Dude, this forum is to discuss major changes to pages that need reworking. Adding an example is something you can do yourself. If you're not sure an example fits, try Ask The Tropers.

Another missing example: He is never met in person (which may explain why he was missed) but Josef Virek from Gibson's Sprawl Trilogy is most definitely a Man in the Machine. It is made quite clear that he is being kept alive in a vat somewhere, hooked up to intensive life support equipment. Unless the medical reason for his merging into the machine somehow qualifies for a different trope?
