Do note that 'Kitty-Talk for Dummies' works on any cat lines in the Sky trilogy AND Crossbell duology. Cold Steel they abandon it, probably because voice acting.
And Agate is a lot like Rean, the little sister thing is real. However he is quite a bit harsher on Tita than Rean is with Elise... mostly cause Tita takes risks and is a budding mad scientist in the making as you can see.
Tita for sure has a Childhood Crush or Bodyguard Crush but its admiration at best despite everyone else thinking differently, even when she is older. Also she has too much shit on her plate usually to think about it being the budding Mad Scientist.

Restarted the first game since I got a new memory card for my Vita. I got a bit into the game previously, but eventually got hopelessly lost and couldn't figure out where to go next and eventually just wandered away from the game.
... I can't believe I didn't realize that Estelle's father is named after the two captains of the White Base in the original Mobile Suit Gundam, Paolo Cassius and Bright Noa.

She/Her | Currently cleaning N/AHelp! Trails brain rot has consumed me to the point that I now listen to Abend time music while studying!
It's unironically catchy.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Maybe should use that tune while I'm studying 🤔.
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/AUnironically, it helps set my brain in the mood. I'm currently translating RN.
Granted, me as Rean DID score pretty low on the mid terms, 53, IIRC.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Hey, just out of curiosity: who is the illustrator for the Cold Steel games and Reverie? Because I couldn't find their name anywhere.
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/AThere was no one specific, it was done entirely by Falcom's in house artists.
The only guest character designer for Trails is Katsumi Enami who did Zero and Daybreak/Daybreak II. (new characters in Azure were also done by the internal art team)

Are their names available or is it Falcom not naming them for whatever reason?
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/ATo my knowledge, they don’t release the specific names. They are just credited under the art team.
Falcom typically does not credit individuals but the brand. Which is smart as the Nomura effect is a big annoying thing for gaming companies, even Nomura himself gets blamed for things he did not do. Which is why you have Falcom JDK as the sound team vs crediting individual artists for music instead of like XIV crediting everything to Soken when there are many non-Soken tracks credited to him.
Part of Nomura's reputation is also because he worked on Kingdom Hearts.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. It's also because he's freelance.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. Let's give it EVERYTHING we've got! It's...PUNISHMENT TIMENomura isnt freelance, he has been with Square since FFIV as a debugger and started working on designing monsters for FFV. The only time he has worked on anything but a Square product was when he designed Torna for Xenoblade 2.
Anyway with Falcom JDK you can usually tell who wrote an individual song but most of the time its just a guess.

Huh I could have sworn he was freelance.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. Let's give it EVERYTHING we've got! It's...PUNISHMENT TIMEFalcom largely doesn't credit its staff to prevent what happened in the late 80s and 90s, when a large chunk of their staff left because of bad pay and seeing their talents could be used elsewhere. Keeping your name out of credits encourages staff to stay with the company so they can't be scouted. It's a really shitty practice.
Oooof.
Are they getting better with the paychecks though?

She/Her | Currently cleaning N/ASo, lore question:
Are the events of what happens immediately after the SSS return from the Azure tree ever shown?
Like, what exactly does Loyd do now?

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. What happens right after azure is never shown but it is talked about.
As for what Lloyd and the SSS do… well umm play Cold Steel 3 to find out. Cold Steel 3 and 4 continues most of Azure’s plot lines although some characters won’t appear directly till Reverie, no one is left out.

Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.Lloyd: Another crime before my time, made your heart sad and blue. And so now you make me pay for things I didn’t do.
Also, pretty sad that Estelle and friends, plus Wazy, just leave Crossbell to be taken over by the Empire. Unless they are providing aid to whatever resistance groups that the SSS is part of.
I’m still kinda surprised that the Cold Steel 2 bit didn’t elaborate on what exactly the SSS’ current state is.
I guess Lloyd’s event with Elie spells it out to some degree, Tio has to go back to the foundation, Randy’s skills are needed in the defense force, and Elie has to help her grandfather.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. They don’t elaborate because they probably didn’t know exactly what they were going to do with them.
Even the C Gs at the end of Azure are… uhh not completely accurate.

I still love you can tell what the cats are saying in Sky.
