The image has to be no bigger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels, which is pretty tiny as far as pictures go.

So, I figured I'd use this thread instead of making a new one, so bear with me.
I'm trying, at the moment, to change my avatar and signature, but every time I tell the thing to save it just spits out my old settings instead. The avatar has been uploaded and is my gallery, but as I said, the thing just isn't registering the changes I'm making. What's up?

Actually, they autoresize for you. The limit is actually 20 kb.

Yeah, I've been having the same problem. Every time I try to upload it, it won't show up and I'm sick of having this white silouhette with a yellow lamp as a profile, honestly.

I have the same issue. I upload it, but when I leave the page, it resets back to the silhouette/lamp. What do I do to get it to stay?

Alright, pretty sure I figured it out: you have to select the desired image, and then do NOT click the "process share/delete". Just go back to your profile. I think what it does is reset what pictures are supposed to be saved, so whenever you select your image and click the "process" button it just reset your avatar back to the default.
I've been trying to upload my profile picture to little avail. I've followed some of the tips given here (resized it to less than 20KB and clicked the photo image) but no luck

ok guys all u need to do is upload ur pic, close the tab, and reopen again. it's gonna show up as the lamp the first time again but once u open a new spot (profile>media for example) then it should show up!
I'm having the same problem. I can't upload a pic to TV Tropes, no matter how many times I click on "Upload Photo", because the button is not working for me.
