I'm more bothered by the fact that they never caught it, and if they did, never corrected it. The mistake is a normal thing. It happens.
Makes you wonder if they even played the final version of the game. Anyone who worked on it and played that should have immediately realized something was wrong.

Disgusted, but not surprisedYup. That the mistake happened isn't the issue, it's that They Just Didn't Care enough to actually do basic playtesting and compliance even for such a major and glaring issue. Now I make these kinds of mistakes all the time, but I have enough investment in getting the program to actually work to go back and try to fix them.
As a programmer, that kind of mistake would've been caught by a developer quite easily, assuming the developer gave a microgram of a shit. The fact it wasn't speaks extremely poorly about Gearbox (a company I don't hold in very high regard in the first place).
Reminds me of Everything Becomes F, oddly enough (an anime I like, but not many people seem to like).

I know I've said this everywhere on Twitter but it bears repeating:
SASUGA GEARBOX and SASUGA PITCHFORD
Can you try without moonspeak or is that too hard?
What the actual fuck are you even saying?
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. He's sarcastically saying they're lovely people, according to Google
New theme music also a boxHow does google even come into this?
I looked up the meaning of the word 'SASUGA' on Google
New theme music also a boxit basically means "Just as I expected from" and all that. Its supposed to be a compliment of sorts but its easy to use in sarcasm too. What I'm saying is a gaffe of this caliber was to be expected of Gearbox and Pitchford but still hilarious.
Nobody likes Randy Pitchford unless he's crying (boo ho) like a big baby.
Most people hate Randy because he's an asshole right
You know who probably hates Randy more? Himself.
You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price. What’s the current opinion on Borderlands?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Playable, but mediocre and grindy, with humor that can easily become grating.
Grindfest with dur hurr humor and sometimes memes.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.A third one is in development, right?
Disgusted, but not surprisedActually 4th, 5th if ya count the Telltales spin-off.
In order of release date it’s Borderlands, Borerlands 2, Borderlands the Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands, & finally Borderlands 3 which yes is currently in development.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I don't. TBF, that's more to do with my dislike of Telltales games in general. Their telltale style of games just doesn't work for me.
Ah yes, the Pre-Sequel. The title alone put me off of that — it was a case of trying too hard, IMHO. A lot of the humor in the games comes across as trying too hard to me.
Disgusted, but not surprisedEven if the humor is hit or miss I still like the games.
The bazillionger guns & RPG combined with FPS gameplay utilizing multiple unique characters with special abilities always made for a fun time.
Plus Handsome Jack was always an entertaining SOB.
I could do with less grinding of course though.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Honestly, I thought Doom (2016) was a funnier game.
Disgusted, but not surprisedWell Doomguy is a master comedian after all. He’s not just an unstoppable demon slayer & ripper of multiple organs.
Heh I’d like to see Doomguy & Z0ro go for a beer.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Am I the only person on this beautiful Earth who likes the Microsoft UI rectangles?
The real question is how in their QA never caught it, even after the launch.
