I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.In-universe only wouldn't work, since we already have Embarrassing Nickname, which serves the same purpose.

Hope this is the correct forum to put this in. When browsing the A Song Of Ice And Fire pages, I saw that Detractor Nickname had been cut.
I understand this being a bad thing for negative fan nicknames, but was wondering if perhaps the trope could be re-created as in-universe only.
