Gendo,
I'm leaning towards cleaning on Esper Mami. It's rather bizarre, but yeah. Is it possible to mark pages officially as "dangerous waters"?
p.s. I read Death Panda and Uziga works before. Easy decision. They're gone now.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Well, you could just have one of those %% banner warnings that say quite clearly at the top of the page not to gush over the fanservice or your edits will be removed. Or worse.

^Actually a pretty good idea in that it removes a good bit of creepiness.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyWell, that can easily be done. In fact, that should've been done in the first place.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.True especially if the rest of the show can be safely watched by 10 year olds.
There are several works this could apply to that have already been discussed (Strike Witches comes to mind). Can we make this official?

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenI like the idea of an official no gushing comment at the top of problem pages.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWhat would this comment say?
I like this:
%% When editing this page, please be especially mindful of our No Lewdness No Prudishness policy. When describing the tropes listed in this work, do not gush over fanservice elements. Doing so will lead to your edit being reverted and possible disciplinary action.
being very against cutting works I think that's a fair and reasonable solution for many of the border line works.
That would work. It's much less blunt than what I had in mind.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenThat looks good. Of course, as it will only display when you've opened the page for editing, the bluelink won't automatically show up.

I'm aware of this. Wanted to go ahead and bluelink it here in case people were unaware of the page (by some odd reason), and to give them a reference for a more detailed policy statement.
Arha's placement is something I agree with. When I was first reading this, I thought people were proposing it as a page banner, which would cause all kinds of problems. XD

It could appear at the top of the page in some form like "Image Pickin' Discussion" is on the top of World-Wrecking Wave page.
Maybe just a phrase like "under content violation watch" that links to a page that spells out those rules.

The fact that I had double-percent signs was meant to convey that it was going to be commented out at the top of the page. I apologize if the bluelink was going counter to that intention.
Commented out on the top of the page seems best to me.

+1 for the hidden "no gushing" tag, that's a great idea.
I don't think the bluelink is necessarily counter to having a hidden "no gushing" comment, but it might be a bit problematic. Either way, the banner is an excellent idea. The little issues can be worked out.
Well, certainly, something will work out.
Any particular issue with that proposed comment/tag? As in, does the wording and general tone of the message seem reasonable to everyone?
I have no objections, mang.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Looks good to me.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!I'd also kind of like to know what's up with the devil votes on Morenatsu. I don't care about it, but it doesn't look cut-worthy, and it's annoying watching Enzeru be mostly ignored.
If I remember correctly one of the characters looks pedo-baitish or some thing.
A (hypothetical) banner would be good as well, since it is visible to the reader. "Here be dragons; possibly. If you spot one, that's some naughty editor's misjudgement. We do not approve of dragons." Of course, that functions in a different way from a simple note to editors. So maybe a digression.
We can also put all pages that got away conditionally in an index so that they're easy to watch.
"These pages were reported for possible content rule violations, but were kept under the conditions that they remain clean. This move is usually done with works that have things worth troping in them, but also possess aspects that attract content rule-violating edits. For that purpose, they are watched here so that violations can be spotted quickly. Exercise more careful judgement when editing these pages, and report if you find instances where the rule was broken."
Or something.

I've watched the anime in its entirety and have read the 3rd and 4th novels (which weren't adapted) and am keeping up with Baka-Tsuki's current translation project, so I can answer any questions regarding it.

Trolls probably think flagging works like sort of an anonymous tip while, in truth, the staff can see who did it.
