Yeah,Disney is starting it's own streaming service making netflix their competitor, same with other one as well
New theme music also a boxBasically everyone wants to make their OWN streaming service! With blackjack! And hookers!
It's gonna blow up in their faces when the market is so divided no individual streaming service is worth the price tag and they all crater.

Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Nah. Streaming services are like MMOs. Every now and then a "rival" to "The Big One" will rise and challenge it, but ultimately, everyone always goes back to that one, because it's the one with the history. It has the momentum. Every IP owner who wants to profit will go to the big guy, and every gamer is going to go back to the game they've already sunk all that time and money into.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI think Steam is a more apt comparison. Sure, you can make your own Origin, Battle.net or uPlay but they're rarely going escape the shadow of the original.
In my case, it's actively hurting sales for them. I might have bought Battlefield 3, but lolnope it's not on Steam.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youHopefully the breaks are cordial enough, just in case their apps crash and have to come back crawling to Netflix.
Wake me up at your own risk.Netflix is now infamous for caring more about quantity rather than quality. It seems VERY easy to get a show on Netflix these days.
Studios are starting their own streaming services because they'll get more bottom line when they eliminate a third-party middle man. ... of course the customers also suffers because it means losing more money per month.
Disney's streaming service will probably survive where the others fail because its got Disney $$$ backing it
New theme music also a boxEven with Disney's impressive resources and catalog they still have to combat the main issue of not being Netflix. I think leaving Netflix is going to hurt them more than do them any good.
Disney could buy Netflix with the money they have
New theme music also a boxBut that would mean they can't carry the other shows/movies Netflix owns that they do not.
Wasn’t Alex making a show for Fox?
Peace is the only battle worth waging. That fell through I believe.
It's almost like it's Fox or something.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.It was just an April Fools joke.
Optimism is a duty.what was the joke?
New theme music also a boxLily Orchard posted a 1,5 hour video called "Gravity Falls is Garbage and Here's Why", which opened with a rant, which is then abruptly interrupted by Bill Cipher with an annoying lost signal-type sound for the rest of the video.
Optimism is a duty.oh yeah,I can see why that was thumped
In any case, live action gravity falls, yay or yay?
New theme music also a boxI'd watch that in a flash. Hire Louis Hynes for Dipper! (He's Klaus Baudelaire from the Netflix A Series of Unfortunate Events)

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youThose things are all fantastic and Gravity Falls undeniably blatantly plagiarized drew inspiration from them, but they aren't Gravity Falls.
Oh. They got indulgent then.
I...
I do think sometimes that Supernatural-type shows are a little underwhelming, when the world-ending apocalypse demon gets punched in the jaw and keels over.
Or when "All the angels smiting you all at once" leaves a three foot deep crater.
