De le Mancha's suburb. Here we are.
  • Aqua Mineshaft: The mineshaft used in the far past. It never collapsed and has withstood the test of time. Here we are.
  • Deadway: A desert that's only referred to as Deadway. Something like this.

  • Name: Jessica Harway
  • Age: 17
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: Looks kind of familiar, no?
  • Personality: Jessica is a kind and gentle soul with the heart of gold. She has amazing leadership qualities, and is quite mature for her age. She sticks up for the little guy no matter the situation and puts forth her maximum effort into helping them, even if she doesn't know them. Some view this as a fault, being too trusting, but Jessica views it as her sole strength.
  • Abilities:
    • Mystic Code: Lightray: Jessica's Mystic Code that also happens to be a Conceptual Weapon. A sword that's capable of harnessing the power of light itself. It's a blade with various modes and triggers that are capable of taking the enemy down.
      • Energy Spiral: Upon the incantation "Spiral Out", runic symbols orbit around the sword's blade. It can spin fast enough to blow the target away, or it can suck the enemy in for a close range strike. If desperate enough, she can call "Spiral, Stand." and slash the sword into the ground. The light orbiting around the blade explodes. It's capable of busting through a concret wall upon impact.
      • Energy Extention: The command "Extend." prompts the blade's light energy to branch out. It extends the blade about six feet out. It also helps that it's practically weightless, so it gives Jessica more movement than in its Spiral state. The command "Extension, Stand." prompts the sword to release all of its energy in a single instant. Once swung, it bursts forward in the form of a white beam of light.
      • Energy Pool: Upon the command of "Pool, Out." the blade creates a large, circling disc in front of her. It's about the size of her body and it can protect against most low to mid level magical attacks. It may last a second against a Noble Phantasm, but the barrier will break a moment later.
    • Origin:"Fulfillment": Her magic is set around buffing and reinforcing her own attributes. She can make them run faster, leap further, any kind of feat impossible for a human she makes possible. This stems from the fact that she wants to feel complete by helping others, but she never can help herself.
  • Bio: Jessica grew up in the Harway family mansion. She was, of course, raised to be the ideal magus. At the age of seven, her Mother was pregnant again. The baby was born but it had one major fault. The girl was born blind. So, she was put up for adoption as they couldn't take care of a failure. Jessica's parents aren't exactly the best as they both put business, money, and magic above all else. They constantly try to instill this into their young daughter through any means, but it just doesn't play out right. Ten years pass and, eventually, Jessica comes across her adoptive sister. Currently, she's still trying to become a part of her life. But between magic, family business and school, she hardly has the time to be a part of her life, much to her dismay.
  • Assets: She's captain of the fencing team if that counts for anything! She also has an unnatural obsession with hamburgers and refuses to eat Kalamari.

  • Name: Wes Downgate
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: 15
  • Appearance: "I'm definitely not some sort of hero. That's what I have you for, right?"
  • Personality: A kind, gentle, and accommodating young man who doesn't look like he has a mean bone in his body (and if he did, you could probably snap it like a twig). Wes is one of those types who just won't stop until he's satisfied, and is endlessly curious as well as highly intelligent. He'll want to know everything about something as soon as it catches his eye. Doesn't like complaining or complainers.
  • Abilities: As a magus, Wes is subpar. Pathetic. He doesn't even have a Magic Crest, or the technical knowledge needed to work his circuits. His body is just too weak to support any kind of magic use. However, Wes does have other talents. Wes is an world class history, mythology, and anthropology nerd, with a near encyclopedic knowledge of all three subjects. In a setting like the Holy Grail War, this is helps him identify the enemy in a staggeringly short period of time, sometimes just by looking at them. As a general rule, if you've figured it out before Wes, you can count that as one of life's small miracles. He also knows a significant amount of Mortal Kombat from having read and committed to memory the military conquests of some of history's most famous conquerors and kings, giving him surprising and unexpected tactical insight.
  • Assets: A three-story penthouse apartment situated on top of an apartment complex riddled with magical defenses, among which are "three mana generators, dozens of ghosts roaming the halls as guard dogs, countless traps, and doors that open into other worlds". All this is cut off from the regular apartments by a spacial distortion which separates half of the building's apartments from the other. All attempts to access the apartment by normal means will lead to the mundane apartments, which don't connect to Wes'. Attempts to intrude through magical means allow access to the other section, which leads to Wes' apartment, but is absolutely crawling with traps.
  • History: Wes was the first born of two fraternal twins, born with an exceedingly rare congenital heart defect. This almost unfixable imperfection in his heart stunted his growth, and severely impaired his ability to exert his body in any way. Even the stress of trying to channel energy through his Magic Circuits was too much for his limping ticker. So, as a result, Wes was left by the roadside and the family's magic was passed to his brother, Paul. It's likely Wes would've been put up for adoption at this point, had anyone actually wanted him. Not many magus families are keen on the idea of taking someone like Wes, who can barely use magic. So, he spent his childhood in his father's "care", neglected and treated like any other drain on resources would be treated. It was during these years that Wes took up the hobby of reading from his father's vast library. The outside world was alluring, but with the state of his body, it didn't have as much to offer Wes as it did others. So he buried himself in books. He read everything, although his favorites were the folk tales and myths. While some children grew up imagining who would win in a fight between Optimus Prime and a ninja, Wes preferred Cu Culhain vs. Achilles. So naturally, when he heard his family would be participating in the Grail War, he was ecstatic at the prospect. He'd get to meet a Servant! An actual Heroic Spirit! Sure, he was disappointed his brother would be the Master and not him, but still. For him, even the chance to talk to one would be enough. Little did he know, fate had a bigger role in mind...
  • Misc: Very sensitive about his height (4'11) which makes him look like the younger of the two brothers, despite actually being the same age.

  • Class: Archer
  • Master: Jessica Harway
  • True Name: EMIYA
  • Gender: Male
  • Height/Weight: 187cm/78kg
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Appearance: Does it look, even a little bit, like he gives a fuck?
  • Personality: His personality is thoroughly cynical, but at the same time, devoted, and even a little childish to the point that it makes him hard to hate. He doesn't lie, but he does keep secrets. He is sarcastic, but it's how he gives advice. All in all, he's loyal and steadfast knight. Just one who's very hard to get along with. With no Shirou in sight, his goals have become more Grail-oriented, in the hopes its power may be able to grant his wish anyway.

Oh hey, good thing I have plenty of Servants already written up. Whee~

  • Class: Berserker
  • Master: Rachel St. Claire
  • True Name: "Jack the Ripper", Legendary Serial Killer
  • Gender: Female
  • Height/ Weight: 150cm, 45kg
  • Alignment: Chaotic Mad
  • Appearance: "I'm a nasty surprise, I'm a devil in disguise..." Whilst under Mad Ehancement, she assumes a more feral expression and stance, her eyes glow red, and she is permanently shrouded in mist.
  • Personality: A young girl filled with contradictions, possessing properties of both day and night. Her personality is pure, but cruel at the same time. Though her manner of speech is innocent, she is quick of thought. She is rational, but is emotionally weak. She responds cruelly to others' ill will, but is soft against good will. And although she wears revealing clothing, she is shy, and doesn't go out during the day. She yearns strongly for a mother, and if her Master is female, she will insist on calling them "Mother".
  • Stats: (Stat boosts whilst under Mad Enhancement indicated in brackets)
    • Strength: C (B)
    • Endurance: C (B)
    • Agility: A (A+)
    • Mana: C
    • Luck: E
    • Noble Phantasm (Rank): C
  • Class Abilities:
  • Skills:
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • Maria the Ripper - The Holy Mother of Dismemberment (D) (Anti-Unit): A set of four strangely shaped knives. They are normally classified as Rank D Noble Phantasms, but they can be empowered under certain conditions by "the hatred of children who were denied everything, even the chance to sell their own flesh; the children who were abandoned back then by the 80,000 prostitutes in the London ghettos in order to maintain their own livelihood." If activated normally, they can be used to deal physical damage to the target while the conditions are not completely fulfilled. Upon fulfilling them, the damage rendered receives a large boost in Rank and the attack can guarantee instant death. If a) "it is night-time," b) "the target is a female," c) "it is misty," the knives manifest within the target's body, instantly vivisecting their flesh. The attack is communicated as a curse rather than a physical technique executed by utilizing the set of knives, so it may be used at range. Much like Zabaniya: Delusional Heartbeat, physical defense is impossible, but resistance to curses may permit evasion. Jack cannot use the eviscirating curse of Maria the Ripper whilst under the effects of Mad Enhancement, and instead only uses it as a regular set of D Rank knives.
    • The Mist - Darkened Misty Metropolis (A) (Anti-Army): a Bounded Field Noble Phantasm generated from an antique lantern that reenacts the phenomenon of the "Mist of Death". Upon opening the shutter and gently touching the candle inside, the lit flame instantly begins to generate smoke-like mist from the bottom of the lantern. The mist, wrought of prana, forms a Bounded Field around the area that has a negative effect on all those who enter within the perimiter. Normal humans will quickly faint from pain upon coming in contact with the dense cloud of enveloping smoke, as simply breathing it in burns the throat and direct contact with eyes causes them to fester. They start to suffocate due to being unable to breath, and they cannot see anything as they writhe in pain. She can easily use this time to selectively kill them, or she can simply wait for them to be inflicted with death within a few turns. Magi will not immediately perish, but they will recieve continuous damage. Heroic Spirits will not recieve damage, but they will have a Rank Down in Agility. The Mist is constantly active whilst Jack is under the effects of Mad Enhancement.

Making a Master for Jack there (if Moe allows it), watch this space.

  • Name: Rachel St. Claire
  • Age: 23
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: "Ah... cold, today."
  • Personality: With the goal of her family in mind—to try and pack as much prana into a human frame and open the path to Akasha—despite her own desire to be an author. She likes fiction a lot more than magecraft and, though she devotes time to that which she's been raised to do from birth, Rachel tends to look at a lot of things like stories.
  • Abilities:
    • Elemental Affinity: Blood; a sub-element of Water possessed by her entire family for generations. Also has a secondary affinity for Wind, though she's not so keen to apply that.
    • Family Magics—Prana-Packed Blood. The entire basis of Rachel's family's magic is that blood is almost omnipresent in the human body. So why not turn the blood vessels themselves into magic circuits? Over the generations, this is EXACTLY what they have done, to the point that Rachel's normal magical circuits are effectively dead next to those that infuse her blood.
Result? Her blood is literally packed with magic, above and beyond that which could be achieved by most normal magus. In addition to producing substantial amounts, the amount stored in her body is huge. Naturally, this comes with a downside: if she wants to get at these particular circuits—rather than her barely working (Shirou's are better—yes, Shirou's) but normal ones—then Rachel has to lose some of that blood.
This extends to fuelling a Servant, too, unless she wants to go the OTHER route.
    • Blood Control: So long as it still contains prana, she can control and direct a small quantity of her own blood, as well as multiply it. The result (aided by her Wind affinity) is that she can turn her blood into weapons and shields. Or use it for closing others' wounds by forcing it to form a bandage. She can control any blood that has been mingled with hers, too, without needing to waste prana to multiply it.
In a pinch, she could force it through her skin. But that? That's not a good idea, given the size of the wound
    • Mystic Code: Stasis Bandages. Fuelled by the blood constantly flowing past it, these bandages (one on each arm) keep a wound open but the blood INSIDE her body. Only the magecraft involved prevents infection or an immune response. The wounds beneath still hurt, though.
  • Bio: Born to a long line of mages, Rachel experienced a pretty normal childhood. That her mother died not too long after passing on her thaumaturgical crest—her father being a magus but not one with anything of note to his name—has... well, it's made her want to get away from her family for a while. She's justified the trip as for 'research', though she actually means for stories rather than magecraft. Who knows what she'll find?
  • Assets: Money. Her family's wealth is actually kept in normal banks, amazingly. Guess her parents couldn't think of anything to do one day.

@Moe: Accepted.

@Rain: Accepted.

@Strigon: There are a few problems here that I can see. Number one is the immortal bodyguards. Even bringing them down two ranks each... that's still summoning seven additional Servants to fight. Admittedly they're weaker, but still, seven extra Servants. Forget about overwhelming the enemy, that'd make mincemeat out of the Servant entirely, not to mention it would be obscenely easy to simply ignore the enemy and have the clones focus in one the Master, who would be destroyed even more effortlessly than the Servant. So please, get rid of this.

Secondly, the horses. If they're the size of trucks and can outrun race cars, not to mention turn cars into scrap metal (something Gordius Wheel couldn't do), then why are they C Rank? That sounds like a perfectly viable trump card to me. I'd like you to change the rank, and keep in mind that these... do not exactly appear to be subtle beasts. Overusing them or bringing in more than one at a time runs the risk of attracting some unfavorable attention, something which won't be ignored. Just keep that in mind.

Thirdly, and this is a minor nitpick, Golden Rule. Only Gil has that, and it's pretty safe to assume it's not just something you get by being a king/queen with a lot of wealth. Nero didn't have it, Broskander didn't have it, Gil's the only one who does. So just ditch that. Everything else is fine.

  • Class: Caster
  • Master: N/A
  • True Name: Amalie Georg Faust
  • Gender: Female
  • Height/ Weight: 134.62 cm/30kg
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Appearance: "Y-you weren't expecting someone else, were you?"
  • Personality: Caster has a difficulty talking with people. Aside from her Master, she is timid around human beings. However, nonhumans(including other Servants) will be encountered with a girl who is something of a blabbermouth, releasing everything that she is too shy to say to humans in a semi-coherent stream of consciousness. She is even more willing to converse with the demonic entities she summons. She is heavily attached to a doll she refers to as Gretchen and will be upset by any attempts to take it away. Caster enjoys collecting stuffed animals, the weirder the better. But still huggable.
  • Stats:

  • Class Skills:
    • Territory Creation: B
      • The skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus.
    • Magecraft: C
      • Knowledge about modern Magecraft.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Demon Summoning: A+++
      • Capable of summoning any kind of demon aside from True Devils, and harnessing them to do her bidding. Given that summoned demons are not magic, this allows Caster to bypass magic resistance.
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • The Night of Wallachia-Mephistopheles(C): The fabled presence that Caster summoned in life, Mephistopheles is a dark, formless entity. By invoking its name, Caster can summon Mephistopheles to materialize the fears of her opponent. While she believes it to be a demon(and holds no love for it, unlike other entities she summons), Mephistopheles is actually the 13th Dead Apostle Ancestor, the Night of Wallachia. The fears it materializes will attack those who they were materialized from relentlessly, until they are killed or they kill their target. Mephistopheles is capable of targeting hundreds at once.
    • Gretchen, the Pure Maiden(D~A+): Gretchen was Caster's closest friend in life. The Noble Phantasm transforms Caster's Gretchen doll into the real girl as Caster herself views her. An angelic existence, Gretchen possesses a personality of pure innocence. Her very presence and touch is damaging; While she can only exist for a few minutes at a time, she merely needs to touch a servant to do damage. However, to servants of good or neutral alignments, this damage is not severe unless contact is prolonged. However, when a servant of an evil alignment is touched by Gretchen, they will be burnt as if by intensely hot flames. This touch is lethal to evil-aligned servants if prolonged for ten seconds or more.
  • Misc: Caster was born as Amalie Georg Faust, the daughter of a German magus. Her Mother died of an ongoing illness only a year after Faust's birth, leaving her entirely in the care of her father. As Faust grew, her father realized that she had a rare and unique elemental affinity: Demons. Her father believed that an ability to summon demons with such an element would lead to reaching the root of all knowledge in his lifetime, and thus forced a young Faust to spend her time locked in her away, summoning demons. She managed to befriend another girl her age, named Gretchen, on one of the few days her father allowed to leave her home. However, her father continued to allow Faust and Gretchen to meet. Faust was not allowed to meet anyone else, as her father believed that further human interaction would distract her from her summonings. However, he allowed Gretchen to continue to visit Faust because the girl reminded him of his late wife. Eventually, after many summonings, Faust was pushed to summon more advanced presences... and inadvertently summoned the Dead Apostle Ancestor known as the Night of Wallachia. Deciding to toy with the girl, the Night of Wallachia claimed to be an advanced demon know as Mephistopheles, which was capable of granting wishes. Faust's sole wish, however, was that she could live with Gretchen without her father preventing her from leaving. The Night of Wallachia agreed, intending to feed upon her father to prevent his interference. One evening, when Faust's father was planning to do something truly terrible to Gretchen when she arrived, the Night of Wallachia consumed his blood, killing him. Gretchen and Faust escaped the house. The exact circumstances of their deaths are unknown, but it is likely that the Night of Wallachia had a hand in them.

  • Appearance: Armor is NOT useless! It makes you look much more terrifying. His face
  • Personality: Generally speaking, Shapur is a very ruthless and pragmatic servant; completely dedicated to achieving victory with the least possible cost. Hostages? He'll milk them for all they're worth. Weaknesses of the enemy? He WILL exploit them to their fullest. Ambushes and feints? He'll more often than not attack and fight using them! Enemy servant is too strong? HE'LL GUN FOR THE MASTER INSTEAD!!! Because of his style of dishonorable warfare, he utterly loathes knights and wishes that they die ignoble deaths for their pathetic "Chivalry". All of these things clearly reflect his previous life as one of the greatest rulers that the east has ever produced. Despite his low-blow tactics and cynical worldview, he is not without honor or standards, As alien as they are to "Western" heroes. For one thing, He is extremely loyal to his masters, preferring to sully his name and suffer great torment rather than let one die under his watch. And under no circumstances will he let harm come to children, For in his eyes; They are innocent and undeserving of experiencing the horrors of war (Does not apply to servants who are children since they are no longer as such).

    • Military Tactics: B+, He was not only able to best Emperor Valerian and his Heavy infantry in a pitched battle with minimal losses, but he also managed to capture him alive and humiliate him by using the Eastern Roman Emperor as a footstool until he tired of the ruse and had him flayed alive and use his skin as a dung-filled scarecrow.
    • Eye of the Mind (True): B, Like the example above, Shapur must also have been a very capable and shrewd tactician to have dealt such a crushing defeat to the famous Roman Legions.
    • Battle Continuation: C, Though he was an Emperor, he also had to be rather fierce warrior whenever he and his retinue go to war. And because of him needing to keep up with his elite warriors as well as setting an example for his men; He is quite difficult to put down and even then, the only sure way to incapacitate this servant is to completely break his bones or to dismember his limbs.
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • Ctesiphon, The Breaker of Empires: C, The very Lance That Shapur had used to unhorse and subsequently capture Emperor Valerian after he ran like a coward in the aftermath of the battle of Edessa. This weapon, like all noble phantasms is extremely tough and almost nigh-impossible to destroy; But it's true purpose is to forcibly dismount enemy riders from their beasts, all the lance has to do is make contact and the offending rider's body and the servant is instantly forced off. Apart from the special unhorsing action, It's a fairly standard weapon for it's time period; Save for the fact that it can separate into a spear and maul (It's Tip and weighted, flanged butt end respectively) for dismounted Combat. Also gets a + modifier against Servants who were kings or emperors.
    • Nisean Horse, The legendary Breed: A, The now-extinct breed of Horse so prized, That an entire river was drained when one of these horses had drowned in it. This phantasmal beast is truly worthy of the legend, being the height of a large SUV from head to hoof, can outrun even the Bugatti Veyron by a good amount, having near-unlimited stamina (It only begins to tire when Shapur starts to run low on mana) and capable of trampling cars into scrap metal with relative ease. (Servants are whole different matter entirely, but it'll still leave a mark) Shapur can summon this beast by performing a distinct and loud whistle plus the sacrifice of half his overall mana capacity. It will remain in the field of battle for 8 minutes if Shapur had summoned it with a full reserve.

There! Edited per your suggestions!

  • @Skills: You swapped Golden Rule for Eye of the Mind? Uh.. I think he already has enough skills. Just get rid of it.
  • @Noble Phantasms: Only one Nisean Horse, and no Immortals. Also raise the Nisean Horse to A because that's.. pretty much what I feel it should be.

@Rain: Dick is acceptable. Heheh. Dick is acceptable...

@Anno: Honestly... I know it was accepted last time, but since then, it's kind of come to our attention that using her Demon Summoning skill, Faust could pretty much win the war without moving from her base of operations. It's a little too broken, as you've even pointed out yourself numerous times, and I just don't think it's fair to the other players, or a good fit for this RP.

EDIT: Okay, so it's come to my attention that your demon summoning is similar in nature to Prelati's Spellbook, which I am more willing to accept. Faust is in.

  • Class: Saber
  • Master: -If applicable-
  • True Name: Lancelot du Lac
  • Gender: Male
  • Height/Weight: 191cm, 81kg
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Appearance: [1]
  • Personality: Despite his failings, still the Knight In Shining Armour, bound to the code of chivalry and almost as close as you can get to a living embodiment of it. Protect the weak. Guard your honour and the honour of fellow warriors and never refuse a challenge or surrender—persevere until the very end. Protect a ladies honour. Do not lie. Loyally obey anything your superiors command. It is this last one, and protecting a female's honour, that Lancelot feels he has failed—though Arturia doesn't see it that way. He wants to atone; wants her to be the one to kill him... and until this war is over and the chance of that is lost, he will not give in. The Quest for the Holy Grail shows that Lancelot does not know how to give up

    • Magical Energy: C
    • Luck: B
    • Noble Phantasm (Rank): A
  • Class Skills:
    • Magic Resistance: D. Cancel Single-Action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy. As it is resistance that comes from a magical ring and not oneself, it is lower than expected of the Saber class.
    • Riding: A. A: All creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as mounts. This rank is high enough to have aptitude for the Rider Class.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Eternal Arms Mastership:A+. Mastership of combat arts has reached the point of being said to be unrivaled in one's era. By complete merging of mind, body and technique, it is possible to make use of full fighting skills even when under the influence of any sort of mental hindrance.
    • Protection of the Fairies: A. A blessing from Elementals; the capacity to increase one's Luck in dangerous situations. Activation is limited to battlefields, where it is possible to perform feats of arms.
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • Arondight, Unfading Light of the Lake. A++, Anti-Unit. A holy sword and the counterpart to Excalibur, it was forged by fairy hands rather than human. 'It is a limitless sword capable of receiving any attack without taking damage that shines much like the water of the Lake. It was given only to someone who could be exalted as the "perfect knight", the strongest, bravest and truest knight of an era, which signifies the unrivaled Lancelot out of all those who sat at the Round Table of Camelot.' Summoned as Saber, it retains its original shine but still forgoes its status as a holy weapon.[2]
Raises all parameters by one when activated and vastly increases prana drain. The mere act of drawing it seals For Someone's Glory and Knight of Honour. Also possesses an anti-dragon attribute.
    • For Someone's Glory: Not For One's Own Glory. B, Anti-Unit. A fog materialised from Lancelot's tendency for winning tournaments and endeavours under another's name or a false name, it shrouds his appearance and abilities. Masters cannot observe his capabilities, either (hence the spoiler tags). It can be used to take the form of another Servant of military note—but due to Lancelot's personal convictions, only the use of a Command Seal can persuade him to do so for dishonourable reasons.
    • Knight of Honor—A Knight Does Not Die with Empty Hands. A++, Anti-Unit. Anything that Lancelot takes into his hands and can conceive as a weapon is considered to be his Noble Phantasm and he can wield it as if he was a master that had trained his whole life with it. Mundane weaponry or items are considered to be Noble Phantasms of D-Rank and their capabilities (such as speed or rate of fire) are increased to be a threat to Servants. This also allows Lancelot to wield another's Noble Phantasm as his own. Faint red lines and a dull shine envelop all items that are combined with this Noble Phantasm. Has a high activation cost.

Here are my entry! I have been waiting to use him! (Though I tried to enter with him in Fate/ Festival of Epics he was just hastily done)

  • Class: Saber
  • Master: -Up for Grabs-
  • True Name: WilliamMarshall
  • Gender: Male
  • Height/ Weight: 184 cm/76 kg
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Appearance: "Behold! The Greatest Knight who has ever lived! Greedy-Guts! The Flower of Chivalry! William Marshal, the first Earl of Penmbroke!"
  • Personality: William is a cocky man, he knows his skill and what he is worth, but despite this cockyness he is chivalrous, extremely loyal, nice towards women and children as well as the common folk. However, despite this chivalry he is not a Honor Before Reason kind of guy, no, if it helps him win without dragging too much of his honor down he are willing to use quite shrewd tactics, such as lettin his enemies fight each other until they are exhausted and wounded before attacking them. He is also a bit of a glutton, somewhat lazy and he is very interested in music-
  • Stats: (From E to A+, E being the worst, A+ being the highest)
    • Strength: B
    • Endurance: C
    • Agility: B
    • Magical Energy: C
    • Luck: B
    • Noble Phantasm (Rank): A+
  • Class Skills:
    • Rider(A)
    • Magic Resistance(E)
  • Personal Skills:
    • Charisma: B
    • Eternal Arms Mastership: B
    • Eye for Art: E (William was a great fan of music and studied it alot when he had free time, thus this skill only applied to Noble Phantasms based on music or sound)
    • Eye of the Mind (True): B
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • Flower of Chivalry, The Sword that Humbles kings (C~A+) (Anti-Unit): This is the sword with which he knighted Henry the young King, forcing the king to kneel before him, as well as defeating over 500 knights, including the previously seen as undefeatable ones. It was also the sword that killed Richard the Lionhearteds horse, instead of killing Richard himself and forcing him to surrender, after William became the sole man to ever knock him off his horse when Richard tried rebelling against his father, king Henry II. This Noble Phantasm's power changes depending on his opponent, based on the average statistic. A strike that would have been a regular sword blow towards a weak opponent that wouldn't do too much damage would become a blow capable of tearing a servant apart if the opponent was stronger. If the opponent was/is royalty the Rank increases an extra level.
    • Unbroken Vow: The Oath of the Knight (EX) (Self-Boost): This Noble Phantasm represents the part of Williams legend that once he had sworn something or had made a promise he always fulfilled it.
Whenever William Marshal swears an oath he gains bonuses that helps him fulfill it and penalizes him if he doesn't. The penalty for going against the oath/promise is proportional to the bonuses it gives and the bonuses can be stronger and weaker depending on the power of the oath. The primary factors that affects the power of the oath is the passion (An oath to destroy someone while having a fury rivaling Berserker will always be stronger than oath made half-heartedly) and how specific it is (For example "I, William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pemnbroke swears that I will not stop at anything to destroy you, -Insert Servant name here + title if he has one- of the -Insert class here- class if he as much as crooks a hair on -Insert persons name here- head!" will be more poverful than "I swear I will destroy you Servant if you hurt her in any way.")

Ummm, that's a lot of skills. And one you didn't explain. How about explaining that, and removing EAM? Because honestly, I'm looking at his track record, and I'm not seeing any incidents which qualify him for it (unlike Lancelot, who earned it by defeating an armed opponent with a tree branch).

Well, Eternal Arms Mastership A+ are described as that to qoute: Mastership of combat arts has reached the point of being said to be unrivaled in one's era. By complete merging of mind, body and technique, it is possible to make use of full fighting skills even when under the influence of any sort of mental hindrance. and William was actually seen as the best fighter of his time

Yes, but where's the proof of that? I'm not seeing anything that qualifies him for it.

EDIT: Nevermind, a lower rank is acceptable.

Well, he was called the Greatest knight for a reason, also those 500 knights that were defeated was only the ones he could remember.

I could lower it though, as it might not have been certain that he was the absolute best in the entire world, but he was the best in Europe during his life time

EDIT: What rank would you think is befitting?
