Peta is a creator of works (advertisements and games.) Don't we have pages for that?

I guess their works do deserve coverage on this wiki. But I don't think the actual organization needs to be covered here. Maybe just a list of things they produced?

Well, do we have any works by PETA on the wiki? It's not like they feature prominently as a media creator.

The Avatar example on Animal Wrongs Group doesn't quite seem to fit there (more like Nice Job Breaking It Extremists or something).

As long as we're on the topic, is there any actual rule about what kind of real-life topic is eligible for a Useful Notes page? I've seen several about history, politics, and philosophy that don't really seem to have much to do with any particular trope.

It has to do with whether said topic is frequently addressed in media. That's pretty much the whole rule. Useful Notes are directed primary at authors with the intention of helping them gather relevant information on a topic and avoid common Did Not Do The Research types of mistakes about it.

The crowner has been running for two full days and is at 9:1 (+24) for cutting. I suspect we won't get much of a change but I'll give it another 24 hours.

There's a page on Super Chick Sisters, but it doesn't show up in the related to because that page itself potholes PETA to Animal Wrongs Group. Not sure if there's any other page for PETA media on this wiki.

Given the overwhelming consensus, I'm going to call this in favour of cutlisting.

[up]Cutlisted it. Will run through the wicks soon.

And it was cut, noted on the discussion.

Lock-hollering.

Crown Description:

PETA's examples list was basically Complaining about the Real Life organization of that name, which is irrelevant to the wiki. Exampleless, it is a two sentence stub. Most uses of PETA in fiction are already covered under Animal Wrongs Group.
