[up][up]I think that's true of pretty much any picture we could use for this trope.

^^ I meant 'animated' in more of a "moving picture" sort of way, not limiting it to traditional/digital animation productions.

Ah, so you weren't talking about animated vs. live action, you were talking about moving pictures (animated, live action) vs. still images (comic books, manga).

I think I see where you're coming from. But while I think you make a valid point, I also think if we can find a good enough frame to convey the expression, we're good to go.

And at +7 with a ratio of 2.40 to 1 (as of this post), I believe I can say that people agree that the Treasure Planet example works well enough, at least.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...

Seriously? Nothing on either Azula or Zuko? They're practically saints of this trope!

And to think this all from one episode!

"Saints of this trope" is Fan Myopia calling on line 1. That being said, the first one looks not bad.

The close up eye shot (imho) looks kinda weird.

The others are more or less ok, however that logo in the corner kills it for me.

But that being said even if the logo wasn't there, I'm not loving them. They're fine, I'm just not loving them.

Ooh...so that's what you meant.

I see where you are coming from, but there aren't that many non animated works.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.

The crowner's a week old tomorrow...if the Hawkins pic had one or two more positive votes, it'd definitely be a winner. As it is, I'm hesitant to put up any pic that's not at least 2:1 in ratio, although we don't have to stick to that like TRS requires.

In the meantime, I can edit these without the logos.

We hit 2:1 on the Hawkins pic, so it's up, potholed, and tagged. I added a bunch of the pics to the Image Links page. Locking up.
