"I successfully masqueraded as one of you and did you damn job for you without pay for two years. If I'm not qualified, neither are you."
The Guardians were briefly all Novas.
That pretty much demonstrates that they have no standards and should welcome an actual child into their ranks.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIn one universe, I recall they recruited Fayne Bakian who doesn't even qualify for a teenager. Seriously, she should be running around with Power Pack.
Funny thing, my reasoning for wanting to get into Dark Avengers is purely because I want to see that legendary Ho Yay that inspired at least one person to create a multi-part Yaoi doujin series starring Daken & Bullseye that surprisingly enough has some pretty good art from what I’ve seen of it.
I really wanna see the gayness between Daken, Bullseye, & Loser Venom.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."There's one scene where it looks like Daken is giving Bullseye a handjob in a movie theatre. That's it.
So um
Who's Sleepwalker
Think Neil Gaiman's Sandman as done by the Silver Age, only it was first made in the Nineties.
And that new Sleepwalker miniseries will have a connection to the Infinity Countdown Darkhawk miniseries that ended today. It's nice to see Marvel giving focus to some of their lesser known heroes. I do hope Darkhawk eventually gets his own series though.
All I know about Sleepwalker besides his existence is he was the protagonist of this fanfic which took effort to avoid Popularity Power, so characters like 8-Ball could beat Bullseye.
'The Mindscape is an alien dimension that is connected to the minds of all living entities in our dimension. It is infested with horrible demons and monsters, many of which seek to prey on the minds of innocent humans. The Sleepwalkers are a race of beings charged with defending the minds of humanity, fighting the demons of the Mindscape and capturing them before they can do any harm. One of these Sleepwalkers became trapped in the mind of human college student Rick Sheridan by his enemy, the demonic Cobweb. The Sleepwalker's attempts to escape wound up getting him fused with Rick's consciousness, producing a bizarre side effect that allowed the Sleepwalker to manifest in the human world whenever Rick was asleep. Simply calling himself by his race's name due to his actual personal name being impossible for humans to pronounce, Sleepwalker took to battling crime in New York City while Rick slept, fighting criminals and supervillains the way he had the monsters of the Mindscape.
The series put a unique spin on many of Marvel's traditional concepts, such as the hero being hated and feared by the very people he tries to protect, and the main protagonist suffering the consequences of trying to juggle his heroic and ordinary lives. While Rick was not in actual danger when Sleepwalker emerged from his mind to fight crime, he did suffer severe repercussions, including losing his job as a building superintendent and nearly being killed when Sleepwalker's addiction to a particular frequency of light led the alien to force his way out of Rick's mind, putting him in a coma.
While Sleepwalker has remained a C-list backgrounder since the series was cancelled in 1994, he nonetheless has a small cult following, including The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.'

The Protomen enhanced my life.I know I'm beating a dead horse at this point, but I wish Jim Zub had started out as the writer of Champions because man does he handle the character dynamics so much better.
Today's issue is finally touching on the trauma that Viv has experienced and been repressing.
I kinda fell off. What happens?
So Avengers felt the need to explain why Earth has so many superheroes compared to other planets. If you believe Loki's account A dying celestial crashed into Earth back when it was a molten rock and its blood melted and fused with the very fabric of the earth, so all life that originated from Earth is predisposed to develop amazing powers
Which I'm cool with but kind of feels like an answer in search of a question. We already have ancient kree-experiments, Mutants, and even animal totems (if you want to get into that) to explain all the superheroes. Moreover it kind of reduces the achievements of earth's super scientists.
Earth really is the center of the universe in fiction isn't it?
Its the origin of life in DC and I don't think we ever got an explanation for why it was the lynchpin in the universal collisions leading up to Secret Wars but there you go center of the universe.
Forever liveblogging the Avengersbecause earth had molecule man on it and when the two earth's collided both of them exploded taking out the universes
Well, that explains how the Sentry could be so stupidly overpowered.
X-Men Black. We're getting an X-Men Black.
Can we get an X-Men Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, White, Back 2, White 2, X, Y, Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon please?
And to think, IIRC Shuri was not liked at all when she first debuted but then the movie made her an Ensemble Dark Horse with the general public. I have a feeling it won't do well in single issues at all sales-wise but I think she'll be a success in trades.
There's a bunch of Gruenwald Cap trades on sale for over half off and I don't have the money to buy them.
Please contribute to my GoFundMe page in this trying time I'm going through.
I feel like Shuri was introduced to not be liked
She was replacing a historied male character in a position of authority
Like Maria Hill, the queen of hate sink
Forever liveblogging the AvengersPretty excited about a Shuri solo by Nnedi Okorafor and Leo Romero. They're great creators, and Shuri's awesome.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.
I guess that Sam will now have to go to the nearest Nova recruit office and legally ask for a job. He may have been an illegal Nova, but at least he has some experience about it.
Ultimate Secret Wars
