Blue, can you wait until tonight for starting the RP? Please? Just so I can get my sheet done before it all starts.
Alright, assuming that's okay with the others.
Blue Pacific, signing off...No problem. Btw, I´ll probably post at unusual times, because I live in Germany. It´s 5 hours later here then Eastern Standard Time.
That's okay. This isn't something where everyone needs to be on at the exact same time or anything.
Blue Pacific, signing off...Waiting until night's fine with me.

I live in Britain so my posting times might be odd too.
Also I think we could at least start the discussion thread now, just so we don't clog up the signups
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobGot it, I'll start that now.
Blue Pacific, signing off...- Name: Reitt Blenforte (most teachers will probably badly remember his name as either Rad or Retto)
- Age: 16
- Magic of Choice: Dark Summoning Magic, which lets him create large, demonic golems that obey his will. In tandem to this is the use of Black Lightning.
- Paint Color: Pitch Black
- Personality: Despite his history and what most know about his parent's affiliation, he is actually a pretty decent young man, though he does show a little bit of a selfish streak when romance is involved, though he is aware of this. He also tends toward not liking being punished for any mischief he gets himself into. He can tend toward being impulsive and a little too Hot-Blooded for his own good. He is also rather more intelligent than one would think at a first glance, though he prefers acting rather dull.
- Bio: Reitt is the son of Arisa and Joseph Blenforte of the Schwartz Foundation, a group dedicated to bringing about a magical event through their son. He has since become less involved with mom and dad due to intervention from his Aunt Kallia Blenforte, resulting in Reitt disliking his parents for seeming to view him less as a son and more as a magical talisman, though his mother had to be "persuaded" by his father to be more willing in this plot. He is currently staying with relatives while he attends school. His reputation around school is that of being a slightly aloof rich kid.
- Appearance: Reitt is a handsome, tall and muscular young man, he usually wears a black shirt, a blue jacket, dark blue jeans, steel toed boots, and a scarf around his neck. He has black, somewhat spiky hair, blue eyes, and a small scar on his jawline.

Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.Nick The Swing: You seem awfully specific about magic of choice. I think in your case you want something like dark magic or a broader term that encompasses both of those abilities. From the examples given by Bluesunnyday, it sounds to me like each person has one specialization (fire magic, water magic, conjuration, necromancy, that sort of thing), not just two abilities that they're good at.
In fact, is it correct in me assuming that the magic of choice is just what someone's best at, and not in fact their limit? Anyway, I'd consider noting what you put in his magic of choice section at the bottom as a note, and replace it with some term that's more generalized.
Yeah, it's just that being able to summon a particular type of creature struck me as a bit too focused, and listing the ability to shoot dark lightning seemed like it was more of a particular spell than a speciality. Still, it's you decision whether it counts as a magic of choice.

It's just what they're best at. A person can have technomancy as their magic of choice AND study summoning. Also, there ARE different elements of summoning. So Dark Summoning is possible.

Blue Pacific, signing off...Discussion is HERE: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13303716500A21080100&page=1#1
Blue Pacific, signing off...- Name: Alexander Solano
- Age: 15
- Magic of Choice: Aquamancy (ability to control water)
- Paint Color: Purple
- Personality: Care-free, happy, easily excitable, childish... on the outside. When the people he cares about are in danger, or when he is really pissed off, he becomes a maniacal child who will do anything to complete his objective. Thanks to this hidden side of his personality, he is also a bit paranoid.
- Bio: Lived in Europe most of his childhood. His house was located on a small island surrounded by water and a forest, as his parents wanted him to stay completely away from the outside world. Home-schooled, he spent most of his time playing with the water, which led him to becoming a very care-free child. But on his 15th year of life, war reached the small island, and his house was invaded by a squad of soldiers. After a fight between his parents and the squad, his dad was taken and shot behind their home- and once Alexander heard the shot, something activated on his mind, and he became a completely different version of himself. As he saw the soldiers leave the island on a small wooden boat, he created waves that soon enough destroyed the boat and some of the soldiers inside, leaving only one of them alive. He quickly escaped with his Mom to New York, and lives there to this day.
- Appearence: Here he is.◊
So are we going to wait until night or start now?

I think we could probably start now. Let me put up the RP thread.

Blue Pacific, signing off...Can I still sign up?
Yeah.
Blue Pacific, signing off...Name: Brendan Burke
Age: 17
Magic of Choice: Enchantment; he can't use it much in straight combat so he's adorned with rings and amulets and trinkets and staves and such that he's enchanted ahead of time. Dabbles in other magic for the sake of convenience, but I'm not exactly sure what kind of magic that would be and he wouldn't be very good at it. Probably pyromancy. Useful because he can access a variety of magic very easily, not so useful in that he has to prep the objects ahead of time and if he's caught without them he's in trouble. (This was a concept I wanted to test out, Let me know if it won't work.)
Paint Color: Crimson
Personality: A people person. Possesses a sort of tame energy most of the time. Considers himself pretty charismatic, possesses an insatiable curiosity about the people and stories around him. Generally very good with people, except when he's attracted to someone; when that happens, he gets very flustered and embarrassed. Kind of cocky when it comes to magical ability, if only because he possesses the advantage of being able to access a variety of things through his enchanted adornments.
Bio: Born in Ireland, but his parents fled from there during the big Europe war so he's fairly out of touch with his heritage. He still has a bit of an accent as a result of living with them. It can be almost unnoticeable to very pronounced when he's angry. Lived pretty averagely, still reasonably close to his parents. He writes them a letter every week.
Appearence: Short red hair and a small flickering of freckles (Very Irish, can you tell? I was feeling Irish). Keeps it neat. Blue eyes. Pretty much average height and build. Has kind of a dorky smile when he's embarrassed.
So, umm, is my character accepted, Bluesunnyday?
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.Oh, both are.
Blue Pacific, signing off......Ok, I have question: How long ago did the war in Europe start?
It started about 10 years after the magic came back. It's been 20 years total since M-Day.
Blue Pacific, signing off......So it started ten years ago?
Yes. It's been going on for a VERY long time. The sides are basically in a stalemate, but nobody is willing to stop fighting.
EDIT: On second thought, it started 15 years after M-Day. It's still been 20 years since M-Day though.

Blue Pacific, signing off...Ok, I'm just wondering because I'm making my character from one of the European countries, and I needed to know if it started in his lifetime or not, and, luckily for me, it did!
Changed my background.
