Realistically speaking, a new Toonami could be like 2 hours of nostalgic programming, with like an hour of new programming.

But yeah, this is a gift, from my perspective, so enjoy it and don't bitch about it.

There is a small sliver of hope that the ratings for adult Swim just skyrocketed and one of the morons from CN notices and goes "Huh...maybe we should bring Toonami back."

Can't say I was surprised. It's a shame that while the network is well aware of the draw of the block by nostalgia factor alone, they won't bother to revive it full-time by nothing short of a miracle.

I don't even care that it's for only a day. This is many of our childhoods playing right now.

Tenchi Muyo!... Oh man, I haven't seen that in ages.

I'm honestly crying and I dont care. That promo fucking did it.

I was never able to watch Toonami much when it aired due to no cable, but my cousin had it. I remember holing up in the upstairs room watching it and asking questions about Dragon Ball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho (I remember seeing the end of the Garlic Jr. saga in the former and an episode with this guy made of rocks who the red-haired guy beat with a rose in the latter). Even though I didn't watch it much, it still got me interested in anime and I remember what little I saw of it fondly. Even if lil' me didn't like the shows much, i really liked the commercials and TOM ending bumps ^^

Haha, I never really watched Tenchi Muyo when it was on, struck me as weird show. For some reason the main guy sounds like Kensouke from NGE to me.

This episode didn't even air when Toonami was on, but I don't care!

This shit is bananas.

Shame, I was hoping for the first episode.
