I was, for the most part, being tongue in cheek. The idea of someone who "really likes porn, but also strongly agrees that this isn't the place for it" seems like someone who should be on the council, but it's nothing central to it.
Like I said before, I'd be willing to do it if necessary, but I don't think that I have enough of a track record either on the forums or the wiki to be a viable candidate.

I think porn should be troped. Perhaps in a sister site, if necessary, but I think it is good that the troping is done somewhere. Nevertheless, I have a very strong consciousness and wouldn't lie about these things.

For the record, we had already asked someone who we thought would be good for this job, but that person couldn't accept due to real life issues. So we had one candidate already turn us down.

There's really nothing remarkable about it other than that it's sex for sex's sake. Seems like it's porn enough to me that I would axe it.

I have a history of non-participation on the wiki and the like, which generally discredits me. That, and I don't think Fast Eddie trusts me.
I could apply too, but I'm not sure I consider myself qualified to pass judgments on a lot of the stuff here I do not know. I do however know a standard to strike down pure porn or anything that's plot-threadbare that it may as well have been an excuse (goes without saying works found to have pedo-titillating scenes will go too)...
But what am I to pass judgment? I don't think I'll be a candidate...

I don't think nominating yourself as a candidate is going to be very helpful. The moderation and Fast Eddie presumably already know who they would consider to be competent to do this. If anything it probably distracts us from any other work we could accomplish.

Well, back when the 5P's composition was still in the works, I remember that the mods clearly said that we can "file applications", and hope that your name eventually gets put on their supersecret crowner for voting; makes sense, since in the end you can't actually force someone to the position, even if they're overqualified.

Oh, yeah, that anime was definitely Porn Without Plot. The manga has a pretty good (but very controversial) plot. Chapter 6 is downright infamous.
