I like that they gave the skits it's own logo, that makes splitting them up from the Animaniac shorts a lot easier. My one take away is they used the "laboratory mice/genes have been spliced" lyric instead of "prove their mousy worth/overthrow the earth" like in the original.
Not really, the original was longer, and the new version only had the first part.
That's the show's opening, not the one from Animaniacs...
Since they sing it every time, it obviously wasn't that long to begin with.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.The Animaniacs did a Trump spoof:
Is this a new show, or just something from the internet?
Optimism is a duty.Brand new show, exclusively on Hulu.
Was Chicken Boo as unpopular as they say he was?
Nowhere near,I don't really remember any character being crazy unpopular

Tuck Buckerson? Talk about fitting.
×2
Maybe unpopular doesn't necessarily mean hated in this case.
The Chicken Boo episode (the one Cortez is referencing a few posts above) is pure Take That, Scrappy!.

So apparently they now swear in this show, kinda disappointing to learn that considering Animaniacs was originally able funny without gratuitous profanity
New theme music also a boxApparently...
7 episodes in there's only the use of the word "hell"...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.The impression I've got is that it's more then simply saying 'Hell'
New theme music also a boxThey swear? I haven't seen all episodes, but I only recall them using the word "Hell" as in the afterlife, Dot says "sexist" at one point, and they use the name "Dick" as a nickname for Richard. Nothing more profane than the original show (when Yakko used the word "sexy" at one point).
x2 ... There has been 0 swearing in the first 5 Episodes I've seen, and none of the Clips I've seen have had swearing. This is supposed to be a Family show, so I doubt they can do anything more then the 1 "Hell" is Episode 7 apparently. You might have heard wrong information somewhere.

Well unless it's character based for who swears or not (which is entirely possible).
The notably long take of Pinky saying "shut the f—————ront door!" is kinda of leading me to believe otherwise.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. There are only two uses of the word hell.
In one Pinky and the Brain episode and the Hindenburg Soda Warner episode.
So it's not gratuitous. Hell is also pretty tame as far as swears go.
Uh, guys? Sorry to be a buzzkill, but even assuming Animation Lead Time was a thing in this case...someone noticed this rather uncouth potshot towards Johnny Depp's abusive relationship in the first episode:

I feel like the reboot is okay so far, but this...oh, this doesn't look good.
Sends me into hyperspace, when I see her pretty face…Oh right, the internet is apparently on Depp's side
New theme music also a boxKeep in mind that when the episode was written (back in 2018, according to the early gag) it was widely believed on the internet that Depp was a scumbag, and the Amber Heard counter-stuff hadn't even come up yet.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yes, but two years is enough time for animation and editing to be done. It's entirely possible that this scene itself was made a year ago when the drama started to be revealed.
For god's sake, Warner Bros.
Sends me into hyperspace, when I see her pretty face…The tweet is unavailable. What did it show?

It displayed an image that called Johny Depp a liar

x3 All the human characters and non-toon animals look ugly and uncanny in the show. I think it's an intentional stylistic choice.
