Against all my friends' wishes, I picked up Infinity Wars #3 "Why is Gamora?" is the best meme used to describe all this crap because Gamora suddenly wants to wipe out half the universe by merging them. It's stupid, weird, and so far out of left field that it suddenly became right field.
Dropped Infinity Wars after #2. Kinda weird that Bendis’s run is probably going to be the defining one in most poeple’s eyes (most casual comic readers I mean), but I can’t get into Guggan’s Guardians at all
Speaking of that event, what are people's thoughts on Infinity Warps?

I've warmed to Storm'challa in recent years, mainly because they're actually establishing their relationship again and going slow unlike what happened last time.
Hmmm, I wonder if Storm will appear in Black Panther 2, causing Nakia to become a villain like her comic counterpart.

No derailing love interests, besides movie Nakia is awesome than her comic counterpart. Also I think Storm and Black Panther in MCU could just be childhood loves but now are just friends. Heck, I could see Storm and Nakia being bffs.

It's like someone either really hates The Vision or really hates Chelsea Cain. Seriously, first Ian Flynn isn't allowed to use characters established in the post-reboot Archie Sonic universe, now this?

Oh, and apparently the canning was because "Marvel's editorial plans for the Vision and Viv characters had changed to the degree that the series’ plan was no longer tenable"? I don't buy it.
Their plans for Vision might be a mandate from the mouse. Almost everyone loved The Vision series and this was in the same vein so I have to think this came from above Marvel editorial. Even if they didn’t like Cain, this was a planned series that I assume they already paid her and the artist for the issues completed. And if they were worried about sales, then just make it digital.

Though that kind of got forgotten (outside of an issue where it's revealed to have degraded to a public access puppet show) after a few issues, possibly to stop people from questioning how a presumably multi-billion dollar space defense program was receiving the majority of its funding from a single rinky dink-looking TV series (kind of screamed money laundering scheme or something, now that I think about it).
x2 Yeah especially considering how sucky Marvel Animations are at the time. Seriously the woman already got a shitty portrayal of her in Avengers Assemble, why torture her even further by giving her an entire show about her. I meam looked what it did to Spider-Man and the Hulk; Peter ended up having to invade an entire country with his buisiness just to stop animated productions of Ultimate Spider-Man and Bruce signal for Clint to shoot him in the head so that he can die for a little while until people forget Agents of S.M.A.S.H. was a thing.

Random question, but are Cloak and Dagger a romantic couple in the comics? I know they are in the new show, but I don't know much about their comic selves.
I think in the mainline comics it's one of those things that was implied but never outright stated.
In the Ultimate Comics, they knew each other and were a couple before they got their powers, and remained so afterwards.
Traditionally, they've had a Will They or Won't They? thing. I think they've been confirmed as romantically involved more recently. I think the current digital series has them explicitly as exes.
I find it interesting that the show has kinda kept away from that angle, with Tyrone having a girlfriend.

Now that I think about it, that would be crazy concept for a story for this (and also DC) universe: what if a school/office/public shooting happens but the shooter uses high tech weaponry they found instead of assault weapons?
