Crunchyroll had Gokujyo on the winter list the last time I checked their charts. Is this a mistake?

Moar Saki & Kimi to Boku, yay~

I love Gokujyou. It's utterly stupid, but I'll be damned if it isn't entertaining. Looking forward to that.

Oh, and I'm excited for the AKB 48 anime...I'm fond of cutesy idol shows.

Zetman seems cool.

I was wondering why frisbees got bigger as they got closer then it hit me.

ZETMAN?!

They are really making a Zetman anime?! gringringrin

Happiness!

On another note, will be definitely following those with second seasons.

Gokujyo seems like it's worth a shot, and I'll definitely be checking out Medaka Box, because it's a manga I love plus Gainax.

I like the rainbow-ness. Reminds me of carebears. Perhaps I'll actually watch it...or maybe not, especially if they have weird perfume bottle things as transformation trinkets again...that was just too ridiculous. I know it's a kids show but still.

Transformation Trinket s come in all shapes and sizes really. (see the Transformation Trinket entry there for the various Precure trinkets,)

And I assume your talking about Heartcatch Precure's trinkets.... the whole theme of the series is flowers so Perfume completely fits the theme. I mean it is completely the theme, Everyone's names are all flowers, their outfits are based on flowers (When they get Frills of Justice their skirts completely bloom), the bad guys are after heart flowers all of which have a meaning which fit the personality of people who have them.

The the latest one uses broaches that can become a flute fitting the theme of music. (follows the same themes such as names and such)

A broach I can do. Perfume? It's too little-girly for me to buy into. Fine for kids, I suppose, but not for me. The concept just seems too silly, like the sort of thing a seven year old girl would think up. But I guess seven year old girls are the primary target so it's perfect for them.

[up][up] Funny because Heartcatch is the most aware of its Periphery Demographic, Hot-Blooded Mangaka who draws Precure Romance doujins, Numerous Playing With The Fetishes, Even the Girls Want Her, Bifauxnen, Walking Super Robot Shout-Out Kumojaki and the darkest out of all the series.

[up]Yes, but I'm sure the perfume wasn't for the Periphery Demographic.

Now I'm experimenting with replacing the old 200x200 images on the season pages, with wider 200x350 versions. Compare Winter 2012 Anime with Spring 2012 Anime. It doesn't take much more needed space, and I think this looks better with cast group pictures.

Yay or nay?

Nay. The dimensions are odd, and that'd take up a lot of space if your monitor has a small screen

It looks good, but I think it's too wide for the page.

[up][up]I checked in the preview mode, and even in the recommended low resolution, there was still enough space to fit the lines next to the image, it only took away from the empty spaces.

Generally, a wider dimensions would be better for practically showing more details. When all the characters are standing near each other, I have to either shrink them down a lot, to make them into sqares, or cut out characters, but following the cast shot's shape uses the space more effectively.

Also, even though it has the same height and only width, the whole thing appears significantly larger. (Thats the same reason why movies use widescreen).

Compare:

Or maybe the appropriate dimensions would be somewhere in-between?

The standard format works for most of the pics, but some do look better wider. I think it should just be whatever standard best fits each pic.

Sankarea anime confirmed to air for the spring season.

I squee-d out loud. I Started reading the manga at the first rumors of an upcoming series, and it was great.

A Zombie moe comedy in the same season as the next KWZ?

Entirely different style, in KWZ, the whole zombieism is barely more than a throwaway gag in a larger Fantasy Kitchen Sink setting, and an excuse why the protagonist doesn't die. Sankarea is about zombieism.
