I honestly only am going for cosmetics and thats it. I know I don't have the patience to 100% the game and that chances are if I tried I'd start hating the game.

Ha

I missed the part where that's my problem.

[up][up] Any words about CTR: Nitro-Fueled getting some next-gen upgrades, or a possible Complete Edition release? I'm sure Activision was saving the PC version for when they'll port the game to the Xbox Series X/S and the PS5, just like how Rockstar Games did it with the PC version of GTA V, waiting until the PS4 and Xbox One versions came out at the time.

Though, I suspect not, probably because they don't want people to have nice things.

"Battle.net"? really? god i hope Activision isn't going to try and pull an epic and turn their little launcher into another steam knock off.

[up] Activision also owns Blizzard, who made the battle.net marketplace.

If this means we can have Crash (and perhaps Spyro too) in Heroes of the Storm, I'm all up for it.

People thought the same about Destiny but that never happened so don't get your hopes up lol.

Battlenet is kind of like Acti-Blizzard's steam yeah, it even has other notable games like COD

So, after a few years of only experience the N'Sane Trilogy version, today I finally decided to play the original PS 1 version of Warped.

While I do have Warped in my top 20 games list, it was based on the remake version. But I can say that I love the original PS 1 version. Been playing it on my new PS 3 that I got this week that shall become my only way of playing PS 3 and PS 1 discs (I have another PS 3 that might have an issue with the disc drive but it can still play digital games I own like Symphony of the Night or Play Station All-Stars).

Funnily enough the first PS 1 game I tested with my new PS 3 was CTR. Also funnily enough Warped was the last of the PS 1 Crash games that I got.

[up]You could learn wiki markup. Surrounding them with [ = = ] (but without the space between the bracket and equal sign) makes camelcase and alphanumeric strings not linkified.

[up]Ah, I’ll test.

Lately, I’ve been playing PS1 games on my PS2 via the backwards compatibility, but visual clarity on my PS2 is bad due to some fuzz that goes up the picture. Thus, I’ll use my PS3 to play PS1 games.

I've been playing Crash Bandicoot games for over 20 years, and I don't think anything has made me suffer quite as much as Ship Happens. Holy shit I am never trying to get all the crates again.

Anyway I REALLY gotta get back to playing Crash 4. Haven't touched it since I beat that sea monster thing...

I just beat the N’ Sane Trilogy version of Crash 3. Not completed but I at least beat Cortex.

I hate the motorcycle levels with a burning passion.

Double Header’s bonus was a pain in the arse.

I couldn't stand the motorcycle levels on my N-Sane Crash 3 playthrough either. Even when I finally figured out the controls, they just felt like a chore to play through. Even the jet ski levels were more fun IMO.

Finished 4. I have... mixed feelings. A lot of the level design is good to great, there's a ton of content even without delving into optional challenges and the visual design and anination is excellent, but I feel that Toys for Bob's vision ended up conflicting with the franchise's core mechanics. The emphasis on difficulty leading to modern mode being the default and recommended one rubs me the wrong way, because the core loop partly relied on Wumpa meaning something through the lives system. Removing it just leads to you brute-forcing through levels and only caring about Wumpa in so far as the % thresholds for gems are concerned, and that's a bit lame. But going for retro mode is not only damn near incompatible with trying to get all crates and other optional challenges (as I ended up concluding about halfway through the game, wherein I gave up and switched to modern), but highly frustrating as you progress and the levels get longer and harder. I kinda suck at the game, but it's also that the shape the difficulty takes isn't one I found engaging or properly challenging as much as frustrating. By the last couple of worlds, I simply wasn't having that much fun. I liked it as a whole, but as much as I want TFB to continue making the franchise, there's a whole lot of room for improvement if they ever make another.

Quick question, is there a way to turn off in-game music in Nitro-Fueled without also turning off the start-of-race music? It's for a video series I want to do where I replace the music with tracks from Tekken like that one guy did with Smash music.

You know, if it weren't for the ridiculous extent of the Freemium Timers, On the Run would be quite the recommendable game.
